Alright, back to the story:

Professor McGonagall sat down in her soft padded chair by the fireplace. She never used to use chairs like this, but as she had grown older her back ached when she used hard chairs.

She had remodeled the Headmasters room so that it reminded her less of Dumbledore. Now, in the place of complex looking scientific instruments, she had bookshelves. In the place of glass cabinets full of oddities, she had bookshelves. In the place of the expensive telescope, she had bookshelves. In fact, the room was crammed with books! But Mcgonagall never really liked fancy decorations, so it suited her.

She thought back, over her long life as she sat by the fireplace, thinking of her students, her family and her friends. She had outlived her husband, most of her family, and almost all of her old school friends. But, she reflected, it was worth it. She was glad that she had, because now she could bless the lives of others with her knowledge.

She was thankful that she had lived a long full life, because life was worth living, no matter how hard it is. And she knew all about that.
