Momma Deeks goes undercover for OSP. Deeks has a problem with it.
No idea how this came story came about . I blame insomnia that has take over as of late. This takes place sometime in Season 12. Spoilers for Episode 3 'Angry Karen'
This is for all the Momma Deeks fans out there. I really enjoy watching her on the show shes so funny. Do I hope this will actually happen on the show ? No not really, but it might be quite funny if it did. I'm interested in your thoughts.
"This is a bad idea" Deeks looked at his mom Roberta And sighed.
"What's wrong, don't Think I could cut it as an undercover agent." Roberta told her son.
"Mom your not an agent. This whole operation stinks."
"I volunteered and well it's for the sake of National security. I'm doing it for my country". She smiled with pride.
"Come on Deeks she'll be fine. And besides this the only option we have right now." Kensi his wife said hoping to reassure him
There is No Way, I'm going to let My mom go anywhere with him more or less be in the same room with him. He's crazy. There has to be another way. Someone else!
"Okay hes not crazy. He maybe a little… eccentric."
Deeks just looked at his wife and rolled his eyes.
"Deeks your mom is in good hands." Eric and Nell will be watching everything from ops. Me Callen and Sam will be watching her the whole time. Deeks who had been recently been temporarily dismissed from LAPD had not much say in the matter and he knew it. His mom when she had her mind to do something there was nothing not even her only son would be able to stop her.
"Well I guess I should get ready for my date, he should be here in about two hours . She went into the back room of the bar that had been set up as an office.
Deeks looked at Kensi. "I cant believe you are encouraging her to do this."
Hey, she insisted on helping when she overheard Callen, Sam and I talking. Callen and Sam both think it would be a good idea.
And You? You really think it's a good idea?"
"Well No. Not exactly but it's a quick solution. We need the info he has and this is one of the ways we can get it from him."
"Traitor. Your all traitors. Now that I no longer work with you and you all go behind my back and plan this."
"Look Deeks this doesn't have anything to do with you."
"I know that Kens, but shes the only Mom I got. I have to protect her even if it's from herself."
Kensi smiled at him.
"What? What are you looking at me like that for?"
"You Deeks. You are a great Son and I understand you want to keep Momma Deeks safe. And she will be. I promise you. It's just a simple operation. No guns or bombs involved. "
"You don't know that! What if something happens while she is with him. The man is a Russian spy. He has a lot of enemies."
"And Me Callen And Sam will be there to keep her save if something does go wrong.
And me! I'm going as well I dont trust him.
Deeks you cant you're not an agent right now.
"And this isn't a sanctioned operation either.
"True it is off the books, but I just don't know if that's such a great idea.
"None of this is a good idea. Deeks repeated
Kensi knowing her husband wasn't going to budge no matter how she tried to convince the man reluctantly agreed.
Two hours Later.
"They're here." Deeks called. Kensi who had went to the back room to help her mother in law get ready for her date. We're coming she said from inside the room. "
Deeks watched as Sam, Callen and a Russian man who Deeks knew very well walked into the Bar. He would normally make a joke about all three coming into the bar at once but he was not in a joking mood.
Arkady Kolchek was smiling in anticipation to meet his date fo the night.
It was to be a simple operation. Callen and Sam would be with them the whole time acting as Arkady's bodyguards. So Deeks knew his mom wouldn't be out of sight of them at anytime.
Arkady and Roberta would be in all appearances to be a couple on a date.
Arkady had made a deal with Callen and Sam he would give them the information they needed if they helped him make his former Ex girlfriend Stevlana jealous.
When Roberta overheard this she volunteered and came up with idea. She had never even met the man. But was willing to help out Deeks ex teammates and anyway she could. They had become like family to her.
So where is this beautiful woman you have set me up with tonight? Arkady said in his thick Russian accent.
Deeks just stared Arkady down. He had to find a way to stop this before this went out of control. But it was too late plans had been set and there was nothing Deeks could do about it.
Kensi stepped out of the room first. Roberta Deeks followed her. Deeks had barely recognized her. She was dressed in a beautiful long dark blue gown that Nell had pulled from wardrobe back at OPS. Kensi had pulled up her hair in an updo and had helped her with her makeup. It had been exactly tailored to fit Roberta perfectly.
