Racing out of the Department of Mysteries Harry tensed as he heard footfalls coming his way… only to let out a sigh of relief when he saw just who they belonged to. "Ron!" He grinned as he saw Ron and Neville hurrying towards him, his good mood from seeing his friends alive and well so high that he didn't even feel any annoyance that Fudge was with them, huffing and puffing as he trotted just behind them. Harry began to dart forward only for them to hear yet ANOTHER set of feet rushing towards them and all of them tensed and turned only for the teens to let out sighs of relief as they saw Luna, Hermione, Ginny, and Snape hurrying from yet another one of the Elite 4 chambers.

"Oh thank Arceus!" Ginny exclaimed and within moments the teens collided into one another in a massive mess of limbs. They were grouped together, hugging each other out of relief, babbling all at once so that it was near impossible to tell who was saying what.

Off to the side Dumbledore and Snape clasped hands. "How did you fare?" the Headmaster asked.

"Well enough, though I fear the Elite 4 will not be happy with the damage we did."

Dumbledore chuckled at that. "My boy, believe me that they will be far more focused on our damage than they will be on yours."

"You damaged things?" Fudge complained, stomping forward and wiping his brow with a handkerchief he'd pulled from his suit pocket. "What did you break? It better not have been expensive! I don't care what is happening you can't just go destroying the Ministry, Dumbledore! Do you know how much-"

He stopped short.

Mostly because Jasmine had pressed one of her bracer blades against his throat.

"It is taking all my willpower to remember that it is Voldemort's fault that the aurors tried to lynch my da. Don't make it any harder by openin' your gob."

The Minister swallowed and tried to back up but Jasmine pressed a hand to the small of his back and forced him to remain in place, her enhanced strength thanks to the Long Talk she'd undergone making her arm feel like a steel beam against the bloated politican's spine.

"You… are can't do this… you are already in a world of trouble-"

"Exactly," Jasmine purred. "I invaded a foreign ministry, I destroyed a ton of priceless items, I broke the laws of physics by become a giantess briefly, and oh yeah I literally murdered some Nocturne Agents by stepping on them." She let her mask shatter and Fudge's eyes went wide as Jasmine's eyes blazed, Sharkpedo-like teeth gleaming as her enhanced form loomed over him. "What else do I have to lose by killing a pathetic little man like you?"

Fudge whimpered and Jasmine made a quick batting motion with her hand, easily stopping the tip of her blade from piercing his throat. It was enough though to cause Fudge to faint.

"Pillock," she muttered.

"What that necessary?" Dumbledore asked.

Snape though merely furrowed his brow. "Giantess?"

"Yeah, that was intense. And no, Dumbledore, it wasn't. But it made me feel better." She looked over at her boyfriend and his friends. "We give them a few more moments and then we move. Voldemort will send more of his men after us when the ones we took down don't report back in. Still… give the kids a minute."

"To the two of us you are a child as well, Miss Kenway," Snape stated.

Jasmine merely shook her head. "I haven't been a child since I was seven years old."

As the professors and the Princess of Johto spoke Ron had other thoughts on his mind as he pulled away from his best mate and held up a hand, pressing it against his own head. "Okay, did I shrink mate or are you taller?" He moved his hand from his head to Harry's. For at least two years now, ever since he'd hit a massive growth spurt just before 4th year, Ron had had a few inches on Harry. Not a lot, as life with Remus had undone some of the malnutrition Harry had suffered thanks to the Durselys, but still he had been the tallest member of the Pride. Now Harry was able to look him in the eye with ease.

"You didn't shrink," Harry said with a smirk.

"And you aren't wearing your glasses," Ginny pointed out and Harry realized she was right, putting them back on and activating the Dex data feed. But he didn't actually need them, he realized, and he quietly glanced at a button he'd never thought he'd ever need and told the glasses to turn off the vision-correcting lenses, so that all he had going was the dex feed.

"I am more interested in the fact that Hedwig evolved," Hermione stated, pointing to the Noctowl who was settled off to the side with a limping Leon (the Leafeon having twisted his rear left ankle during the battle and only now realized how much it ached). "Does that mean you can't Magnus with her anymore?"

"No, I can Magnus with her," Harry stated. "It's… complicated."

"Make it uncomplicated," Ginny stated with a huff.

"I'm taller because Jasmine and I flew into a Dynamax-infused cloud and thanks to our Pokemon DNA from Speaking that caused us to grow to 50 feet briefly. When we shrank back down we found that we were taller and more fit. Hedwig and I also used this-" he held up the ring he was wearing on the middle finger of his left hand, "-to unlock the next stage of Pokemagnus Evolution, allowing her to evolve and when we merge she goes through Mega Evolution."

"…a bit more complicated," Ginny stated.

"So almost as crazy as our little trek," Hermione stated.

"What happened to you?" Neville asked.

