Mom had left to continue on the Gym Challenge, she let Rush travel with me, with the problem of I couldn't put him inside a Pokeball. Thanks to her weird loophole, both Ruby and Rush were playing wrestling in the Pokemon Center while I picked up supplies. Volpsei kept to my side while I walked down the isles of the Pokemart. He had my hat in his mouth as usual, having stolen it as soon as we entered the Pokemon Center, I knelt down, "can I get my hat for a second, "no!" He turned his nose to me. Before he could run off, I grabbed the hat, and set it on his head, "see? You still have the hat!" he looked at me with a puppy-like grin before sitting beside me again.

I was pinned down for the third time by Ruby, there was no doubt in my mind that she was tough, especially given how much smaller she is than the average Houndoom. Snowy quickly pinned her down, and it was a two versus one scenario, "hey! Not fair!" said Ruby, who started squirming around, "all fair in love and war-" Snowy was pinned to the ground, then got the tickle of a lifetime. While those two had their fun, I saw Davaid returning with travel supplies, "hey guys."

I almost sat down on the couch, but Oasis had taken it up, so I tried sitting so I wouldn't accidentally hurt her. The moment I made contact with the couch, Oasis used her tail to move me to the end of the couch where she laid her head, and then laid her head on my shoulder. I hugged Oasis, "hey buddy," I rubbed the side of her neck, which made her relax even more. I looked up to see Snowy still squirming on the ground while Ruby practically tortured her, "Davaid do something!" she frantically told me, trying her best to get out of the Houndoom's grasp.

Before Davaid had gotten up to help me, Ruby stopped tickling me, and licked my face, my trainer sat down in front of me, "hey Snowy, how was the Ruby Revolt?" I glared at him, "how dare you walk by while I was at the whelm of Ruby's tongue!" he smiled at me, and patted my head. I stopped glaring when he started rubbing my cheeks, "all is forgiven… for now," all four of us, Rush, me, Ruby, and Volpsei pinned him down to tickle the hell out of him.

Smalg touched down in front of Laverre City, "thank you Smalg!" I rubbed his jaw to show my thanks even further. I decided to let him be out of his Pokeball, he hadn't been outside of it since I left home to pursue the Kalos League. We stepped into the City, just to see a lot of people in red suits rushing the Pokeball Factory, "hey! Leave now, or you will be eliminated," said some lady in a white suit, to further drive her point, she sent out a tough looking Liepard, soon after three other people, all in white suits stepped forward and sent their Pokemon out as well.

I sent out the rest of my team, unfortunately they could easily out number me, since I left Rush with my son, and Snowy probably would've followed Davaid around anyways. One of the Pokemon was a Houndoom with a Megastone around its neck… almost like one of the Elite Four Malva's Pokemon. They quickly fired their attacks, the Houndoom Mega Evolved and completely knocked out my Metagross! That was no good, its trainer smirked, "what's wrong? I thought you were the toughest trainer in Aola!" I quickly struck a pose to use a Z-Move, quickly returning all but Smalg, after he had used his Malicious Moonsalt, I jumped on his back and fled.

There was no shot in hell that I could take that Houndoom if it took down a Pokemon that usually tanked hits like that without a problem!

We had stepped foot onto the next route, it was a swamp like area with a playground just before it. I took out an umbrella to try and keep everyone dry, Volpsei still had my hat, so his head would be fine. I stopped when the entire road ahead was swamp water… well, most of it was. There looked to be a little bridge across it, "well guys, get ready to get a little dirty if you fall," all of us single filed walked across the bridge.

I could almost feel Elizabeth's frustration with my telepathy, something was wrong, not even after losing a battle had she ever been this mad. She'd get upset after losing, Elizabeth was competitive, but there was something more to it…

Smalg weaved around the sky while simultaneously trying to evade the Mega Houndoom's Flamethrower, if they were to hit, we would both be toast. Whatever this group of people were, I needed to get stronger to take them down, but first I needed to tell Davaid about what was ahead of him, "Smalg, use Substitute!" I even threw a Smoke Ball, which helped immensely in getting away. We landed several miles away from the city, and I whipped out my phone.

"Hey Mom!" I greeted, "Davaid, tell me where you are heading, right now!" she sounded… scared? "I'm heading to Laverre City to get a tour of the Pokeball Factory, why?" Rush and Snowy both nodded to each other about something, "that town's been overrun by a bunch of people in red-orange suits, and one of the leaders is much, much stronger than even me!" there was no way, "Davaid, for the time being, stay clear of that town for your well being, I don't want you getting roasted alive by a Mega Houndoom!" she hung up.

I knelt down in front of Rush and Snowy, "looks like Mom needs some help," I sent out the rest of my team, "alright guys, the town we're heading has been overrun by Team Flare by the sounds of Mom's description of who took over it," I turned to the direction the town was, "we may not be the strongest, but let's give it our best shot shall we?" they all cheered, in that point and time, I felt like running, Mom was a much better trainer than I was, and she had trouble with these people! I wasn't running though, she needed some form of back up, and who else was going to provide it?

I whipped out my Holocauster and called Ash and his group, while I didn't consider them, maybe except for Ash, friends, I needed as much help as I can get to run Team Flare out of that town… at first I thought nobody would answer at first, until a hologram of Ash and Pikachu sprouted out of the machine, "Ash, are you heading to Laverre City?" he nodded, "of course we are! I'm looking to get my next Gym Badge from there!" I grinned, "well, Mom just told me it's been overrun by some bad guys, want to help me chase them out?" Ash gave a thumb's up, "we'll be right by your side, let us know when you're there, since we're probably up ahead of you."

We were going to storm that city full of Team Flare, even if Mom told me not to, she was in a pinch, and the family is always there to help each other in a pinch. I returned all except Rush, who couldn't be put in a Pokeball, and was fast enough for it to not be an issue. I pulled out a gadget I haven't used out of personal preference, but it helped me get places much quicker. It was a GPS, the City we were storming was only ten miles up ahead… "alright Rush, let's run as fast as our legs can carry us, use Extreme Speed if you have to, but first we should tell Mom about our plan, she didn't answer the phone at first, but somebody picked it up.

I knelt down and tended to Eniac's wounds, everyone was outside of their Pokeballs, we all sighed. We could've taken that fight on and won it, but I wasn't going to risk one of them being burnt until I got another Burn Heal. On top of that, it was a Houndoom that would be burning them, so it would still be very painful, but that pain will be consistently unbearable until special medicine, like a Burn Heal, was applied. My phone ranged, I turned it on speaker, and went back to my friend's injuries, "Mom, me and a few friends are going to storm that town you told us about, are you in?"

Inside the Pokemon Center, one of the Team Flare Admins shook the hands of Malva, "now I must be off, if somebody else causes trouble, you know who to call," the Admin nodded, "thank you Malva for assisting in helping us take over Laverre City. our boss will be very pleased to hear when we get the Master Ball to capture that damned Zygarde." Malva grinned, "oh please, it's a pleasure making that 'tough' Alolan Trainer run like a coward, now I must be off, Alain, a newcomer has challenged me to a battle, and I mustn't miss a fight against a strong opponent like him." She hopped on her Talonflame and took to the sky.

I sighed, once Davaid had his mind set on something, there was no way to tell him "no." I put my phone away, an turned to my team, "Well you guys, it looks like we're going to take this big battle like it's the Necrozma Wormhole Incident," Now was the time to get serious, I patted Eniac,"and you're going to get some rest first."
