Before I could even answer, the person sat down next to me, it was Dad of all people. I would've scooted a little further away from him, "Ruby, just ignore him," she nodded, and we both turned our focus onto Mom's battle, "hotdogs!" I turned to see Team Rocket walking around with concessions, "I'll take one!" I wanted to punch them in the face for nearly stealing Ruby, but I hadn't eaten breakfast, I was too excited for today's event.

Elizabeth patted Snowy on the head before the battle had begun, "begin!" yelled the referee, "let's start off strong, Snowy let's do this!" Callum sent out a Talonflame, "use Brave Bird!" the Scorching Pokemon swooped in, moving at blistering speeds, landing a direct hit on Snowy, "surprise," she calmly said. The Ninetales was standing behind her opponent with a smug grin without a scratch on her, "Snowy, use Glare!" ordered Elizabeht, the Talonflame's movements slowed down significantly, "use Flame Charge!"

Snowy tapped her paw on the ground, "big mistake," she moved faster than the eye could above the Talonflame, "Ice Beam!" Snowy landed a direct hit, knocking it out, "Callum is down to two Pokemon, Elizabeth takes the league!" said the announcer. Callum sighed, "that's some Ninetales you got there," he threw another Pokeball, out came a Steelix, "Snowy come back!" Snowy quickly got by her trainer's side, "come on out Gladi!" the Sivally calmly stepped forward, "begin!"

"That was awesome!" cheered Ash, "wait up, Ash aren't you supposed to be in the locker rooms with the other competitors?" he shook his head, "they said they're doing two battles a day, and today isn't a battle day for me," he explained.

"Use dig!" said Callum, "shoot, now I wish I gave Gladi the Ground Memory to give him a bit of the edge in this," Elizabeth grinned, "well, we might as well do it anyways, use Earthquake!" as the ground began to shake, the Steelix was sent flying out of the ground. It was far from being knocked out, "use Stone Edge!" Gladi was directly hit, making him fall on his knees, "shit!" Gladi was currently a Fire Type, "can you keep going bud?"Gladi looked back at Elizabeth before nodding. He stood up trying to look strong, "Multi Attack!" the Sivally ran in, its claws were on fire as it ran forward.

I knew Gladi didn't take that hit very well, he wasn't a tank like Eniac, nor a speed demon like Rush, nor was he a powerhouse. Mom always seemed to use Gladi to help balance out her team by changing his type with the Memories out a bit.

"Use Stone Edge one more time!" Gladi quickly avoided the attack and drew closer, "gotcha! Use Iron Tail!" it made a direct hit, knocking Gladi out. Elizabeth recalled her downed Pokemon, "you did well buddy, now rest up," Elizabeth looked up, "well then, perhaps we should go with something a little faster now?" she threw out Rush's Pokeball, and out he came, "begin!" yelled the announcer, "use Earthquake!" said Callum, "jump in the air Rush!" the Lycanroc did exactly what was asked, "now use Brick Break!" Rush moved even faster than Snowy had, and landed multiple Brick Breaks on Steelix, knocking it out.

Callum gritted his teeth, "this is going south fast," he sent out a Machamp, "that's no good," said Snowy, "both me and Rush aren't going to be able to take a hit from that," she added. Elizabeth put her hand on her chin, "Snowy, switch places with Rush, I got an idea," Snowy stepped forward while Rush ran to Elizabeth's side, "begin!" ELizabeth extended her arm, "use Lock On!" a small, red glowing target was now on the Machamp's chest, "hit them with a Karate Chop!" Callum watched as Snowy started sitting down, waiting for MAchamp to get closer.

I was on the edge of my seat while the Machamp got closer, Snowy didn't even budge, "Moonblast!" was all I heard before a barrage of attacks were sent flying across the arena, hitting the Machamp hard, sending it flying into a wall. It was knocked out cold, "Callum is out of Pokemon, Elizabeth is the winner!" Mom ran onto the arena's floor, then pulled Snowy into a hug, "nice work girl!"

Elizabeth caught me off guard with her bear hug, "let's get some ice cream to celebrate our first League match, huh?" I nodded, "that would be nice. We should meet back up with Davaid though, I imagine he'd love to celebrate our victory as well."

Tyler walked into a bathroom, he lazily looked in the mirror for a split second. His Holo Caster started ringing, "is the target still watching the Pokemon League?" he nodded, "yes sir, but I think the battle for today is ending soon," the lady on the other side grinned, "good, Team Flare is taking control of Lumiose TOwer as we speak, we will be ready to commence the plan at the soon." Tyler put his hands in his pockets, "and you'll take care of the target, correct?" she nodded, "that boy and his Houndoom are going to be used as hostages," Tyler chuckled a bit, "that brat won't know what'd hit him."
