Chizzzz gettting duped!

It was a busy day at KP's Tokyo Headquarters.

The place was crawling with CIA agents… not because KP was being investigated (thank god) but because the CIA Director's beloved daughter had been flown in this afternoon with a severe lumbar injury which threatened to paralyze her from the waist down. Luckily (thanks to the tip from the fourth elder) Chizuru had all the necessary instruments prepared, and had even invited the leading spinal expert to come for a speech that day. According to the immensely relieved CIA Director - it was a 'miraculous coincidence'.

Coincidence indeed…

In any case, Curry and Akria had been asked to put their current projects temporarily on hold to fix the teenage parapalegic, and the reports were coming back positive. It'd take a couple of days to grow a couple of nerves for her - then they'd be connected back… and viola! The CIA Director's daughter would be walking again, and now the man in question owed Chizuru Kagura a favor of massive proportions.

And the best thing was the Yagami Clan was footing the bill in exchange for a small favour in the coming future. Chizuru felt immensely satisfied with herself as she relaxed into her office chair and (after spending an hour typing out a few carefully crafted emails) looked out over the great burgeoning city of Tokyo with great contentment. She picked up her tea and-

*Brrrrrrr*

...and her 'important' phone went off. Private number. Another headache… but that was okay. Powerful positions. Powerful people. Powerful headaches.

With a sigh, she placed her cup down and answered.

"This is Kagura."

*... Kagura, this is Geese Howard.*

Chizuru frowned. Did Yagami do a shoddy job disposing of the evidence? Iori wasn't a lot of things… but he was very good at destroying evidence. Yagami flames reduced everything into unreadable ash… the thing was - Chizuru couldn't even ask her hellhound about it. She had remotely wiped the incident from his memory as soon as he completed the task… I heard he was going on about aliens for a bit afterwards… well, it'll pass…

Well, in any case, Geese didn't sound particularly angry… or at least, not angry at her. She put on a smile to make her cheerful voice sound more authentic.

"Mr. Howard...How can I help you? I trust Ya-"

*Information, Kagura. I need to know something. Tell me your price.*

She was interrupted. Per usual, Geese cut out the pleasantries and got straight to the point. Chizuru's smile twitched. She didn't like interacting with Geese very much. Concerning wiliness, he was Heidern's equal, and that made him dangerous. Thankfully - unlike that bastard Heidern - Geese didn't typically cause her any trouble. Primarily because their businesses almost never overlapped. A relief to be sure.

"Information?... my price depends on what you need to know. Ask."

A pause over the line. The formidable man was surely carefully wording his question to give as little information as possible. Standard practice. Chizuru could almost see him knitting his brows together. After a moment:

*Rock Howard, are you familiar with him?*

"To a certain extent."

Another pause.

*Good. Somehow that boy has sourced somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 Million dollars. I wish for your -opinion- as to where he might have found such funding.*

Chizuru pondered for a moment, then snorted. Why would Geese be interested in somebody else's funding? And especially funding of such little value… He wouldn't even bat an eye if that amount were stolen from him. Perhaps… ohh, does the Daddy Goose have a soft spot for his son after all?

"That boy? Why are you interested? He hates his dear father, I can tell you that… but otherwise has no criminal intent… I can't imagine he's setting up shop to compete with you - or otherwise follow your noble career choice. Chances are - he wanted to buy a yacht… or some ridiculous sports car. Nothing to it, Mr. Howard."

Geese acted like he hadn't heard a single one of Chizuru's inflammatory words. His voice was low and snipped. She could barely hear annoyance in his tone. Truly professional.

*My offer is 10 Million dollars. Give me your opinion, and I'll wire the funds to your numbered account. Confirm: 1115550012*

Chizuru blinked. Perhaps Geese really did care about his son after all. He probably wouldn't be happy that Iori had lent the boy some ridiculous sum of money to buy some stupid space ship, but otherwise the information had little consequence. Not to her. Not to anyone. (Probably).

And who said no to 10 Million dollars?

"UBS Group. Number Confirmed… I'll call you back with the name once I see the money."

*Very Good Kagura.*

Yag's in trouble.

Chiz is vaguely aware that Geese is dealing with the police again - but doesn't know the deatils. Nobody knows about the Kain thing, because it literally happened an hour ago - and Geese is careful to keep information from travelling too far.

Geese got report that Rock was seen running with Heinlein's group. He's found the money.
