When I turned to face a stranger with a Mega Charizard. My entire team had been wiped out, "now it's time to finish the job… Charizard end him with a Flamethrower!" I jumped out of my sleep, it was just a dream. I started relaxing again while Snowy turned and looked me in the eyes, "Davaid, did you have a nightmare?" I nodded, she laid her head on my face and hugged me, "there is no need to be scared, no matter what I will keep you safe," she raised her head, "and nothing will stop me from keeping you safe."

I got up and stretched, I yawned, then looked down. Davaid was entangled in Snowy's legs and tails, "hey Ruby, I see you're up early," I put my paw on Davaid, "what's wrong with him?" the Ninetales shrugged, "I guess he had a bad dream, which he confirmed for me," I walked over to him then pawed him, "I'm surprised he's this old and gets scared by dreams," I said while I rubbed his back, "you do need to keep in mind that he still is a child," Davaid rolled over when I kept pawing him.

"Hey Ruby…" he reached out and placed his hand on my snout, I laid down so I was at level with him. Snowy let go of him, so he could get closer to me. He pulled me in for a hug, Davaid seemed fine now, "Snowy, what'd you do to calm him down that fast?" she shrugged, "you have no idea how much I had calm him down when he was a baby, or how much just being hugged can calm down a human," Davaid patted the side of my chest, "good morning girl!" he whispered. Eventually everyone else woke up, then he got up to make sure we got a good meal.

I set everyone's breakfast in front of them, but as usual I kept a plate ready for Rexy, who was still too big to fit in any hotel room, but could easily fit in and Pokemon Center Lobby. I sat down next to Volpsei, "good mornin' boy," I placed my hand on top of his head while he ate, "morning Davaid!" he climbed up onto my lap, then continued eating from there. This cute little Ninetales had already won me over, I wrapped my arms around his neck, then laid my head on top of his while he chewed away at his food.

Davaid started hugging me while I laid in his lap and ate. After I took a bite of the final bit of food in my bowl, then rolled over in his lap, I pawed at his face, trying to get him to rub my belly, which he gladly did, "so buddy, how are you feeling today?" he asked, "I'm feeling good!" Davaid started smiling, "that's good, that's good…" I licked his face a couple of times. I knew why he asked that, since I was pinned down yesterday, I was still too young to be able to take a hit well, and we both knew that. He patted me on the head, "alright guys, is everyone finished?"

Everyone nodded to my question, Volpsei got up from my lap and started walking around. He definietly recovered from yesterday. I grabbed Rexy's plate, before putting away everyone else's dishes into my bag. I'm gonna have to clean them when I find a river later, most of them was getting pretty dirty, and my Pokemon deserved more than a dirty bowl, "Davaid, it's fine, none of us have gotten sick because our food accidentally got mixed in with the previous night's leftovers," saud Snowy. I took out on of their bowls, "I know," I patted her back, "guess I can't help myself, plus I haven't cleaned these bowls in awhile, so I might as well, right?"

Davaid called Oasis and Axl back into their Pokeballs, put on his hat and shoes, then walked over to the door. As always I walked up close to him, "heya RUby," he knelt down, then started scratching my cheeks, which made me sleepy again. He quickly jumped like he almost forgot something, rushed towards the kitchen, and grabbed Rexy's plate. He opened the door, then the four of us started walking out into the Pokemon Center's hotel-like-hallway.

I was let out of my Pokeball once more, this was the problem with being so big, and that it was awkward to have me anywhere. Davaid held out a plate for me like usual, "morning Rexy," he greeted while I ate away. He scratched my head while I ate, my tail wagged like I was a Growlith getting all the attention one could ever want, and I licked his face constantly after I had finished, "was that enough food for ya pal?" he tilted his head. I nodded, he grinned then did his best to hold my giant head on his lap. Eventually I nudged him to just put me back in my Pokeball, which he reluctantly did.

I sighed, I hated putting my Pokemon in their Pokeballs, but they would take up a lot of space on a sidewalk, or a road if I was travelling with anyone. Maybe after we get out of this city, which I'd love to, just to avoid that weirdo and his Houndoom, I'll let everyone travel without being inside the ball.i started scratching Ruby's cheeks to make her tired again, then picked her up. Seeing just how much larger every Houndoom I've met in comparison to her started to show more after we entered the city.

That didn't bother me in the slightest, she was still my sweet little girl, and I loved her to death, "hi Ruby," I said with my "baby voice" while I rubbed her belly. I often don't talk like that to any of my Pokemon; it makes it seem like I don't see them as smart, sentient beings. However, I do talk to them like that if they're sleepy, being plain cute, or if I'm talking to Volpsei while he's doing both at the same time.

We stepped out of the Pokemon Center, "alright guys, let's try getting out of here asap! I don't wanna run into that trainer from yesterday," that was something we all could agree on. I started using my telekinesis to scan our surroundings while Davaid made sure we weren't heading to the same City Exit we entered from, "hey buddy, you want to take me up on my offer?" said the very person we were trying to avoid, I quickly filled his mouth with a chunk of dirt, and we kept on walking.

I eyed this trainer while he was making his way towards the outskirts of the city, "Zacian, are you sure you still want to travel with a human?" she nodded, "of course I would, it'll be something different other than just sitting around waiting for somebody to need our help," I sighed, there really was no way of talking her out of this. I placed my paw on her back, "just be careful with him, you never know what schemes humans are always cooking up," the trainer Zacian had talked about just got out of the city. Just like that, she jumped up and off our cliff to go meet him.

I nearly dropped Ruby when something landed in front of me like a shooting star, "greetings, Davaid, we meet again," it was ZAcian!" Ruby jumped out of my arms, "yo, do you need something again… or are you here just because you want to experiment something?" I was hoping I didn't sound rude, "I wish to travel with you."

"I wish to travel with you," I said and it was done and dusted. He just looked at me like I was crazy, "so, what are you waiting for? Throw one of your Pokeballs at me," that made Davaid's expression go from a "are you crazy?" face to a "did I wake up wrong" expression. I giggled, "well?" he shrugged, "alright then… here goes nothing," he tossed a Pokeball which lightly bounced off my head, and I was sucked inside. It was completely pitch dark in the Pokeball at first, then I heard a ding, and a beach like environment sprung into existence.

I sent Rexy back to Sycamore's lab, he was hardly out anyways, and Sycamore would make sure he'd get the exercise he needed. Now I had Zacian in my possession, it didn't feel right, "alright…" I tossed the GS Ball, which was really just a golden, upgraded Ultra Ball the CEO gave me, and out she came, "I guess I am your Pokemon for the time being, I will follow any order you give me during this period," I nodded, "alright then, wait up, you look a bit different," Zacian was covered in scars, "I'm just not in my Crowned Sword form, this is what I usually look like if I'm not battling."

Davaid walked up to me, then place a hand on my head, "you must've been through hell and then some," he started to pet me, "you should see my enemies, they;re fairing worst than I am," I grinned, then immediately relaxed when Davaid the back of my head, so this is why his Pokemon liked him. He was just a scratch machine to get at anything that itched at them, or they just genuinely liked him. Either way, I could tell I would enjoy my time travelling with this boy for a while.

Before I forgot, I took out Axl and Oasis's Pokeballs, then let them out, "heys you two, meet Zacian, she'll be traveling with us… until I don't know how long, she's pretty cool," I picked Ruby back off the ground, "I guess to wherever this road will take us we go!" I lifted a finger to point down the road, then marched forward. Zacian nudged me, then licked my face, "that's for being concerned about what happened to me in the past," she said before walking ahead.