Deeks looked back Arkady who just stared at the radiant beauty before him.
Deeks had never seen the man speechless unless of course he was getting shot at.
Deeks knew his mother had been nervous about meeting the man and wanted very much to make a good impression but her face started to fall and Deeks could see all her confidence was about to fall as well.
But to Deeks surprise Arkady walked up to Roberta and pulled her right hand and brought it to his lips in a romantic gesture. And said something in Russian that Deeks didn't understand. Neither did his mom but she smiled anyway because she liked men who had accents.
This was such a bad Idea. Deeks thought as he watched Arkady take one of her arms and tucked it under his.
Deeks was doing his best not rip the man's arm off from his mommas.
Deeks felt Kensi pull at his shoulder holding him steady knowing her husband was about to attack the older Russian man.
Deeks watched helplessly as his mom was escorted by the former Russian spy.
Nell and Eric as promised watched the show from OPS.
"Do they really think that this is a good idea setting up the two of them for this operation." Eric said from his post up in Ops.
Nell had hoped so. "Callen seemed to think so." Nell responded.
"What will happen if none of this works out the way we hope it would."
"What do you mean what will happen If it doesn't work out. No big deal Arcady will still have to help us. Nell told him.
That's not what I mean.
Nell looked at Eric as if expecting some more information on what exactly Eric was thinking. "are you worried about Roberta?" Nell was too. This could all go so wrong.
"No not exactly. Think about it If Arkady doesn't get back with Svetlana after this then he could end up with Deeks Mom. Then if Deeks Mom gets married to Arkaty that would make Him and Anna brother and sister. Then if Callen and Anna get married that would make them brothers in law.
Nell just laughed. "No way, that will never happen."
You mean Callen and Anna getting Married?
No. I mean that might happen but I mean Roberta and Arkady will never happen. Deeks would die before he let that happen. I really think you have got to stop watching those telenovelas after work.
I actually stopped watching those along time ago. I'm Into K-dramas now. Trying to work on my Koren language skills." Eric smiled proudly.
Nell smiled "well maybe you should take a break from those too.
"Eric shrugged. "Maybe."
The operation went off without a hitch. Stevlanda was none too happy to see Arkady there at the restaurant with someone else. She left in a huff after she had seen Arkady making google eyes at Roberta.
Roberta played the part well and looked just as happy to be with Arkady.
"Well I guess this date is over you better catch up with that girl of yours. It was really. Roberta told him.
I don't need to go after her she will live. She had hundreds of men that are after her. I am not one of those men."
Roberta frowned not really understanding.
"But I thought this was what this Whole operation was about you getting the girl of your dreams."
Arkady took Roberta's hand in him I think I have just met her."
Robertas eyes grew wide and smiled at the realization that he ment her.
Deeks woke up in a cold sweat. Oh thank God it had all been a dream. It must have been a result of watching too many K-drama's Eric has turned me on to. He thought to himself .
Kensi too had popped up concerned for her husband in his sudden state.
"Deeks are you okay? Do you need some water or something?
No you can go back to sleep It was just a bad dream.
Kensi looked at him still concerned. Are you sure you did bump your head a little hard last night.
No I'm good wait what happened?
You almost killed Arkady last night. You probably would have if Callen and Sam hadn't pulled you off of him last night.
It all came back to him at that moment. He really did see his Mom making out with Arkady the night before.
"No not my Momma not with him anyone but him."
"Deeks its going to be okay. Your going to get through this."
No, No, this cant be really happing.
"Well look on the bright side if your mom does end up married to the man at least hes super rich and all our money problems will be solved."
"He knew she was kidding and trying to make him feel better. So for the first time that night he laughed.
He played down again and pulled his lovely wife closer to him.
That doesn't help but thanks for trying."
"Well at least I got you to laugh."
That she did and Deeks realized that as long as he had Kensi by his side they could get through anything together.
"Deeks became silent all of a sudden.
What are you thinking about? Kensi asked him.
"So if My mother married Arkady that would make Anna my Stepsister.
Yeah?
That would be kinda weird dont you think?
What would really be strange is if Callen married Anna that would make us in laws.
"yeah but that would never happen."
"nope never." Kensi agreed and snuggled up against her husband's warm body.
