geese Howard is such a badass

"Gentlemen, please have a seat."

It was early morning in Geese Tower, and the Founder and CEO had called a meeting in his penthouse office. It was a bit of a cliche for the Leader of a company to have their office on the top floor, but Geese Howard knew exactly why. There was something addicting about standing there and looking out over your kingdom… over the territory that you've conquered.

No wonder Kagura built the tallest building in Tokyo… she's a megalomanic that one…

But today was no day for gloating. Today the plush penthouse office was packed with HCon's most trusted operatives… because the situation that had begun with that idiot Lenny shooting two CIA agents had ballooned too far out of proportion.

Almost everything that could've gone wrong, had gone wrong. Despite the precautions Geese had implemented to cover the two dead Federal agents the two teenage witnesses that needed to be disposed of - somehow that damn Texas Sheriff managed to scrounge up enough evidence to pin the blame on him. There was no chance in hell the case was good. It was likely held together by bubblegum and hopeful thoughts… unless there was a rat.

Because if there was no evidence - and Yagami had made sure there was no evidence - then what in the world could have tipped the police off?

Geese Howard knitted his fingers together and cast his gaze across the men sitting at his table. Each of them observed him just as carefully.

No. They would not be doubting their own in this moment. This was a strong house. A powerful castle guarded with sturdy rampants. It would never fall unless torn apart from the inside. There would be time later on to sweep their ranks for rats. Now was not the time.

The man sighed and reached for his cup.

To his left, Mr. Big - his head of operations. Under his direction, the product shipping operations from all across the globe kept Howard Connection's bank accounts topped off. His department was the most critical to HCon's success. Business was about having friends. And if you had no cash, you had no friends.

Next, Hein. The sharply dressed German man who led HCons legal department. He wore his standard poker face - sharp careful eyes and a faint smile. At one time, Hein used to be a partner in one of SouthTown's largest, most prestigious law firms. Now, he was here - getting paid triple, and defending Howard Connection from any and all legal takedowns. Because of his efforts, HCon went from being a gang… to a publicly traded business. He was likewise essential to Geese's operation, because he wrangled the law.

Finally,

Billy Kane. Head of Geese Howard's personal security… not that Geese ever felt the need to hide behind someone in an armed conflict. Billy was the firm's muscle. When money failed to grease someone up, and the law failed to coerce them, that was when Billy Kane's job began. Torture. Kidnapping. Beatings. Murders. He was the head of all of the… less desirable portions of the business. Billy Kane was the last line of defense. If everything went to shit, Billy would be the one to handle it.

As such, when Geese Howard looked over each of these men, he was looking at the three pillars which supported all of Howard Connection. Big? Money. Hein? Law. Billy? Lead. They could lose an innumerable amount of henchman. They could have all their buildings destroyed. Even Geese Tower could burn down. But so long as these three operations were alive, so was the corporation.

The CEO places cup of brandy down on the granite table with a *clack*, and address the men sitting before him. Each of them were very competent. Each of them, very shrewd. Geese needed their help in battling off this new threat...

Because now that the CIA had caught on to the police report - claiming one of theirs had been killed, the police force was now swarming with federal support. Eyes in the sky. Phone taps. The full works. HCon's operations would need to be incredibly discreet, and Geese Howard was certain his men could keep things humming along whilst remaining undetected.

Because the last thing HCon needed were their overseas business partners, and rivals catching wind of these troubles. The CIA investigation would find nothing. And these men would make sure of it. Whether that be through means of Money, Law… or lead.

Geese nodded at each of them in turn.

"Gentlemen… thank you for coming on such short notice. There's something serious we need to discuss…"

unfortunately geese has no idea his former underboss, the guy who used to know all of the operations is out there to get him. Gg. Let's goooo
