School's in session at Beacon Academy! And this time, four new Huntsmen prospects are about to steal the show. But first things first for these feisty first years, they have prove their worth as the meanest, leanest, Grimm-killing machines, and the only way to do that is to have wholesome conversations with their peers (and keep Marth away from every room he sets foot in).

Blake: *stiffens* How did you—

Eir: Please. You have that guarded look all Faunus have in their eyes, but I can sense a deeper gravity to it.

Blake: …You're not wrong.

Eir: If it comforts you even the slightest, I'm not one to divulge knowledge, especially not on matters as sensitive as deserters of the White Fang Blake Belladonna, but your intimate experiences in the group's inner circle has inevitably made you a threat.

Blake: *glares* I'm not part of the Fang anymore. I've put it behind me.

Eir: A shallow conviction drowned by the motions of your weapon. Gambol Shroud, a weapon of dexterity. Befitting a warrior of your agility. Must have been a vital instrument in your affairs with Adam Taurus.

Blake: *fists clench in anger and fear* How do you know so much about me?

Eir: I've made it my personal mission to know as much as I can about various things. I am team KEIM's infallible Thunder Tactician, after all. Can't afford any blindspots in my intellect.

Blake: *in musing* Team KEIM. Why do you care for them so much?

Eir: Ah, cruel irony on cruel timing. Well, I suppose any answer would suffice. When Korinna and I came to this school, we thought only of ourselves, and each other, but our leader—as foolish as he seems—had quite the ingenious ploy to prompt us to grow beyond the shelter of sisterhood.

Blake: Which is?

Eir: I'm afraid I don't possess the clearance to disclose that information to you. I do however, hope you will do your best in the upcoming Vytal Festival. *flips the book shut and stares at Blake with eyes the color of baked soil.* Perhaps RWBY will have the honor of facing us on the battlefield.

Blake: Is that a challenge?

Eir: As Marth would always insist, it is a warning. *starts reading a new book.*