Hermione looked over at Luna, who had been oddly quiet when the group had gotten back together. In fact she seemed to all that hadn't been with her, Ginny, and Hermione to be utterly serene. "I used my psychic abilities to help Luna master her Veela Powers."

"I've reached a new plane of power and enlightenment," Luna said, her voice lyrical and ageless. She circled the group, her movements graceful and flowing like quicksilver. It was like seeing a ballerina in her prime fused with a regal queen. "I am now the Mistress of Veela, in full control of my powers and myself. It has allowed me to see the world in a new way and thus present myself to all living creatures in a way befitting one of my standing." She looked at them for a moment, the lightest of smiles gracing her lips as she said with her angelic voice, "And as my first act I am going to revert to my normal self because even with all this power I love being me." She raised a hand, green energy swirling from it and pooling around her head… before her eyes spun like the wheels on a slot machine and a huge grin snapped onto her face. "I'M BACK BITCHES! HAMILTON POSE!" Luna exclaimed, thrusting a hand into the air, pointing at the sky.

"…well, that just seems normal for her," Ron stated dryly.

"Don't worry, I can pull out the Elven Queen bit when I need to," Luna said cheerily. Her eyes flashed green and once more she was calm and collected. "But you are my friends so you get the me that I like being." She looked at Harry as she reverted to her normal Luna-self. "So, Veela have Pokemon DNA too so mind pointing me to that Dynamax cloud?"

"NO!" Ginny screamed. "Do NOT let Luna grow huge!"

Harry considered what would happen if Luna was 50 feet tall and shuddered. "Don't worry, it dissipated."

"Darn it!" Luna complained while Harry mentally decided NOT to tell his friends about Jasmine's Wishing Star stash. She turned to Ron and Neville. "So what did you two do? Gain the ability to shoot lasers out of your eyes? Create an army of ninja robots?"

"…I yelled at Fudge?" Neville said weakly.

Harry considered that. "That might actually beat out growing 50 feet." There was an explosion off in the distance. "Okay, catch up later, get the hell out of here now!"

"Follow me!" Dumbledore called out, Leon wrapping some vines around Fudge and dragging him along with them as they raced towards a doorway none of them had been through yet. "This should lead to a teleporter that will get us to the exit-"

They'd all made it into the room only to collide with the teacher's back, falling in a heap. Harry groaned and got up only to see that were decidedly NOT near a teleporter. Instead they found themselves in a large area, with stadium seating all around them that reminded Harry a bit of the Battle Class seating when their professor was going through the ins and outs of a tournament battle, only three times the size. But rather than the sandy ground that was at Hogwart's classroom the area was instead asphalt. Looking about he saw shops and buildings with window displays hawking all sorts of new products one could buy. There were benches and street lights and even a crosswalk. Sniffing he swore he could even smell the mixture of gasoline, smoke, baked goods, and grilled meats that one commonly found on any street corner in one of Avalon's more tourist-heavy towns. Taking a few steps forward he was startled when the silence was broken by the sound of traffic and people chatting to in the distance and general signs of life. Life… save for the people.

"Did… did we teleport?" Ginny said, looking about and rubbing her head.

"No, we didn't," Snape said, swiveling his head about. "Though I admit I find all of this rather disconcerting." He looked at news scrawl above them and was surprised to find it covering events that had happened just that day, that he had heard via the Holocast.

"We are in Madame Bones' arena," Dumbledore said with a frown, hand reaching up to stroke his long white beard. "It appears they've moved the exit since I last visited the Ministry."

"What is the purpose of all this?" Ron asked. "Other than being super creepy." He opened a door and was startled to find that it actually opened and within there was what appeared to be a candy shop, complete with glass jars filled with gumballs and other treats.

Jasmine spoke up, walking towards one of the shops, eyes wide. "This is brilliant!" she said, her tone showing how impressed she was. When the others glanced at her she held her arms out wide. "The Elite 4 have more jobs to do than just battle occasionally with trainers! And these arenas, while impressive during those battles, end up being just big wastes of space when they are waiting for the next challenger to appear! So what does Madame Bones do? She uses it to her advantage! Makes something worthwhile out of it!" She looked at the others and saw the teens weren't getting it. "Guys… this is a training room for Aurors!"

"It is?" Hermione asked.

Harry blinked as he took in all he was seeing with that new bit of information… and suddenly everything clicked into place. "Of course… what better way to get trainees used to fighting in an urban environment than to actually create one!"

"Very good Mister Potter," Dumbledore stated. "That is-"

Doors high above them in the seating area exploded off their hinges and the large group tensed as Nocturne Agents swarmed in, sending out their Pokemon. Harry and his friends all prepared to send out their Pokemon only for Voldemort, identifiable only because of his nicer robe with golden trim, appeared and sent out an glowering Heliolisk who fired off a shot of lightning that split the moment it arced towards the ground and exploded all around them, tearing up the asphalt and forcing the group to scatter, most of Harry's friends managing to make it to one of several fake buildings with only Harry himself and Dumbledore cut off from escape. Even Leon and Hedwig ended up in what was supposed to be a bus terminal but the two, sharing a look, moved to charge out, not wanting to hide while their trainer fought. So they moved as one towards the door-

-only to hit a force field.

