After Davaid's Mom's second round in the Pokemon League, Snowy's been really tired, so the young man carried her out of the stadium. Davaid's mother was walking right beside him, "Snowy you did amazingly despite your injury!" he cheered. Her face broke into a weak smile while we walked, "I don't think Snowy should've battled. That injury of hers took a lot out of her," said Mom. the Ninetales frowned a second and looked at her, "Elizabeth, I'm not missing a single round of this tournament, you know I wouldn't if it killed me." Elizabeth frowned, "and that's why you shouldn't have battled. You'd push yourself to the point of nearly keeling over if you had to."
The Ninetales remained silent for a second, "I am glad you are worried about my well being, but I love giving it my best and then some for you and Davaid. You two are the reason why I would fight until I drop dead." Elizabeth sighed, "can you promise for me that you won't fight like that during battles?" Snowy closed her eyes, "those eyes get me every time… I won't fight until I drop dead during the Pokemon League." said the Ninetales. She yawned when Davaid started rubbing Snowy's aching muscles, "now get some rest, you deserve it girl!" said Elizabeth while petting her best friend.
The Pokemon Center that Elizabeth and Davaid were staying at wasn't too far from the Pokemon League, given that Lumiose had roughly four of them throughout the entire city. As such the Pokemon League Stadium was built with that in mind, being closest towards the heart of Lumiose. They walked in, Elizabeth took Snowy out of her son's arms, I will see you in the hotel room after my team is healed up, okay Davaid?" her son nodded, before leading Volpsei and Ruby up to their room.
Ruby helped me get out of my wheelchair, and then laid me on the bed. "Greetings, Daviad," said Zacian, who calmly sat down by the bed. I reached out to pet her, "hey Zacian, how was your day?" she shrugged, "Axl used me as a pillow all day." the Mightyena in question climbed up on the bed and laid his head on my shoulder. I patted the sleeping Pokemon on the head, before laying my head on my pillow. Almost all my Pokemon except for Oasis and Zacian were on the bed. With both Ruby and Volpsei's body heat made it feel nice and cozy.even though it wasn't even 7:00PM, I closed my eyes and went to sleep early.
Tyler grinned as a new Pokemon was brought forward, "this one might serve you well." said Malva, who had presented a Charizard, its body was riddled with battle scars, a bit of its wings looked cut up. Its face was hard and cold, "this one has proven to take down even some of the strongest grunts," she added. Tyler grinned, "it'll serve me just fine, thank you for bringing me a replacement as quickly as you did." Malva nodded, "the Pokemon League's finals are in a week. I recommend getting used to your new partner."
After Malva had left the room, Tyler got up to inspect his new servant, "you look like you've got some grit to ya!" The Charizard was unmoving. The Team Flare admin put his hands behind his back, "I believe you know what will happen if you fail me, correct?" it nodded, "good." Tyler laughed to himself at the new potential this Charizard would bring.
After we had breakfast, I was helped into my wheel chair by my Pokemon, and I decided to go explore. Just before I left the Hotel Room Mom stopped me, "you're not going anywhere without Ruby and Volpsei going with you!" she placed her hands on her hips, and gave me the look. This condition wasn't too bad in my eyes, I loved having their company with me, plus I'd be safer, it's just a win win in my book. Volpsei was quick to get on my lap as soon as we were in the Pokemon Center's lobby. I couldn't help but notice just how much he's grown in a month; from that little Vulpix, to a Ninetales. He wasn't huge by any means, but he seemed big for his age. In Volpsei's mind he was still likely a pup, "alright guys, you ready?" they barked before I rolled out the door with Ruby close behind.
While we were out and about, I couldn't help but notice people running away from a certain direction. I could even hear a Pokemon screaming… like it was in pain or something, "c'mon guys, let's go check it out." Ruby nodded, Volpsei jumped out of my lap, and put on his serious face. Whatever the hell was making that much noise must've been causing a riot if people were running from it, so I didn't even know if I could take it on. I still rolled passed the crowd that was running.
What I saw got me worried at first, it was a Latios, it looked as though something was clamped around its neck. I didn't know what it was, but it was probably why it was rampaging through the streets of Lumiose of all places, "Ruby, use Dark Pulse on the Latios for me," without hesitation, the Houndoom fired her attack, hitting its mark. The problem was, was that enough? Latios are known for being pretty tough, especially while pissed off. That was answered when the smoke cleared, Latios was on the ground, still jerking at whatever the collar was doing to it.
I wheeled closer to the downed Pokemon, I couldn't help but feel pissed off, the thing around its neck was an electric collar. Somebody must've cranked it up to a million and sent the Latios onto the streets of Lumiose. I turned to Volpsei, "can you hold him still for me?" Latios was soon enveloped in a small, blue aura, and lifted up to my level. I grabbed the collar, "Ruby, use Crunch on this thing," in one swift motion, the collar was broken into pieces.
Volpsei let go of the Pokemon as it opened its eyes, "how do you feel buddy?" Latios cheered before licking my face.
I could hear murmurs, people had watched the once raging Pokemon, now calm and friendly. I patted Latios' neck, "alright Latios, you take care now, you hear?" it nodded before flying off.
I paid little attention to the crowd, I couldn't care less for what they were saying. I turned to Ruby and Volpsei, "thank you two for helping me with calming it down," I patted their heads with a big grin. Wherever the Latios was headed, I hoped it would keep itself safe.
While we continued about our day of exploring the city, I couldn't help but peak over and Volpsei or Ruby. they had been watching the sky ever since Latios had left. At first I thought they were just watching the clouds given that they were talking to each other. I couldn't understand what either of them were saying unless Volpsei decided to use telepathy, or if SNowy was there to translate for me. After half an hour of them staring and my Pokemon talking, I finally looked up. There was nothing there, there were no clouds either. I scratched the back of my head, before returning my focus to the side walk. If I could jump, I would've; the Latios from earlier was right in my face, staring into my eyes. It licked my face again after saying something I couldn't understand. I looked over at Volpsei, "Latios said thank you for helping him." I petted the Eon Pokemon.
Latios started looking all over me, "it wants to be your Pokemon now," said Volpsei.
I blinked a couple of times, "well, I guess welcome to the team!" Latios cheered before proceeding to follow me around all day.
