terrky is still a good guy even if he's ki da scary

The noise was deafening. They felt the rumble through their boots, into their heels up their knees and straight to their skulls, rattling their teeth against each other.

Most of them knew this feeling. As members of Geese Howard's elite security team, these men were familiar with SouthTown's Legendary Wolf. Most of them had found themselves on the 'business' end of Terry Bogard's frightening power… and today, it certainly was frightening.

They'd never seen him this serious before. Terry Bogard wasn't one to exert bloodlust. He wasn't a maniac killer. He was, at his core, a powerful -yes- but gentle soul. If he weren't, each of the men in Geese's security crew would be long dead at his hands. Ten years ago, Terry had climbed this very tower, crushing everything in his path. Just looking at him now told the HCon troops the old Wolf hadn't weakened at all. In fact, he looked more motivated than they'd ever seen him.

Each of them were seasoned fighters. Many had been hired off battlefields. Others from underground fighting rings. The bodyguards senses were whetted and sharp, trained to sense danger... and right now, each of these men knew they were at the Wolf's mercy.

Tap… tap… tap…

There he was. The Wolf. His shoulder length bangs shadowed his face. He dressed casually - comfortably and in pedestrian fashion. He wore no armor. He hadn't brought any visible defensive measures. Why would he? He was merely walking through his own territory. He didn't need to take precautions to deal with this little uprising. Geese was the declared King… but only because Terry Bogard didn't care for the position.

Tap… tap.

But now… Terry was storming the castle. For what reason? The soldiers could only speculate. They were frozen and apprehensive, not daring to open fire despite their orders allowing them to. The air was too dangerous. It seemed to tremble like ripples in a pond. They were on floor 8, yet Terry seemed to have no difficulty using Gaia's power. It was well known that Terry rivaled Geese Howard himself in his martial arts mastery, and could fully utilize his strength, even at such elevation.

"Steady…"

The squad captain was saying something, but nobody was really listening. Terry Bogard -that behemoth- had stopped three feet from the tips of their rifles, threatening them. There was no fear in his demeanor. Not even the faintest worry he might be hurt. The soldiers were convinced of it too. His chi swept about him so densly, it parted the dust before his feet. He raise his eyes and addressed the group of men. His voice was deceptively cheerful - per his habit towards pleasantness.

"I'm looking for my son… you'd help me, won't you?"

The question was really a demand, and the demand was punctuated with a violent tremor in the air. Danger! Threat!

"..."

Nobody dared speak. The capitan looked conflicted. Clearly he was weighing his allegiances.

"Have you found him? Have you found my boy? Tell me! What have you bastards done to him!?"

"..."

The Wolf gnashed his teeth at their lack of response, and in a single quick motion, swatted aside the captain's rifle and seized him by the throat, lifting him clear off his feet. His voice changed as recognition passed over the Wolf's face. His voice became soft, almost tragic.

"Oh… Don't make me kill you, Hooper. I'm a desperate father who's short on time. I can't afford to spare you again..."

Captain Hooper gagged and stammered, spilling information as the breath was squeezed from him.

"W-we haven't caught him! I-I swear, no news abo-"

Terry lowered the captain back to the ground. He motioned to his body-mounted comms unit with his chin.

"Where do they think Rock is."

"S-sir, I can't…urk!"

Terry suddenly seized Hooper by the shoulders, and yanked him forward as he plunged a knee into the unfortunate man's gut. Hooper doubled over and began coughing violently.

"Yes you can, Hooper. I know you can. Communicate with your team, tell Geese and Billy too. Tell them I'm here for my son… and that I'd better find him alive and well..."

The Wolf dropped the facade of friendliness. His eyes blazed as he looked at each man in turn. As he spoke, the floor rumbled beneath his feet.

"But if I don't, if I find something happened to Rock… then I will call each of you to account for his blood. This is a promise I won't break. Do you believe me?"

"..."

They nodded even as silence reigned all around. Captain Hooper was curled up, clutching his stomach on the floor. The Wolf stared them down.

"Good. Get me on the comms."

"Y-yes, sir."