"What the hell?" Hedwig complained, rubbing her head. "What was-" She turned and saw Fudge standing next to a panel, having come too at some point. "What did you do?"

"Don't you talk back to me! I am the Prime Minister and you… you are a Pokemon!" Hedwig narrowed her eyes and stalked forward and Fudge quickly lost all his bluster and threw his arms out. "I'm saving us! I'm saving us!"

"Explain!" Leon barked.

"One of the training exercises Amelia came up with was a detail of Aurors protecting me from kidnappers!" Fudge hurriedly exclaimed. "I was willing to help-" Hedwig coughed out, "Bullshit!", "-but I needed to ensure I was protected. Thus once they got me into one of these buildings I was given a code I could put into a panel and that would create energy fields all around the buildings. The Aurors could practice their battling and I would be safe to watch." He puffed up a little bit with pleasure over his quick thinking. "I just saved us all."

"Harry is out there facing a madman that wants to wear him as a flesh suit, you idiot!" Hedwig snapped. "Let us out now!"

"I… no! No I will not! It is clear that I am the one Voldemort wants so I will remain here. Harry and Albus will do their parts to protect me and if they should die-"

Leon's tail flashed and he turned it into a Leaf Blade. "He dies, you die!" Leon snarled.

"They'll… they'll put you down!" Fudge whimpered.

"I don't have a life worth living if I lose Harry."

"I… I won't!" Fudge exclaimed. "I won't turn off the shield! The Aurors are coming and I will not do a thing till they show up! And… and I will have you put down for threatening me!"

For once Hedwig was the one talking of calm and patience. "Leave him be… he isn't worth it right now. We need to figure out how to get out of here."

Their trainer was currently watching as the Nocturne Agents and Admins practically salivated at the chance to take him and the headmaster down. The low level ones were dreaming of how this would shift them to the highest reaches of power. All it would take is a command. He wondered if any of them would remember that Voldemort wanted him alive, to serve as his new host body, and killing him would only enrage the man. If he thought that it would end the Spiritomb's reign of terror forever Harry might have jumped right in front of any of those blasts, giving up his life to save his friends. As for the Admins they remembered what was at stake but that didn't mean they weren't still going to jockey for position. He spotted Regulus Black arguing with a woman with dark frizzy hair that looked a bit like an older Hermione… assuming Hermione went emo goth, starved herself for a few weeks, and decided to take the strongest mind-altering drugs she could get her hands on. Bellatrix Lestrange… he'd looked up Sirius' cousin after Neville had told him about her and he knew that she was a dangerous piece of work. Lucius Malfoy was standing towards the top, playing it careful and making Harry suspect that the man had been cuckold and Draco wasn't actually his son. Though Harry would have also thought the death of his wife would motivate the man to seek out revenge but apparently Malfoy was too cold for that.

'No Greyback but I'm not surprised… according to Jack this kind of thing wouldn't be his style anyway.' The mercenary, according to Jack, preferred to either do things on his own or have full lead. Having to work with the Admins would not be something he'd enjoy doing.

"We certainly appear to be in a dangerous spot," Dumbledore said softly, looking about. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a hair band and began to play with it. "Be on your guard, Harry."

"I already am," Harry said, the servos in his robotic hand already whirling as he brought up his dex and began to decide who he would send out first. Team Nocturne was still arguing with themselves, a few of the lower level grunts actually yelling at each other as they fought over who had the right to face him. He could see that several of the Admins that he had yet to meet were having a difficult time keeping order… especially when the likes of Bellatrix were just as eager to begin the fight. "But Headmaster, you should know… when I was training I was warned about one place I should never let myself end up in. It's known as a Kill Box. And that is exactly where we are now."

"Then let us hope we can remove ourselves from it soon. Oh?" The Headmaster looked up and Harry did the same, finally noticing that all of Team Nocturne had grown silent. Their feuding dissipated, their arguments were forgotten, and all bowed their heads as the source of this quiet made himself known.

Voldemort had decided to make himself known to them all.

"How poetic that we find the three of us all here at this moment," the robed figure said, never once making a move to remove his mask. His minions quickly shuffled down the rows of seats so their master had a clear path to the railing that ringed the arena. "Dumbledore… Avalon's past. A reminder of simpler times and simpler dreams. And Harry Potter… the future of Avalon. Brash and frightening now but with time becoming more defined and refined."

"And let me guess," Harry said with a snort, cutting the bastard off, "you are the present? What Avalon is now? Cloaked and hidden but waiting to reveal its ugly face."

