PROLOGUE
There was a loud staggering explosion, Sarah Foster briefly felt painful heat scalding her as small pieces of sharp shrapnel embedded painfully into her skin, before the adrenalin took over. It was dark, late at night, she could barely see with the lights of the chopper turned off. She blindly tried to find something to hold on to, to steady her feet in the wildly flying, partially destroyed helicopter that she was on. The helicopter's doors were blown wide open, leaving her and her panicking companions to the mercy of the strong winds outside.
There was no way for them to survive. They were hundreds of feet off the air, below them were rocky mountains and thick trees hiding the enemies that had just shot them down, and most importantly, the helicopter was on fire. The engine is about to either shut off or explode any second now. Looking grimly around at the face of her companions, she accepted her fate. None of them would survive. Those that were lucky to, despite of the odds they were in, would quickly find themselves in the hands of their enemy to torture or kill.
There was no escape. All they could hope for was a quick end.
Thus was the life of members of the military.
The helicopter lurched sharply to its side, throwing Sarah off of her feet and into the open air. Time seemed to slow as she tried to grab a hold of what was left of the helicopter door, only for her hand to slip off, slick with her own blood. She took one last look at her companions who were staring at her in horror, valiantly attempting to catch her. These were the she had formed a strong bond of comradeship with, through the years of working together in this war. They screamed, reaching out, but she was already falling.
Just as she was losing sight of them, the helicopter exploded. Instantly killing and burning everyone inside. She felt a tear slip down her cheek as she let out a strangled yell for her friends, her family. The last thing she thought of was if they would be able to see each other on the other side. Then she hit the ground. Dead.

For a short while, she just laid there in nothingness. As far as she could see, there was nothing but darkness spanning all around her. "Hello?" she once tried calling out, only to find that her voice wasn't working. She tried moving, but can't.
'Is this hell?' she idly thought, as she tried hard to do something, struggling hard on what seemed like invisible bonds firmly holding her in place.
For days, there was nothing but darkness and silence.
It was torture.
She could feel her sanity slowly slipping through.
Then, suddenly, without warning her surroundings exploded with loud whispers, that she couldn't understand. She jerked around trying to locate the incomprehensible sound. But it was coming from nowhere and everywhere at the same time.
First it was too quiet, now it was too loud.
Sarah wanted it to stop. She squeezed her eyes shut, opened her mouth, and let out a scream of frustration.

Sometime... Somewhere...
.
"WAHHHH!" a newborn wailed, oblivious to the looks of relief that the people around her exchanged. For a brief moment they thought she was a stillborn, but evidently not. The healer that was holding her handed the littlest princess off to another to have her cleaned of all the blood and gunk covering her from head to toe before once again facing a tired but relieved Princess Ursa, to help her with the afterbirth.
