Chapter 2

Big Plans

Nero and Hakuno-chan are in the emperor's chambers on the large bed they share, kissing passionately. They have been an official couple for a while, not long after Nero, Tamamo no Mae and Altera joined Hakuno-chan altogether. After announcing their relationship, Altera congratulated them while the fox girl reluctantly promised to support them in any way she can. However, that didn't mean the two did not stop their bickering over Hakuno-chan and the soft-spoken brunette was always stuck in the middle of it all. Regardless, Tamamo supported her.

Right now, Nero and Hakuno-chan finish the kiss and gaze into each other's eyes. The soft-spoken brunette gives a soft smile and caresses her servant's cheek.

"My dear Saber~" she coos.

"Praetor…~" Nero swoons.

They lean in to kiss again briefly and hold each other by wrapping their arms around each other's waists.

"You know…from the time I first met you…" the soft-spoken brunette says. "I thought you were….pretty and super strong. And after spending enough time with you, I realized…I fell deeply in love with you."

"Umu~! Of course!" Nero says. "It was love at first sight for me too!"

"So then…may I ask this one simple thing?" Hakuno-chan leans a bit closer, making the Emperor blush heavily.

"A-anything, Praetor."

Hakuno-chan takes a few deep breathes. "Well…what I'm about to tell you is-"

"Breakfast is ready~!" Tamamo no Mae calls out, startling the two and cover themselves with the sheets.

"Hey! You could've knocked first!" Nero shouts.

"The door was cracked open," the fox girl replies, gesturing toward the door. "Anyways, I made all of us a yummy breakfast, so come down to eat or it'll get cold~"

"Fine…give us five minutes…" Nero groans, waving at her dismissively.

Hakuno-chan smiles nervously. "She's not wrong."

"Yes," Nero sighs. "Let's get ready. We'll talk about this later…"

**Later**

At the kitchen, Hakuno-chan and her three servants with Elizabeth included, eat their breakfast in silence. The soft-spoken brunette looks at the girls around her, having a plan forming in her mind. With Tamamo interrupting their romantic moments from time to time, there is just no way for her to tell Nero in private. So…she'll just have to announce it to everyone. After taking one last bite, she sets down her fork and walks over toward the emperor.

"Saber," she says, grabbing her attention.

"Yes?" Nero stops eating and turns toward her Master and the soft-spoken brunette smiles.

"Everyone!" Hakuno-chan calls. "I have an announcement to make!"

"Eh!?" the emperor squeaks as she looks over at the rest, who draw their attention toward the couple.

"Saber and I have been together for a while now," Hakuno-chan says. "And I have thought about this a lot lately. But now, I think it's time."

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Nero raises an eyebrow in confusion.

The soft spoken brunette's smile never leaves her. She kneels down while gently taking her hand in hers, making the emperor blush.

"P-Praetor…!?" she gasps.

The other girls' eyes widen and lean in a bit closer.

"Saber…from the time I first met you and after spending enough time with you," Hakuno-chan says. "I think it's high time to ask you this: Nero Claudius…will you marry me?"

Nero cups a hand to her mouth as tears prickle in her eyes. "Oh…oh, Praetor…yes! Yes! YES! Umu~! A thousand times yes!" She plunges herself in her Master's arms, crying happily.

The other girls cheer in excitement.

"It's about time the little squirrel and emperor thought about tying the knot," Elizabeth says.

"I wish you both happiness," Altera says.

"Y-yeah…what she said," Tamamo mutters.

The dragon girl approaches them with a hand on her hip. "So now that you two will hold an official wedding, what are you going to do?"

"I will have my tailors sew the best wedding outfit," Nero says. "And one for my dear Praetor as well. And we're going to hold it here, at my palace."

"A wise choice," Elizabeth says. "And I will hold a special concert just for you two. Don't worry, I'm sure my songs will be perfect."

"Good luck with that." Hakuno-chan and Nero chorus.

From that day on, everyone pitches in to help them prepare for the wedding. The tailors sew Nero her wedding outfit, which is a simple all white suit with a bridal veil on her head and in the back are long white frills that sway gracefully at every movement. Hakuno-chan's wedding outfit is a long, white wedding gown, complete with wedding lingerie underneath. Nero is happy with her choice of attire and so is the brunette. In a couple months, they will hold the official wedding, but for now, Nero and Hakuno-chan will enjoy their days as an engaged couple.

A week later, after doing various battles and doing some work, Hakuno-chan and Nero sit in the emperor's chambers, resting. Just then, there is a knock on the door and Nero turns toward it.

"Come in!" she calls.

The door opens and Altera walks in. She has a troubled expression on her face, making Hakuno worry a bit.

"Is something the matter?" she asks.

"Y-you two might…wanna see this," the quiet tanned girl says.

"Huh?" Nero and Hakuno-chan exchange confused looks and then follow Altera to the throne room.

Hakuno-chan pulls up the screen and expands it a little for everyone to see. Altera pushes a few buttons until she pushes a link that says, "BB Channel".

"People have been going to this site for some reason," Altera says. "This girl…BB-san? She has been getting many views and likes because she claims she wants to make everyone's dreams come true."

She plays the video.

A violet haired girl dressed in black and white clothing spins around and waves a magic wand.

"BB…Channel~!" the girl cheers. "Hello, hello to you all! My name is BB! And this is where all of your dreams come true! Ask me anything and I will gladly grant your wish! Anything you desire will be at the palm of your hand~!"

Hakuno-chan furrows her eyebrows, leaning closer a few inches.

"Later, my lovely friends! BB signing off and look forward to more! Hehe!" The girl strikes a pose, putting two fingers in front of her face and winking.

"I'm….going to be quite frank with you…" Altera says. "She gives me…a very weird vibe. Like she can't be trusted or something."

"Umu. You may be right," Nero says. "What if it's all a trap and she wants to keep those people prisoner? What do you think, Praetor?" She notices that Hakuno-chan is just staring at the screen with the still shot of BB posing. "Um…Master?"

"I…" Hakuno-chan says softly. "I don't know about you girls but…she looks…very, very familiar."

"Do you know this BB character?" Nero asks.

"The name is totally new to me," Hakuno-chan says. "But that girl herself…she looks exactly like the one I used to know. She'd go to me every time she has troubles with her older brother and such."

"Oh, yeah, that girl," Nero says, putting a finger to her chin. "Now that I think about it, she hasn't contacted you for about a week and half, has she? No calls or texts or even video chats."

"I know…it's strange, isn't it?" Hakuno-chan says, rubbing her chin in thought. "Whoever this BB girl is, I want some answers."