"Someone has grown bitter," Voldemort said smoothly, tauntingly. "It isn't a good look on you, Harry." He reached a small panel that stood in place of a few seats and touched a few buttons before gracefully leaping over the rail, his Yamask extending its tendrils to slow his descent and allow him to be lowered softly to the arena floor just as another barrier, similar to the ones that had gone up around the buildings, activated. That meant the Nocturne Agents were stuck in the seats, leaving only the three of them in the arena unhindered. "And no, I am not the Present. That is thinking far too small. I am EVERYTHING. Past, Present, and Future." Harry could hear the smirk in his words. "Do you know what I've seen? Secrets lost to the ages… waiting to be revealed. I am not greedy… I'll give them to you. And if you want more? Your friends lives? I'll give them to you right now. Accept me into you and I will allow them to live long and happy lives where they want for nothing."

Harry chuckled at that. "Bullshit."

"I do not lie."

"Yeah, but I know my friends. They will avenge me. Which means you'd have to defend yourself to keep your promise."

There was a suddenly wave of emotional energy that burst from one of the barrier-locked buildings that made everyone shudder with the raw determination if gave off.

"That was Luna's response," Harry said with a smirk. "She's upgraded. I have too. So your little offers? Not going to work on me."

"…I suppose you are right," Voldemort admitted. "Another tactic then." He tossed out a Pokeball and a Medicham appeared, calmly raising its hands before making them glow with Psychic Energy. "I first attempted to motivate you with the death of others. Now I will turn to a different kind of pain, Harry: your own." Another Pokeball was sent out and Espeon appeared, eyes flashing. "Agony that will break the minds of the strongest men." Another Pokeball and a Crawdaunt snapped its pincers at him. "I wanted you to join me willingly… but I can manage with a shattered mind so long as the body can be healed."

"Bring it on," Harry said only for Dumbledore to step forward, holding out his hand and pushing Harry back a bit.

"Allow me, the relic of the past, to have a try." He looked at Voldemort. "After all, if my time is over why leave me alive?"

"A good point. Kill the Headmaster."

"That was your mistake, Tom," Dumbledore said, taking the hair band and using it to draw his lone white mane back out of his eyes. "You tried to kill me." Dumbledore closes his eyes for a moment, pressing his hands together like he was saying a prayer before he rotated them so that only his thumb and index finger were the only ones touching. He let out a long, deep breath… and a ball of blue energy formed in the gap between his fingers.

"Impossible," Voldemort whispered. "That… that isn't-"

"Possible?" Dumbledore said, eyes still closed. "You are being repetitive. Hardly befitting a Dark Lord. As for any claims that this Art is long gone… it is merely on the cusp of extinction. But a spark remains." The ball of energy split and surrounded Dumbledore's fingers and suddenly he was in a fighting stance, eyes snapping open as his pupils glowed. "I am Sir Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore of the Order of the Pure Souls." His weight shifted slightly and to Harry it seemed as if, even without a single strand of hair changing, 50 years melted away from the professor. "I am the last Aura Knight."

And with that Dumbledore leapt forward, thrusting out his right hand and firing off a blast of Aura energy right at the Crawdaunt, slamming it into the ground. It didn't come out as a beam or a ball but rather like his hand had been covered in a thick gel and he was flicking it away, a globular thing that could be stretched and snapped away from him and when it hit it for several moments oozed onto the Crawdaunt before exploding out in a great blast. The glow remained around his fingers, more of it simply swelling out for a brief second on his finger tips before it struck the Pokemon again and drove it back. Hard.

"He doesn't want to fight for you. Knows that you are going to lose." Dumbledore observed the Crawdaunt for a moment before looking at Voldemort who merely jabbed his finger at him.

Espeon's eyes glowed and it unleashed a beam of Psychic energy but the Headmaster leapt up, his shoes glowing as he began to quickly 'step' on the thin air, moving as if he were jogging up stairs, easily reaching 10 feet in the air before he came back down again, firing off another blast that sent Espeon for a loop. He raced forward, far faster than his form should have allowed, before 'walking' up in the air, reaching up with a glowing hand and yanking himself higher by taking hold of… nothing. He made a sharp turn, Espeon's next Psyshock attack striking the barrier around the seats as Dumbledore allowed himself to drop, feet glowing with aura as he lashed out with a side kick that made the psychic type roll to the side, panting in pain.

"This one is loyal… but you use them improperly. No understanding of how powerful Espeon truly is." He paused. "Can you even tell if it's a boy or a girl?" He smirked and Voldemort snarled.

"Enough of this!"

