I walked ahead of Davaid with no real destination, I was now his Pokemon, "hey Zacian," Davaid had managed to get ahead of me, and was walking backwards, "you're going to trip if you keep walking like that," Davaid spun around, then started walking by my side. I looked down to his knees to see Ruby trotting alongside him, "you love being by him don't you?" the Houndoom nodded, then rubbed her head against his leg to further prove her point. Davaid stopped for a second after Ruby did that, then started carrying her like she was a baby. Volpsei and Snowy ran ahead while playing tag, "I thought Ninetales weren't hyperactive."
David's team was a bunch of weirdos for sure, but I was now a part of it, so I guess I'm a weirdo now. I nudged him with my head, "yea Zacian?" he hadn't given me a nickname or anything like that. He probably thought that a legendary didn't need a nickname. I licked his face again, "you know… I never expected that I'd want your attention while travelling with you," Davaid put Ruby on the ground for a few minutes while we stopped, and then he started petting me. After some of the only things I felt touch me, were attacks or were aimed to hurt me, petting felt very relaxing.
Zacian was probably one of the weirdest Pokemon I've met, she wanted attention like a Growlithe, but acted like an adult who ran some big buisness. I started petting her on the head, then she pushed me over, and laid in my lap. She was just like a Growlithe or very young Poochyena, "Zacian, you're huge, and you're crushing my lap!" I wasn't lying either, she was big and heavy. Zacian got up off my lap, "sorry Davaid," I got up then started petting her again, "you act like a baby Growlithe," which elicited a growl out of her, so I quickly dropped that conversation, and walked over to Ruby.
Davaid picked me back up off the ground, then started rubbing my cheek. After Zacian growled at him he started being quiet. I licked his face while he kept walking, "Zacian, why did you growl at him?" she shrugged, "he said I acted like a baby Growlithe," I rolled my eyes. Snowy pawed her, "you were acting like a pup a few moments ago," we just kept on walking, then I finally looked up, ahead of us was Ash's group, then Davaid saw a fork in the road, and took the path they didn't take, "I don't wanna feel like I'm following him around…"
Mom successfully pinned me down while we played at our campsite, "I win!" I squirmed around, then set my focus on her paws. Suddenly she tripped over, and then I jumped on her, "now I win!" she started staring at me in shock. Mom put her paw on my shoulder, "Volpsei… you just figured out how to use telekinesis!" she then wrapped her fore legs around my neck, "you're learning fast," he started yipping, then used his new found power to steal Davaid's sun hat again, then started chewing on it. I rolled my eyes, then noticed that he was cleaning Zacian's sword. I padded on over then sat down.
I watched intently while Davaid snatched my sword, "what are you doing?" he didn't answer me, I was about to pounce, but then he pulled out a cloth, "I was just gonna clean it," Snowy sat down on his side while he focused on cleaning the dirt off of my weapon. He was doing a decent job at it, "heya Snowy," he finally noticed the Ninetales on his side, and he handed me my sword before turning his focus onto Snowy. I envied the attention she was receiving, after I growled at Davaid, he started keeping his distance. I settled my sword on the ground, then crawled over to him. Davaid laid his head in Snowy's fur; he was relaxed with her in his arms. I knew he probably trusted this Pokemon with his life.
While I held Snowy in my arms, I took out my Holo Caster, hit the power button, then switched it to the news. I stretched, "hey Zacian c'mere," I wanted to see if Zacian was angry or not about me comparing how she acted to a Grolwithe, "yes Davaid?" Zacian sat next to me. I reached over to scratch her shoulder, which made her lay down, and place her head on my shoulder. If it weren't for Snowy laying in my lap, Zacian would've jumped on my lap again, and completely crush it again.
I'm genuinely surprised at how Davaid wanted me near him for one, I figured after I growled at him, he wouldn't want me to travail with him. He just kept petting my head, which was making me relax, "this is an urgent announcement!" Davaid quickly stopped and turned to the hologram, "there is a rogue Pokemon going around on Route 15 going around and demolishing trainer's teams without hesitation!" I could hear Davaid's brain start kicking up, "Snowy, you can detect where people and Pokemon are with telepathy right?"
