Months had gone by, Tyler and his Houndour, now a Houndoom have moved in with us, and it was nice and peaceful. Elizabeth and Tyler were at work a decent amount of the time, so us Pokemon just lazed about, waiting for our trainers to come back. One day Elizabeth didn't come home, she was at the hospital for some reason. I paced around the room, hoping whatever the reason she was there, was not because of a lethal injury, or a disease. That last thing I needed was for Elizabeth to die, it was by far the last thing I wanted, "Snowy it'll be fine, you're worrying too much," said Rush, he said while lying on the couch.

"How can I not worry?" he shrugged, "nothing was wrong with her yesterday, nothing was wrong with her this morning, so it's not some disease…" After he said that, in came Tyler. He looked tired, but happy for some reason, "in a few days Elizabeth will be home with a nice surprise for you guys," he knelt down in front of me, stared at me for a second, then got up, and walked to his and Elizabeht's room. I blinked a couple of times after he disappeared, "that was weird," said Gladi, "yeah, he never did that until now," I yawned, "well, at least Elizabeth is doing well," said Rush. I nodded, "Hopefully whatever surprise Tyler is talking about will be cool!" said Smalg.

The sound of keys jingling caught my ears, Elizabeth came home with a baby in her arms, which caught everyone's attention. I kept my distance, not wanting to hurt what was in her arms. She sat down on the couch next to Rush, "you guys wanna meet the new member of the family?" I climbed up the couch, and was the first to sniff at the baby, "does he have a name?" I asked, "his name is Davaid," I stared at Davaid while he slowly opened his eyes. I stayed still, David reached out to me while giggling, "hey, look at that! He likes you!"

I watched as Davaid just smiled, "that was one of the best moments of my life," his eyes were full of nostalgia. He reached out to pet me, I licked his cheek, "to think you can carry me around, when back then, it was the other way around," he tilted his head, "Dad seemed like a nice guy, where did he go wrong?" he asked, "I was getting to that part in the story, shall I continue?" he nodded, "well.. After Elizabeth put Davaid into a cradle, I followed her into his dedicated room, and laid beside it. She put her hands on her hips, "you like him, don't you?" I nodded, " she lifted me up, and placed me in the cradle with Davaid. He dropped the toy he was holding, and immediately hugged me. I froze, "Elizabeth, what do I do?" my mind struggled a bit while he held me like a teddy bear. She giggled at my current situation, "I guess you're his favorite toy at the moment," I gently laid one of my tails over him, and he immediately dozed off.

Elizabeth petted me on the head, "I guess I know who to trust him with" she got up to go get some sleep. Shortly after the door closed, I turned my attention to Davaid… he was so small. I licked his forehead a couple of times, curled my body around him, and went to sleep.

I woke up on Davaid's bed, he had grown a lot since I've met him. He was still short and small, but he didn't need a cradle anymore. He was drooling while underneath my tails. Despite him having a blanket, he wouldn't ever sleep unless I was in the room with him, and using my tails as a blanket. At some point I told him, "as long as you don't rip my tails out, you may touch them," so far he had listened to that rule about my tails. I licked his cheek, "c'mon Davaid, you need to wake up."

He groaned, "no!" he protested. Trainers usually started trainer school at the age of four, but Davaid wasn't enrolled yet. He basically had nowhere he had to be, so I giggled, and wrapped my body around him. He buried his face into my fur, then went back to sleep. I looked up to see Rush sitting on the other side of the room, "you and that kid love each other," he said with a grin. He climbed up onto the bed. After Daviad had heard Rush, he woke up immediately, and pulled the Lycanroc into a hug.

"Oof" I grinned when Davaid snatched him, "hey Rush!" I giggled while Rush was basically in a headlock. After Davaid had let Rush go, the Lycanroc did a play bow, and barked a couple of times. David yawned, then went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. While he went to do that, Rush climbed up onto the bed, and at down next to me, "well, I can't say I'm surprised," David rushed out of the bathroom, and landed on the bed beside us, "hey you two!"

I picked up Davaid by his shirt, "c'mon you, you need to eat something," I settled him on a chair, "good morning Snowy," said Elizabeth, she laid a bowl of cereal in front of Davaid. She grabbed two more bowls of food, and set them in front of me and Rush. she patted me on the head, "I'm looking to get you signed up for a Trainer's Pre-school, Davaid," i grinned when I saw his eyes light up, "really?" Elizabeth put her hands on her hips with a big smile, "yup, you're going to Kukui's school as well!" David was practically shaking with excitement when Elizabeth got a call.

"Hello? Ah, Lusamine, do you need something?" she nodded a couple of times, "Davaid, your father will pick you up today, Snowy, can you walk Davaid to Kukui's school?" I nodded, "of course I can," David got up to follow me out the door. While Davaid put on his shoes, Tyler sighed, "are you going on another Aether trip?" she nodded, "Lusamine wants to ask me about how Gladi's RKS System is working," Tyler looked visibility pissed for a very short second, "okay then, I'll pick up Davaid for you."

I escorted Davaid down the street, "Snowy, can you stay at the school with me?" asked Davaid, "I wish I could, today is supposed to be just day to introduce everyone to each other," I explained. He sighed, "so you can't stay?" I shook my head, "do not worry your little head, I'll wait for you at home," that was a lie. I wouldn't be waiting there at all, I'd probably end up watching Davaid through a window to keep an eye on him. We stopped outside of the gates, "ah, Snowy! I see you brought my new student with you!" said Kukui, who knelt down to pet me.

Kukui had given Elizabeth her Pokedex, and taught her the basics of battling. He was an old friend of hers, "hey there, you're Davaid right?" David nodded, "I think you'll like coming here," said Kukui, before taking his hand. I now knew Davaid was in safe arms, my eyes trailed them until they entered the building. I used my telekinesis to move a trash can over to the window. I jumped on it, and stared inside. Kukui was introducing Davaid to the class. I jumped down, then started walking home to say my goodbyes to Elizabeth.