"I agree," Dumbledore said, flaring his arms out and forming a barrier of his own just as Medicham leapt at him, blocking just in time. The Psychic/Fighting Type began to fire off a flurry of psy-enhanced punches and kicks but the headmaster kept thrusting out his hands, catching the blows and causing the air to shimmer briefly with the glow of Aura as discs of spiritual energy preventing the attacks from making contact. The Pokemon began to speed up its movements, sacrificing power in the hopes of catching Dumbledore unprepared and landing a strike, but the Aura around the man's hands began to leech down into his arms, causing them to glow blue as well as his own movements increased. It looked to those watching as if the two were engaged in some ancient dance. But it was a deadly dance where a misstep would spell defeat.

And Dumbledore looked to know every single move.

Espeon rolled back onto his feet and growled, eyes flashing as he prepared for another attack, unseen by everybody save one. Harry didn't know if the Headmaster could take on two Pokemon at once but he wasn't in the mood to find out. He prepared a Pokeball only for a ball he'd left in his pocket, that he'd completely forgotten about in his rush to greet his friends, to leap out and opened.

The Toxtricity emerged from the Capture Ball.

Harry instantly cycled to grab another Pokemon from his PC but the purple punk Pokemon huffed and made a rolling motion with his hands, gesturing at the two of them. Seeing Espeon charging up his blast Harry had no choice but to slip into the Speaker's Realm right before it could fire.

"I'm sorry for what I did," Harry began only for the Poison type to hold up a hand.

"Mate, is what they say about you true?"

"Depends on who said it," Harry stated.

"My trainer… he said you were weak and didn't have a commanding spirit."

"Then they are wrong. I am strong and I can take control."

"Then you boss your Pokemon around?"

"I give them attack commands in battle but only if they need help."

The Toxtricity smirked at that. "Mate… my previous trainer was a fucking pillock. Yeah, the abuse made me strong but only because I wanted to get so powerful the bastard could never hurt me again. If you aim to embarrass him then I ain't got no problem workin' with ya."

"…are you sure? Because if you want to be free I'll free you after this. I won't force you to fight."

"Oh you little slut," Toxtricity said with a leer, "Ol' Sid loves ta fight."

Harry though merely smirked back. "Then make that Espeon your bitch."

The Speaker Realm faded and Toxtricity fired off an Overload cord that had Espeon falling back, its concentration broken thanks to the audio and physical attack. "Sid" let out a huff before firing off two blasts of lightning from his hands, creating pyrotechnics like he was emerging for a stadium show.

"Crawdaunt!" Voldemort shouted and the Water/Dark Type rose to its feet again and began to rush towards Dumbledore. "Nagini!" That one was new but Harry wasn't that surprised when Voldemort sent out a larger than average shiny Arbok, which hissed before opening its fangs wide and rushing at Dumbledore. But Harry decided it was time for him to enter the fray and fired off the Pokeball he'd been preparing for Sid if he went rogue, Firebolt leaping out while Harry raced towards Crawdaunt. "Come to throw your life away, Potter?" Voldemort asked.

"No," Harry said, ducking a Water Pulse the Crawdaunt fired his way. "Come to show you that I've grown up quite a bit this year… and I have some interesting tricks up my sleeves!" He grit his teeth, looked deep within himself to the part of himself that was no longer Harry Potter but that of his first Pokemon, his brother, and unlocked Leon's DNA within him.

The Mask of Humanity exploded as Harry let out a snarl, canine teeth extending into fangs, fingers on his left hand hardening into talons, and his muscles strengthening as he revealed what he truly was now. He didn't know if it was because of how his body had transformed due to Gigantimaxing or if it was because he'd unlocked the next stage of Magnus with Hedwig and that had done something to him like Speaking did but he realized he was far stronger and faster than he'd been before the beginning of the school year, when he'd first performed the Long Talk. Crawdaunt seemed to be moving in slow motion as Harry twisted away from his blasts, giving him a moment to glance at Firebolt as the Pokemon of House Potter zipped around Nagini and unleashed a gut of flames at the serpent, before he returned his focus on his foe. Crawdaunt tried to go for a Sucker Punch but Harry easily sideswiped away before lashing out with his left hand, slashing at the Pokemon and causing it to cry out as he cut through its armored shell.

"So… Harry took a level in badass," Ginny said as she watched her friend fight it out with the Crawdaunt. Harry darted around the Pokemon and leapt up, using his robotic hand to begin tearing into the gashes he'd made in is shell while his taloned hand created new slashes. "That's new."

"Yeah but everyone has," Ron pointed out. "I don't remember the Headmaster being able to do-" Dumbledore grabbed Medicham's arm and flung it up, thrusting out his other hand and creating a wall of Aura above the Pokemon that it slammed into, sending it crashing right back down… into another barrier of Aura before he dissipated that and flung it aside, "-that!" He gestured at Hermione. "She's scary powerful with her psychic abilities, Jasmine-"

They heard a roared and saw the barrier for the building Jasmine was in buckle slightly.

"-okay, she's always been like that but this is more extreme!" Ron pointed out. "Hell, I'm pretty sure Luna actually evolved like a Pokemon!"