I nodded, "of course I can, but I can't do it all the time," Davaid patted me on the head, "that's fine, I just want you to check where each one is every now and then, if one is approaching our camp at full speed, let me know," I jumped out of his lap so Davaid can get Volpsei closer to the heart of the camp.
I sat down in front of Ruby, then brandished my Mega Ring, "ready to kick this thing's ass if it shows up?" the Houndoom barked, then climbed up onto my lap. I chuckled while giving her my full attention, I took out my GPS then checked our location… right in the middle of Route 15, "looks like I'll stay up and keep watch," I wasn't completely scared of what this Pokemon could do, I had Snowy with me! Now Zacian was here too, but this thing could easily put Volpsei, Axl, or Oasis into the Emergency Room if we weren't prepared.
It was late at night, roughly 11:00PM… I was still awake making sure this thing didn't jump out randomly. I was using Zacian as a giant pillow while I sat around. Snowy's head snapped in a certain direction, "there's a Charizard charging right for us," she told me. I got up then nudged Zacian, and tried waking up Ruby. she had been awake the entire time as well, "alright guys, let's hope this Charizard isn't magically the strongest thing on earth."
I turned into my Crowned Sword form the moment Davaid got up, I kept my focus on the tree line, and out came a fairly decently sized Charizard. It roared, then took one step forward, "you better turn back now, or there will be hell to pay," calmly said Snowy. That Ninetales almost felt like she never took anything seriously, "what are you going to do? Hit me with an Ice Shard?" it grinned while Davaid stepped forward.
"Heya bud, we don't wanna fight," I took another step towards it, this Charizard looked like it was covered in scratches and scrapes. I raised my hands, then was only a few feet in front of it. I knew exactly how risky this was, as I got closer it charged up a Metal Claw, and I reached out to pet it. Snowy pulled me towards her with telekinesis, and I narrowly avoided getting cut in half. I sighed, "hey Snowy, lemme try it again," she looked at me like I was crazy.
"Davaid, you're going to get yourself killed if you keep trying that approach. Not all people are going to sit down and negotiate," I held him back with my tails. Charizard shot a flamethrower at us, which Zacian cut in half with her sword. Davaid then got loose from my tails then sighed, "I guess we'll knock it out then," he tapped his Keystone then raised his fist in the air. Ruby stepped forward as a Mega Houndoom, "ready girl?"
I was pissed the hell off, Davaid gave this thing the benefit of the doubt, and nearly got killed for it. I felt the flame in my body kicking up to the point of it hurting, "alright Ruby, hit it with a Dark Pulse," I poured as much anger as I could and a bit of fire into the attack, I'm making sure this Charizard gets a concussion, but it charged forward. That just made my life easier, I shot the Dark Pulse and immediately knocked it out.
I knelt down and started petting Ruby, "nice work girl," I hugged her, then got up to check on the downed Charizard. It was out cold, "well, I guess we should tie it up right?" I reached over for my bag and pulled out some rope, then got to work. Not too long after we had tied it down, the Charizard was conscious again, I kept Ruby in my lap while I pulled out my phone to call the police. I looked over at the Charizard, it looked miserable in the rope, "hey Ruby, can you get up for a sec?" she nodded, then I walked on over to the down Fire Type.
I sat down next to it, then set my hand on its head, "heya buddy," Snowy sat down next to me, probably to knock it out if it tried anything. He made a noise at me, "he said get your hands off me, and set me free," said Snowy. I wrapped my arms around her, then called Ruby over to me. Volpsei also helped himself over, then cuddled up on Snowy's side. I reached over to the Charizard again, then it growled, "welp, any moment now, the Police should be here…" I still patted the Charizard's head to calm him down a bit.
I stared at this human while he rubbed my head, I had tried killing him moments earlier, yet he still thought petting me was a good idea? I let out a deep breath, then watched as the Houndoom licked her trainer's face. I growled at them, "you're not in the position to threaten him," said the Ninetales, "if you manage to get out of those ropes, and try something… I will kill you slowly and painfully," her calm demeanor made her threat even scarier. I slowly retracted back, then started remaining quiet from that point on.
Sorry for not updating this story yesterday, I'm trying not to get burnt out, so I'm taking my time with these chapters to prevent that.
