Break Up

Chapter 18

One Week Later

John and Kourtney were pulling up to the rehab center both kinda nervous to see Dolph and Nikki. Kourtney had been nervous the night before and had barely slept any, John had promised her a relaxing night after they got back to the house. They had flown into Tampa the night before and were spending two weeks at the house and getting it ready for the summer. They were thinking about spending it down there with Skylar.

John walked around and helped Kourtney out and held her close and kissed her forehead. "We will get through this together honey. I love you."

"I love you too Johnny and yes we will get through this together." Kourtney said. John laced their fingers together and walked with her to the front door.

After the couple had checked in they were shown to a private sitting room and Kourtney was looking out the window. She couldn't get over the view as it was breathtaking. John wrapped his arms around her and held her close.

Tami walked to find Dolph and Nikki and told them that they had visitors in the dayroom and it was closed for the day. Dolph held out his hand to help Nikki up. The two were kinda confused why they had visitors as no one had said they were coming out to see them both had visits over the last few days from Brie and Bryan and Birdie and also JJ and his wife Lauren and her mom and Dolph's parents. While Dolph's parents were there and were starting to accept that Nikki was now his wife and after talking a bit longer they realized that it wasn't just Nikki who did all of this in hurting John and Kourtney it was the both of them.

Kourtney laid her head on John's shoulder as they were now sitting on the couch. She had this feeling that this visit wouldn't go well she hoped it did. John brushed a kiss across her forehead and held her close telling her it would be okay.

Nikki stopped right before they reached the room she was nervous herself. Dolph wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "If it gets too much go back to our room and lay down and I will get the nurse to check you over babe and lay down with you. I love you sweetheart."

"I love you too Dolph and thank you." Nikki said and with that she opened up the door and was shocked it was Kourtney and John. "You two came thank you for not trying to press more charges against us."

Kourtney sent her a smile to make her feel at ease when she had a pit in her stomach and it was in knots. "Nikki we wouldn't press more charges. I'm not like that and neither is John."

Dolph helped Nikki sit down across from them on the other couch and put an arm around her shoulder. "We know it's been a long day. We want to say thank you for coming. We want to say we are sorry for all the pain and suffering we caused."

Kourtney looked up at John who just smiled at her. "It's been hard for me to accept that everyone had been out here and talked to you two. I couldn't gather why they would talk to the two people who tried to hurt us the most tried to kill me and my daughter. But after reading your letter and also listening to what you said to the others that you were truly sorry we had to come out and see you two for ourselves."

"We are happy you came. Yes we are both very sorry for what we did. It wasn't right you had something I didn't have and couldn't have anymore and I wanted it back. I would go to any steps to get it back." Nikki said "I dragged Dolph into helping me and during all of it we found love. Why we didn't stop I don't know."

"Nikki is right while we are very sorry for what all we did when we found love with each other. I don't know why we didn't stop. We are truly sorry and we are working on each other. While we don't deserve your forgiveness we hope that one day you can forgive us." Dolph said

Kourtney looked up at John who brushed a kiss across her forehead. "We can see that you two are truly sorry for what you did. I hope during all of this you are also finding yourselves again and while you can't leave just yet we can work on trying to be friends again."

"Nikki and I are working on finding us again. We know we can't leave just yet and we like being able to find someone else to talk to and we are working on our marriage as well. I love Nikki with everything I have in me. I'm truly sorry. We both are."

"Kourtney is right we can forgive and try to move on. Keep staying here for a while longer and keep working on yourselves and maybe we can see where things go." John said

"We can do that. Thank you again for reading the letter and also coming to see us." Dolph said

Kourtney was holding back a yawn and she could tell that Nikki was wearing down. "John can we go I'm not feeling really good."

"What is wrong honey?" John asked

"I didn't sleep much last night and my head is starting to hurt pretty bad." Kourtney said

"Sure hon. Sorry guys." John said as he stood up and helped Kourtney up, he could tell she was about to fall asleep. He also knew how bad her migraines could get and didn't want to have to go to the ER while they were here. "Let's get you home and resting."

"Go take care of her and maybe before you all leave we can talk again would that be okay?" Nikki asked

"We can do that." Kourtney said with a weak smile

"Do you want me to get the nurse here?" Dolph asked

"Go get her honey. Kourtney lay down on the couch. We will see what is going on." Nikki said as she sat down by Kourtney who had sat back down and laid her head back on the couch. John sat by her and rubbed her hand he could tell that she wasn't feeling good.

Dolph ran and got the nurse who checked Kourtney over gently and told John to take her to the ER as her pressure was pretty high. It wasn't long and Kourtney was seen and her pressure was high because of the stress and it was causing the build up pressure in her head causing a bad migraine. John soon had her tucked into bed and was laying down with her rubbing her back as she was sound asleep against his chest. The doctor in the ER was very kind and caring and treated Kourntey and told John to bring her back if the pain got worse.

The next few days passed quickly and John and Kourtney decided not to go back out to the rehab center but had talked to Nikki and Dolph over the phone. The two just wanted to quickly forget everything that was going on and head home to St Louis and be with their daughter who was the light of their lives.

The next few months passed quickly and Skylar was growing like a little weed and constantly full of smiles. She loved her daddy and momma. Sierra was in love with her baby cousin and loved to play with her and wanted to spend most of her time over at her Aunt Kourtney and Uncle John's house playing with Skylar. Stacey wasn't too far off from giving birth to her and Randy's son who they had named Ryker Keith Orton, his room was done in blues and greens and everyone was excited to meet him all but his big sister who wasn't so happy that she was getting a brother not a sister.

One Year Later…

The last few years had been kinda crazy for everyone, Dolph and Nikki were finally out of rehab and doing great in their marriage. While neither one of them were working in the WWE they were working in a rehab center in Arizona helping others with their addictions and other problems.

John and Kourtney were expecting the birth of their surprise, they had been on their honeymoon and a few weeks after getting home surprise they were having another baby. They decided not to find out and they couldn't wait for the newest arrival of the Cena household. Skylar was growing up quickly and was everywhere and John was loving the fact that he was home to watch her grow up and had a special bond with her and often had daddy daughter time so momma could find time for herself and not be so always on the go.

Randy and Stacey were thriving with two little ones in the house. Sierra had finally calmed down and no longer throwing the baby's clothes in the pool or trash can or out the window anymore and loved helping her momma and daddy out with the baby. Unless it was dirty diapers she was done with those and told her daddy to take the trash out often and not come back in if he didn't do it.