He waved his hand towards the blonde who was seated in the lotus position, eyes glowing a mixture of green and white as she manipulated the emotional spectrum around her. Above them the teens could hear the Nocturne Agents beginning to shift and murmur in worry… and it wasn't just because the situation was getting out of hand for their master. Luna was subtly pulling on strings, drawing them to the feelings she wanted them to have, slowly weaving an air of panic and fear and doubt through all those that had gathered expecting to see Harry fall.

"And you are complaining about this?" Ginny asked.

"When all I got was a bit stronger and you got some new tech? Yeah, I am! When do we get the super duper upgrades! You with me Nev?" There was silence. "Nev?"

Luna quietly spoke up. "He already broke out."

"…how?" Ron exclaimed.

"Spy stuff."

Ron resisted the urge to bang his head against a wall.

In the arena proper Voldemort let out a growl before releasing a Nidoqueen and a Nidoking and pointing at Harry and Dumbledore, the two of them having managed to take out the Crawdaunt and the Medicham while Firebolt was still dealing with Nagini and Sid was still battling Espeon. "Deal with them both, now!"

"It seems Tom has lost perspective," Dumbledore said as Harry moved to stand with him. "Will you be able to focus, Harry my boy?"

"I'm good," Harry said firmly, flexing his fingers. "Might be a bit more wild like this but I still have control of myself."

"Good… then together." Harry nodded and the two rushed forward, Harry ducking and weaving to avoid the poison barbs the Nidos were firing at them while Dumbledore created a shield of Aura energy around his arm and batting the poison-tipped projectiles away from his person. "Professor!" Harry shoulder, kneeling down, allowing Dumbledore to easily use his back to gain a bit more height so he could launch himself into the air, firing off two balls of Aura that struck the asphalt and created a plume of smoke. The Nidoqueen staggered back a bit and Harry burst out of the dust cloud, driving for a strike only to get hit by the Nidoking's tail. That sent him falling back, Dumbledore landing and bracing his fall before helping him back to his feet.

"It appears those two have fought together many times."

"That will make this interesting," Harry said dryly just before Nidoqueen fired off a Sludge Bomb. Harry dove out of the way, missing most of it but hissing as some of the toxic goo hit his leg, eating through his jeans and burning his leg. He shook it off and got back to his feet, grimacing as he found he couldn't put a ton of weight on his right ankle without the flesh screaming in pain. It hadn't burned too deeply but was spread out enough to become a distraction.

The Headmaster was focused on deflecting the attacks that were directed at him, slowly backing up as the two lumbering Pokemon began to storm towards him. His right hand glowed with Aura as he enhanced his strength with it and he grabbed a lamppost, fingers easily digging into the metal as he ripped it free and swung it at the two approaching Nidos, now forcing them to back up. Harry began to circle around and when the time was right he leapt forward and drove his right hand into the side of the Nidoqueen's face, causing her to slam into the King and make them both topple.

"Harry! Look out!" Dumbledore called out but it was too late and the Nidoking reached over and grabbed Harry, holding him in his clawed hand for a moment before slamming the teen down hard into the ground. Harry felt something crack and he groaned as blood coated his tongue. He didn't know what he'd done but everything hurt.

"Surrender now, Dumbledore!" Voldemort declared. "I will kill the boy!"

"You have lost your mind, Tom! I thought the mighty Lord Voldemort wanted Harry Potter as his vessel!" Behind him Sid had grabbed onto Espeon's tail and begun to thrash about, finally tossing the woozy psychic type back towards his trainer, Voldemort leaping away just in time. "Your threat is idle and false and you know it!"

No one knew what Voldemort might have done next as in that moment Firebolt, seeing his trainer in danger, broke off from Nagini and raced forward, the flames in his rolling form growing hotter and lighter until they burned blue. Harry, seeing this, focused through the pain and sent a Speaker Pulse at the Nidos, causing them to falter slightly and giving him enough wiggle room to roll out of the King's grasp.

"Firebolt!" Harry roared, blood staining his teeth while Firebolt dove into the air. Nagini instantly broke off while Espeon fired a blast of energy at Sid, driving him back before he ran back towards his trainer. "HELLFIRE BARRAGE!"

The Typlosion slammed into the ground, forming great fissures as he spun harder, churning up asphalt and dirt that within moments was melted into a glowing sludge. The flames began to recede from his back but that was only because they were being channeled downward, the floor below them cracking and buckling before, like the snapping of a pencil, all at once everything came to a head. Jets of white flame erupted all throughout the arena, Sid letting out a cry of protest as he leapt onto a roof to protect himself while Nagini bounced to another one. Espeon and Dumbledore both formed shields, one of Psychic Energy and the other of Aura, to protect themselves, but the Nidos weren't so lucky and they both bellowed as they disappeared in the plumes of super hot fire. The attack did not last long and when it did end 10 seconds later Firebolt had fainted, but he'd done his job and the Nidos lay charred on the ground, the slow rise and fall of their chests the only sign they were still alive, if only for a little while.

