I sat down on a tree stump while at the map, I took out my journal, and started looking at the places I wanted to visit. Snowy nudged my hand, "is there anywhere nearby you want to visit?" she asked, sitting up on the large stump with me. I shook my head, "well, it's not super close by, about a couple days of travel, but it's something cool we can visit," she nodded, and laid her head on my shoulder while I worked out where we should go from here. Ruby and Volpsei were busy playing with a tennis ball I bought a couple of weeks ago.

I victoriously pinned down Ruby before lunging at the tennis ball again, only for the Houndoom to swiftly grab the ball, "I win!" she barked. The Houndoom trotted up to Davaid with the tennis ball in her mouth, and barked a couple more times. He nodded, extending his hand out, Ruby placed the ball in his hand, and he threw it. We were both on the ball in an instant. I stopped when I saw Oasis, she was coiled up and laying down very closely to where Davaid and Snowy were. I quickly trotted up to her.

The little Ninetales was walking closer and closer to me, I had to admit that he was absurdly cute, and he sat down in front of me, "hey Oasis!" he laid down a couple of feet away from me, I pulled him in with my tail, and held him closer to me, "hello, Volpsei," he laid his head on the side of my abdomen. Given he was probably only five-six months old, I couldn't be mad at him for interrupting my nap, he's just being friendly, so I patted him with my tail, and went back to sleep.

I scratched Snowy's chin, "so, you guys want to visit some huge mall…" I stopped and looked up, a wolf like Pokemon stood before us, but it was absolutely huge, and had a sword in its mouth! It stopped in front of us and stared at me, "Ruby get over here!" I stood in front of my friends just in case it tried anything, Ruby slid behind the tree stump, and Snowy got ready to attack at a moment's notice. Something was off about this Pokemon, it was oddly calm for a wild Pokemon, so I stepped forward, "hey buddy…" it had multiple scars all over its body.

I trailed closely behind Davaid, just in case it tried anything, I'll be there to at least distract it while I could. Davaid took out a Pokedex and came short with any information about it, "don't you take another step," it was looking at me rather than Davaid, it sounded calm and collected while Davaid took another step forward. I too a seat, but so did the Pokemon. Davaid was at arms length away from it when it sat down in front of him, and it laid down its sword.

I didn't dare reach out to pet this behemoth of a Pokemon, it might of laid down its weapon, but it was still probably dangerous. It chuckled at my hesitation, "you don't need to be scared, I don't have any reason to attack you, yet," it can fucking talk! Or rather, it had telepathy at the bare minimum, "uh… hey," I greeted, "greetings, young trainer," I shook my head, "I'm no trainer, I'm more of a tourist," it stared at me for several more minutes, as if it were reading me like an open book.

I peeked out from behind the tree stump after hearing no fighting or screaming, Davaid was completely fine, and Snowy was standing 15 feet away from the two of them. The Pokemon's sword was on the ground, while Davaid did his best to look composed in front of such a strong looking Pokemon. Volpsei was just staring in awe at it, while Oasis looked over at me, "I don't think we need to be scared for our safety now," she joked.

The Pokemon lowered its head to me, "you seem like you are worthy," I raised an eyebrow, "wait wha?" I turned back to Snowy, who was equally as confused as what I was. I extended my arm to pet the thing in front of me, its fur was rough, but soft at the same time, like it sort of served as a suit of armour. After I removed my hand it looked me in the eyes, "I am Zacian, you must be Davaid, correct?" it knew my name!

"I've been watching you ever since you entered that City to rid it of its pest," I chuckled, "you say you're not a trainer, and yet you're capable of taking on experienced trainers without a problem," he looked genuinely confused at what I just told him, "do you mean Laverre City?" I nodded, "now Davaid, what would you like to do now?"

If my brain didn't just die, I'd answer, this Pokemon named Zacian had apparently known I existed long before I knew it existed. I shrugged, "I was just trying to think of another place to visit," it nodded at me. It pointed at the direction it came from, "there's a factory keeping a bunch of Vulpix and farming them for their fur?" I nodded without hesitation, "Snowy, Ruby let's get going. Oasis, keep Volpsei from running off," I walked over to my bag and pulled out a few potions.

I've heard a lot about fur farms, they were awful, especially ones with Vulpix. They'd constantly take the fur off of its body, then force it to evolve, and then rip its tails off shortly afterwards. That was exactly why I wanted to kick that one guy's ass for trying to buy my friends off me. They'd only get tortured for the rest of their lives, which was not worth even a billion PD. Zacian picked up her sword, and led the way to the fur factory.

I felt an unbridle rage while the fur factory made its way into sight, it had the logo that was each of those Team Flare bastards, "Davaid, don't even bother telling me what to do, this factory is going to be a crater when I'm done with it," he nodded, "alright girl, now let's help these Vulpix out, huh?" we stopped a the edge of the bushes, two guards stood out front of the doors, "how do you guys want to do this?" asked Zacian, before she could continue, I used my telekinesis and slammed the two guard's heads into the metal wall.

I walked over to the closed doors, and cut it right through it, we stepped in, and saw all the Vulpix being held in cages. They all looked miserable, thin, and dirty. Snowy used her telekinesis to open all of the cages, "now's your chance to get the hell out of here!" they all nodded, and started running out to the door. Snowy's eyes started glowing, she closed them, and opened them shortly afterwards, "there aren't any humans nearby aside from those guards and Davaid," all we had to do now was destroy the factory after all the Vulpix got away from here.

We all stepped outside the factory, for our own safety, I started to use Behemoth Blade, and made quick work of the factory, destroying it in one fell swoop. Snowy was currently talking to all the Vulpix, "all of you, I want you to run as far away from this place as you can, stick together, you're stronger in numbers, and take care from now on, ya hear me?" they all nodded, and ran off into the distance. I stood in front of Davaid, "what do you want to do now?" he shrugged, "I guess I wanna get back to Oasis and Volpsei, then get back to wandering around Kalos."

I don't think Zacian would want to be under my wing, I saw just how much she did to the fur factory in one hit. She didn't need me, plus I already had my party of six, so even if he wanted to, I couldn't bring him with me unless I sent a Pokemon to Sycamore's lab. He nodded at me, "we shall meet again some day, for now I bid you farewell!" and with that he took off like a rocket! I took a deep breath, "c'mon guys, let's get back to Volpsei and Oasis," we started heading back to our little makeshift camp at the tree stump.

So turns out that Zacian is a female, whoops. I didn't read its Pokedex entry right lol.
