After the Police came and arrested the mugger, Ash's usual smile was plastered on his face. He turned to Zacian, "you're a pretty strong Pokemon, huh?" the legendary nodded. I just patted Zacian, "now let's go meet up with the group! I'm starving!" he marched on down the street, "yeah, just give me a second to catch up with ya." Ash flashed a thumb's up, then gave me a place to meet up with him.

I patted Zacian again, "thanks for keeping an eye out for me, you probably saved my skin there." the warrior Pokemon rolled her eyes, "well, you are my trainer aren't you? It's my job to protect you." She licked my face, "well, then it's my job to care for you and your needs as well. It's not a matter of you have to protect me, it's more of…" I struggled to get the exact words for a second, "sorta like we watch out for each other," I had Zacian sit down, "now let me see if you got hurt at all."

Zacian just laughed her ass off, "Davaid, I took hits from Pokemon that could destroy an entire region, I doubt that Raichu could even hurt me." despite her saying this, I made sure she wasn't hurt in any capacity, "hey, can't be too sure right?" once more, she rolled her eyes and giggled. Zacian got up, "I appreciate you being concerned, but trust me, if I am hurting for whatever reason, I shall let you know."

"Now, let us meet up with Ash and his friends." she started trotting in the direction Ash went. I was quick to get to her side.

I had to admit, Lumiose City in the dark of night looked peaceful, no traffic, and barely anyone was on the streets. Nothing could compare to the starry nights back in Alola, Lumiose was too bright at night to see any stars. That made me more excited for my trip back to Alola after my leg is healed. Just lying in the grass, taking in the beautiful night sky back at home, this time with my Pokemon there with me.

"Is something on your mind Davaid?" Zacian asked, "no, nothing really important. Just got caught in my thoughts, mainly to when I go back to Alola for the Island Challenge," she nodded, "I see." then we saw Ash and his friends standing outside of a restaurant, this was the place.

The waiter took us to our seats, luckily this restaurant was ok with having Zacian outside of her Pokeball. Ash and his friends chatted while they turned the pages in the menu, while I just stayed quiet. I didn't dare say anything, remembering that I wasn't the most liked person at this table. I picked a meal for me and Zacian, and kept my lips zipped up.

"So Davaid, where did you get a legendary Pokemon from?" Clemont asked, "wha?" I looked over at Zacian, "oh, Zacian! She sorta just landed in front of me after I left a town, and had me catch her. Why do you ask?" Clemont shrugged, "usually Legendary Pokemon don't just let themselves be caught by anyone."

The waitress came, took everyone's orders, and headed back into the kitchen. Zacian raised her head, "I chose Davaid as my trainer because I wished to know what it would be like having one. I must say, if every trainer treated their Pokemon like he does, then I know why some wish to be with a trainer over being in the wild." she was using her telepathy. Clemont looked at me, "so, where'd you also get that Houndoom as your first Pokemon?"

He really was trying to figure everything out about me, huh? I shrugged, "I was heading to Santalune City and bumped into Ruby. She was stuck in a bear trap, so I helped her out. The next day Ruby let me catch her, and she became my first Pokemon."

Now saying that, I wish I brought her along, though she looked really tired when we got back to the hotel room. Ruby was likely dozing off on my pillow while we were sitting here. The waitress came by with our orders and drinks, I thanked her, and dug in. Zacian seemed to enjoy what she got, which was just a bowl of soul with a few pieces of chicken.

"So Ash, you think you're gonna win the Pokemon League?" I asked. Ash had his mouth full, "yeah! The next battle's going to be tough, but I'd expect no less considering the opponent." it was just him and Mom left in the tournament, and the last time they battled, Mom beat him by a landslide. Ash more than likely improved a ton since then, so it was going to be fun to watch.

As soon as he finished answering, he started shoveling food into his mouth quicker than a Snorlax. I couldn;t help but chuckle at how quickly his meal disappeared from its plate.