When it finally ended Harry looked up to see Sid staring at him in surprise, causing Harry to slip into the Speaker's realm to find out what the Pokemon was thinking.

"Is it always like this with you, mate?"

"Pretty much," Harry admitted, using the moment to catch his breath.

"…I think Ol' Sid's gonna make this team up more permenant, ya little slut."

"Could you please stop calling me that?"

"No."

Harry sighed as he returned to the real world, pushing himself up off the ground with a grimace of pain and moved over to Dumbledore who was staring down Voldemort, the robed monster trembling at the results of Harry unleashing the Potter Family's Signature Move on two powerful Pokemon. All he had out now was Espeon, who was still nursing his wounds from fighting Sid, and Nagini, who had a few burns from her battle against Firebolt. Harry had out Sid still, who other than rubbing a sore shoulder that had gotten clipped by a telekinetically-fired piece of asphalt was doing fine, and still had many other Pokemon he could send out if needed. And the Headmaster still have some left after the Department of Mysteries. Yes, both Harry and Dumbledore's Pokemon were tired but they could fight and overwhelm.

And then all the televisions in one storefront's window flicked on to reveal Barty Crouch Jr's grinning mug.

"Hello, hello there? This is Looker."

"And Neville," the teen said, the camera pulling back to reveal the young man standing next to his mentor.

"Really need a better name for you there, Neville… can't do what we do and use your real name."

"Except everyone now knows you are both Barty and Looker."

"…well, yes, that is true…" Barty admitted, waggling his head about before smiling. "Anyway, none of that really matters. What does matter is young Neville here has informed me of what is happening and I decided to bring in some help. Now, I thought about just going myself but then I ran into a new… companion, as it were. Now, I won't say that he is a former Auror, but he does know all the codes to turn off the nasty little lockdown you have put on the entire Ministry building, allowing me to begin flooding your location with many like-minded individuals who aren't exactly happy they were tricked into trying to lynch the Father of Johto. You should have half an hour-" There were several booms that shook the walls of the Arena. "No, wait, sorry about that, forgot to recalibrate my watch. 2 minutes. You have two minutes. Feel free to surrender whenever you wish."

Harry looked up as the Nocturne Agents began to look at each other… before many of them began to touch their masks and disappear, teleporting away. Voldemort looked about wildly as his minions fled, starting first with a few handfuls of grunts but soon large swaths of Nocturne members were choosing to leave as the pounding grew louder. Even Bellatrix looked down at the arena before summoning forth a Ghost Type and merging with it, flying out through the ceiling. That was enough to cause even the most devote to flee, leaving Voldemort all alone facing down Harry and Dumbledore while the Aurors continued to work on breaking down the doors and taking out the pockets of resistance just outside the arena.

"You've lost, Tom," Dumbledore said with a shake of his head.

"No… no…. NO!" Voldemort screamed. He reached up and clawed at the mask he wore, Espeon and Nagini looking at him as he screeched in protest. "I will kill them. All of them. And all of you!" He reached into his robes and began to tug on something. "To hell with plans, to hell with strategy, and to hell with all of you!" With that he ripped free a gray stone with small sparkling specks embedded within it, tossing it at Harry's feet. He leapt back only to realize that there was no explosion, no trap, no nothing. Just a stone.

One, as he looked at it, he quickly recognized.

"An Everstone," he whispered, dread dripping down his spine as he looked up and saw the mask Voldemort was wearing began to glow, the man screaming and roaring as he held his head.

"I don't believe he thought that through," Dumbledore said quietly. "Normally Nocturne Agents removes their masks before resorting to this. Tom wasn't thinking."

"Oh, this is going to suuuuuccckkkk," Harry whined as Voldemort disappeared in blinding white light, his scream out frustration, outrage, pain, and everything in-between, drowned out as the glow grew over him, swelling larger until it began to solidify-

-and then a black ectoplasmic hand burst out of the glow, nearly as large as Harry himself, and slammed down right where he had been standing; it was only Harry's enhanced reflexes that allowed him to leap away in time. Dumbledore threw up a shield of Aura as another hand appeared, only for a third to shoot out and catch him in the side, tossing the headmaster into one of the barrier-covered buildings, leaving him shaking his head and groaning as he pulled himself to his feet. A final hand emerged and grabbed onto a mailbox, using it like a sledge hammer as it began to try and pound Harry right into the ground.

