Davaid walked out of the hospital with crutches, "man… it feels good not having to use that wheelchair!" he said while awkwardly moving forward, "I must say, seeing you move around with those crutches is a sight to see," said Snowy. Even the Ninetales had to admit her trainer walked like a clutz with those crutches. The fox Pokemon went back to scanning the area, "Snowy, is something up?" asked Davaid. Snowy debated on telling Davaid about his father's Houndoom, it was better to let him know, despite what her trainer might do.
"I have spoken to your father's Houndoom recently," she answered, "he sounds trustworthy, but chances are, is that the Houndoom is pulling something." Davaid sighed, "hope he isn't going to try anything. I'm getting used to things being kind of quiet." Snowy also told Ruby and Volpsei, who came along to Davaid's check up. The Houndoom stuck closer to Davaid while the younger Ninetales started eying every corner.
Davaid nearly tripped for the umpteenth time on their walk, "Davaid, if you want I can just carry you, you almost just face planted the bajillionth time so far." Snowy offered, "don't worry about me, I'll manage." just like that, he tripped again and fell. Well, he would've if the Ninetales didn't stop him from tumbling down onto the concrete, "are you sure about that?" Davaid rolled his eyes, "fine…" he said with a playful tone.
Snowy laid her trainer out on her back, "Davaid, don't make me tickle you until you cannot breath." she said with a giggle. She peeked over at Ruby, "you really are on high alert, aren't you?" the Houndoom sighed, "last time that scumbag of a father was around here, Davaid and I were thrown in a cage." she said with a growl, "hey now, things are different. For instance, I'm here, that bastard isn't getting within 15 feet of Davaid without getting turned into an ice cube."
"Davaid, where have you been?" Snowy looked up to see Ash and his friends coming up to greet them.
"Oh, I was just in my hotel room the whole time. After getting kidnapped, I've been limiting how much I go outside." Snowy stood Davaid up, "if you trip again, I'm not letting you walk until that leg's healed." Davaid put his weight onto the crutches before Snowy let off on her telekinesis.
"So, how's the Pokemon League going for you Ash?" the trainer grinned, "I'm still in it to win it!" he said while pumping his fist up into the air. His Pikachu followed his actions, "Pikachu!" Clement was still giving Davaid the stink eye, which didn't go unnoticed by the latter.
"So, where are you heading?" Ash asked, "I'm just heading back to my hotel room. Maybe stop somewhere interesting on the way, but nowhere special." said Davaid.
Pikachu jumped down from Ash's shoulder and trotted over to Snowy, "hey Snowy!" greeted the friendly mouse, "greetings," said the Ninetales. She sat down, "I take it that we will be battling again soon." Pikachu nodded, "yup! In about three weeks, I want to see if you've improved at all. That is, if you make it to the finals, Ash is going all out this time around."
"Trust me, during big events like this," Snowy's face grew a bit more serious, "I do not plan on losing." Pikachu's eyes lit with anticipation, "I can't wait!"
"Well Ash, I'll see ya around. I need to get back to my hotel room," Davaid waved at the group before turning to walk away. Ash and his friends bit him a farewell, and parted ways. Snowy eventually just put her trainer back on her back, "that kid with the big glasses seems to still dislike you," Davaid turned to the Ninetales, "yeah, at this point I've just accepted that some people aren't willing to forget my past."
Volpsei barked before licking Davaid's face and started jumping around. This didn't fail to make the trainer grin, "Volpsei, I swear you're on 50 packs of sugar every second of your life."
Snowy's head snapped at something, "what is it girl?" the Fox Pokemon shook her head, "let's just get back to the hotel room. I feel like somebody's watching us," she picked up the pace. Ruby was staring at the rooftops of nearby buildings, the Houndoom could've sworn she saw a figure dressed up in red.
Now, I do owe an apology for how short this chapter is(given how long it's taken me to release it). I have to physically go to school now, on top of that, my new story requires a bit of attention as well. Next chapter should be a bit more exciting. Thanks for being patient.
