Some Phone communications.
Chopped this up, Triple feature. I know I haven't been formatting things like this normally - usually this would be three seperate chapters, but I felt they were too short. lmk if you'd prefer this thing to be 3 chaps.
*kzzzt - Gomez, order jus' came down from up high. Broadcast to the rest of the guards fer me.*
"Roger that."
'Big Man' Gomez adjusted the dial on his communication devices so the HCon Head of security could announce to the rest of the troops. The bulk of Geese Howard's security forces had been stationed just below the penthouse - floor 19 - and ever since the building started trembling, everyone was on edge. HCon typically had great surveillance, but the quake (or whatever that was) had caused some structural damage in the building, such that many of the CCTV wires had been shaken loose or otherwise damaged. HCon's security team was blind from floor 15 and down.
*Ehem - kzzt - Everyone, this is Billy Kane. We've got new orders. Head down to floor 15, then take things floor by floor - and off erryone you see. That includes Yagami. The Boss thinks he gotta be injured, since 'e didn't phone in. Strap'im to a gurney and put a bullet in his skull.*
Gomez blinked and frowned, Geese decided to turn on Yagami? Not unexpected at all… but had Iori managed to fulfill his purpose in killing those fifty-odd mercenaries Kain had brought in? Billy's troops were well armed, but only numbered about 20 men. Gomez seriously didn't want to fight that sort of lopsided battle. Billy addressed his concerns almost immediately.
*Yagami had knocked out all the cameras up to floor three once he started fighting, an' we didn't see the mercs comin' up past floor 4. I bet most o' them are gone, but keep alert in case we gotta fe few stragglers. Look for the Rock Howard brat and Kain Heinlein - You have kill orders.*

Sheriff Blackwell gnashed on his cigar as he glowered at Geese Tower.
He was supposed to be the one storming those gates. This was supposed to be his project, his final victory before retreating into the obscurity of retirement. Instead, what was he doing? Standing guard over that bastard's building.
And instead of Blackwell, Kain Heinlein and his little terrorist cell were the ones fighting to take down America's most powerful crime lord. Blackwell didn't know how well they were doing, but from what he could see - they weren't doing a half shabby job. The entire third floor had exploded. The south-side of the tower looked like it was barely holding itself upright. Mary Ryan - who was supposed to be on probation - had showed up out of the blue, and had entered in from the fourth floor. Some Japanese people in suits had likewise entered as well.
Humph… Yagami snakes… do your worst.
And if Blackwell hadn't been given strict orders not to let anybody in, he certainly would have stopped the intruders. However, even if Blackwell was 'technically' Geese ally in this operation, he still hated the man with all his guts. He would let anyone he thought might be an enemy of HCon waltz past the police line without a second glance.
"Sheriff, a call."
Blackwell took a drag from his cigar and motioned to be handed the radio phone. A bored looking officer passed it to him, and mouthed 'Geese'. That soured Blackwell's mood considerably, and he put on a nasty snarl over the phone. Even if he was ordered to defend Geese Tower, he didn't need to be pleasant about it.
The Sheriff stood to his feet and clicked his spurs together - then took a deep breath and opened with as much rudeness as his background would allow.
"What now, ya old snake? Amazing that Geese -fuckin'- Howard's phonin' the police. Ha, thought I'd never see the day."
An intimidating pause over the phone. Blackwell wasn't intimidated.
*Blackwell, you are ordered to assis-*
Blackwell laughed loudly, then snarled into the phone.
"I retire next week. Ya can't touch me. The hell you want? Spit it out. I'll let ya know if I feel inclined. Go on, Mister Howard."
Evidently, Geese wasn't particularly used to being talked down to. There was a long moment before he spoke.
*Bombs in the basement. Likely in the parking garage. If Geese Tower goes down, so do the surrounding buildings. Unless you want your final legacy, being the leveling of a block in SouthTown, I suggest you send a bomb team. I expect a positive response, or you'll be hearing from your superiors… particularly, the pension administrator.*
Blackwell narrowed his eyes, and growled his response.
"You snake! You dare thre-"

The 4th Elder was livid.
Late last night, his team had opened discussions with Mr. Big - Geese Howard's operations manager, and were negotiating terms of peace between the two Mafia organizations. The old man was keen on preventing this sort of thing happening ever again… or at least for the next three years. Iori Yagami still had a bit of mileage left in him, and the Yakuza was intent on using that mileage as efficiently as possible to expand their operations before he was killed by his curse.
Talks were going well… until word got out Iori Yagami had escaped his bedroom and had gone vigilante hunting. The Fourth himself had burst into the hotel room they had locked their rowdy heir in - only to find the window smashed, and finger-holes pierced all the way down the side of the building. It was 7:00 when they discovered the heir missing, and 7:30 before the 4th's troops arrived at Geese Tower.
Iori you little brat! What are you doing now?!
The Fourth Elder had known Iori Yagami his whole life. He had raised the boy since he was five, and probably knew the boy better than anyone else on the planet. That's why the Fourth knew Iori was susceptible to involving himself in harebrained schemes with completely nonsensical motivations. The first priority for the Yagami clan was to fetch Iori back. The second priority was to fly him to Japan and lock him in the estate until he promised to behave himself.
*Brrrr*
Ah, looks like the Yakuza troops had found the heir. The Fourth quickly picked up the phone. Across the marble table, in the hotel's conference room Mr. Big sat with crossed arms and a sour expression.

"Update."
*Yes sir, we found Iori. He's fractured three ribs and sprained an ankle. We just finished first aid, and we're about to bring him back. We expected some resistance, but he looked rather happy to see us. He's asked that we buy him McDonalds on the way back, so-*
The Fourth sighed.
"No, no. Bring him straight back here. In fact, put him on the phone."
*Yes sir...* There was a sizable pause, then Iori's voice shouted (presumably from the floor) into the receiver.
*What now, old man? I can eat what I want.*
"Yagami. I need you back, now."
*What? Seriously? I didn't eat breakfast yet an- *
Suddenly, there was static and gunfire over the line. The cacophony was so loud, that even Mr. Big - across the room - flinched upright and frowned at the 4th. The gunfire was followed by screaming over the line. Most of the screaming was Iori's.
*WHAT THE FUCK, YOU PIECES OF SHIT! I'LL KI-*

Tldr:
1) Geese thinks Yag is injured, and sends his soldiers down to kill him, Rock and Kain if they find him.
2) Geese asks Blackwell to go to the basement to keep Kain from blowing stuff up. He thinks the explosion was due to Kain's bombs, not Rock panicking.
3) Yag is about to go home, because he sprained his ankle, is hungry and doesn't want to tussle with Terry. No longer has motivation to help Rock. Gunfire! 0.0