The light faded away as Harry dodged another blast, finally revealing the Cofagrigus Voldemort's Yamask had evolved into. Except this one was altered, mutated more accurately, from the standard ones. Harry didn't know if it was because it had simply evolved around a human body or if Voldemort's powers had affected it but the Pokemon was far different from any pictures he'd seen of the Coffin-Pokemon. For one this it was much bigger, nearly 8 feet tall. The colors of the Pokemon's coffin body were darker, the gold more orangish, and the blue was so dark it was nearly black when the light shifted. Crimson eyes with no pupils burned brightly within the shadows of the coffin and the mouth wasn't the taunting grin one saw in pictures but instead of vicious snarl. But most disturbing were the bones. Pieces of Voldemort's host body had been graphed onto the Pokemon's form, creating a monstrous vision. Rib bones wrapped around the 'lid' of the coffin. Arm and leg bones had been twisted to create handles. And where the Yamask's mask should have been was instead the silent screaming skull of the host body.

Sid stared at the creature before leaping upon onto a building and playing a metal riff on his air guitar, firing off lightning at the enraged ghost.

Letting out a cackling scream the Cofagrigus lashed out violently with its shadow hands, long sharp fingers ripping into the already torn up road and tearing up great chunks as it tried to grab onto Harry and Dumbledore. The two of them began to dodge and lunge away, unable to even get close with the arms weaving about, driving them back whenever they tried to move in for a new assault. One taloned hand struck the barrier, making it tremble, while two others went after Harry and Dumbledore while the final one was working to try and bat away Sid's attacks.

Harry, looking about wildly, quickly formulated a plan, leapt on top of the building Sid was on. "Headmaster! UP!" Dumbledore nodded and began to airwalk, though it was a bit harder than it had been before now that he had 3 limbs swinging at him, slashing at his laboratory jacket and tearing great gashes into it. With the ghost distracted Harry was able to leapt to the water tower on another roof "Sid, some acid here!"

The Toxtricity nodded and fired off a blast that melted several of the steel struts within moments. Harry dropped to his back and braced his feet against the crossbar, growling as he called upon all his strength as he strained, slowly moving the water tower until it fell over, slamming into Cofagrigus… only for the ghost to quickly burst out of the empty steel container.

"Thank you for buying me a bit of time, Harry," Dumbledore said as the ghost below them roared.

"I was hoping it would be full of water and we could electrocute him."

The building shook as the ghost pounded his fists on it, trying to bring it down with Harry and the headmaster on top of it.

"I think it is time we ended this, Mr. Potter," Dumbledore said, pulling out an ancient looking Pokeball. It was so old that it had a dial on it that needed to be turned in order to activate the unlocking mechanism. "Recall the Toxtricity. And shield your eyes." With that he threw the Pokeball high into the air. "Fawkes! I CHOOSE YOU!"

Harry had always assumed that Dumbledore had decided to call his little union of Gym Leaders and well-connected of Avalon the Order of Moltres because he wanted something that sounded good. That there wasn't any true meaning in the words, merely just a cute phrase that sounded good when delivered in a speech.

But as the ancient Pokeball opened and the large burning Legendary Bird sprang forth… well, it went without saving, honestly.

Harry would have liked to admired Fawkes. To appreciate her grace as she opened her wings. Marvel at how fire seemed to drip from her feathers. Her speed. Her poise. Unfortunately he was too busy fearing she would be struck down as Cofafigrus decided to target the new arrival, sending all four of its ectoplasmic arms at it as it performed multiple Shadow Claws and Shadow Punches at once.

But the Moltres easily banked and glided, avoiding the strikes and working the ghost into a greater frenzy. Fawkes was large, easily big enough to let a grown adult ride on her, but she moved as if she were a tiny Joltick when it came to getting around the buildings, able to tuck her wings and go into tight spins and neck-breaking curves to avoid the blows. Harry was used to slipping through tight spots from his Gauntlet days but Moltres made him feel like he'd been a Snorlax trying to push his way through a china shop, the way she gracefully and elegantly avoided he attacks.

At one point her foe fired off two limbs, stretching them out to chase her into an alley, only to fire off two more at the other end. Harry had been sure she'd been trapped but she merely tucked her head tight to her body, dropped a few feet, and managed to somehow slip right between the phantom's dark fingers. That had earned a bellow of rage from the Coffin-Pokemon and a trill of victory from the Legendary.

Looking over at Dumbledore he saw the old man had shut his eyes, whispering quietly to himself while Aura energy swirled around him. Harry had to strain but he finally saw wisps of Aura around Moltres' head and realized the Dumbledore was commanding her that way, giving quick orders on what to do. The Cofagrigus began to hurl chunks of street at the bird but she merely responded by batting them away, her wings glowing with Aura as she augmented her strength and durability so not to feel a thing from any of the strikes.

"Enough," Dumbledore said quietly. "Phoenix Fire."

Fawkes' entire body was engulfed in fire… no, Harry realized she'd become living fire and she launched herself downward right at the phantom, causing a great explosion of flames more blinding than the Hellfire Barrage. When the smoke cleared the Legendary Bird stood alone, bits of bone scattered around her but nothing else.

Harry could only stare as she let out a trill of victory just as the doors to the arena burst open the Aurors rushed in.
