Hikari: Sorry for the lack of updates…..

Me: We were lacking inspiration most of the time and…..

Hikari: Lacking? Lacking isn't the word it's called lazy….

Me: Ok I was lazy…I didn't have time to update or post anything but now I have time to do so….

Hikari: *sighs*

Me: *chuckles and pats Hikari on the head* Anyways, I hope the last names of Sennen and Ishigami don't belong to anyone for I've been reading stories with these as last names for Yami and thought it be cool to use them. Either way if they do belong to anyone please let me know so I may fix the problem.

Disclaimer: Anyways, we DON'T own Yu-Gi-Oh! And never will, the only person I own is Arainaina for she's my character as well as Joesaika and anyone else I may or might list inside. This story also contains Yaoi so if you don't like it then please don't read it. Also major to mild Tea bashing along with my very own bashing for my own character.

Chapter 2: Confessions?

Earlier that day

"Joesaika" calls a girls voice which grabs the attention of the said girls name. "Huh? Oh it's you….Tea" remarks Joesaika as she turns to a girl with short brown hair and blue eyes. "I'll pretend I didn't hear that" remarks Tea more so to herself than to Joesaika before turning her blues eyes once again to the said girl before her.

"Anyways…I need you to do something for me" asks Tea.

"What…."asks Joesaika almost timidly, unsure if she wanted to know what it was Tea was asking her to do. "I want you to hurt Arainaina" admits Tea in an almost chipper tone. "WHAT" shouts Joesaika who can't imagine doing that.

"I said, I want you to…."

"I know what you said….but why?" asks Joesaika who didn't understand why the girl was asking for it. "Because…I hate her, I hate her because she stands in my way of having Yami and Atemu" remarks Tea almost sweetly.

"But Yami is with Yugi" admits Joesaika. "You know that, Yami would never date you let alone give Yugi up and Atemu doesn't want anything to do with you".

"I know but I can't hurt Yugi, Yami will know it's me but Arai is someone who will be an easier target" answers Tea this time more serious than before.

"I can't….I won't" remarks Joesaika.

"You will or I'll tell Yami about your dirty little secret" smirks Tea as she sees Joesaika go pale as a ghost.

"NO!"

"Do it or I'll make sure Ushio gets a hold of her"

At Tea's remark about Ushio getting his hands on Arai, Joesaika knows that in order to protect her from that, that she would have to do as Tea said even if it meant hurting her in the process and possibly ending her relationship for even though she hadn't said it directly to Tea, Joesaika probably knew as well as her that Arai had captured Atemu's heart and even though Arai herself didn't know that, it hurt Tea's ego to know that she could never have Atemu's love nor Yami's because they both loved Arai, Yami as a brother and Atemu something more the same kind of love Joesaika herself held for the young girl.

Sighing, Joesaika knows what she must do if it meant keeping Ushio out of the picture, "Fine…I'll do it" and with that Joesaika sealed her fate that fateful morning.

Meantime, Over at Kaiba Corp Seto was doing what he normally did every morning which was run his company and deal with stupid people in the process. But today was different for today Seto was currently looking down at the people below him when one person caught his attention.

'Arai?' wonders Seto as he spots Arai walking with Joesaika which he noticed they were heading off in the direction of the park. But upon taking notice of the two Seto can't help but notice something was off.

Sensing trouble, Seto quickly turns from the window near his desk and makes a dash for the office door, white jacket flowing out behind him as he rushes to the main lobby in hopes of reaching Arai.

"Seto, where you going?" calls the voice of a young boy with raven black hair and round blue eyes. "Later Mokuba" was all Seto could say as he hits the elevator button to his private elevator as Mokuba runs over to join him.

"But Seto" remarks Mokuba.

"I said later" was all Seto said as he and Mokuba move into the elevator just as the door swings closed and Seto presses the button for the lobby. Upon reaching the lobby of Kaiba Corp, Seto quickly makes his way towards the front doors of Kaiba Corp, Mokuba following close behind him unaware of the looks they were receiving from the other workers of Kaiba Corp.

Upon reaching the outsides of Kaiba Corp, Seto begins to scan the area for the girl he was looking for only to see nothing. "Dammit" growls Seto who lost his chance to confront Arai. "Seto…what are you doing? This isn't like you" remarks Mokuba as he stands off to the side of Seto concern showing within his eyes as looks up at Seto.

"Arai" remarks Seto. "Huh? Arai" asks a confused Mokuba. "I saw Arai from the window of my office…she and Joesaika where walking off towards the…." Remarks Seto only to realize they were heading off towards the park which has Seto dashing off in the same direction.

"Oh brother….Seto, wait for me" was all that could be heard from Mokuba as he dashes off after his big brother unsure what was happening.

Meanwhile, back with Arai and Joesaika, Joesaika had just managed to reach the park's entrance before stopping and looking over to Arai. "Arai, we need to talk" replies Joesaika as she takes a once over to the girl who's heart was about to be broken.

"O-Ok…" mumbles Arai, waiting for whatever Joesaika had to say to her.

"Not here"

So with that said Joesaika quickly takes Arai to their special place inside the park which was the swing sets, for whenever they would go there, Arai would love to just swing and spend most of their time just being there.

Upon reaching the swings, Arai can't help but notice a few kids there and so ops to move towards the benches, where once there Arai turns to Joesaika once they sit down.

"So…what did you want to say to me?" asks Arai.

"Arai…You know I'd never do anything to hurt you on purpose right?" remarks Joesaika as she looks to the girl in question trying to find the right words to say to her.

"Yes…"

"…..Arai, I have to break up with you"

"WHAT? WHY?" Arai cries as she fully looks to Joesaika all the while trying to hold back tears that were threaten to spill from her eyes.

Sighing quickly, Joesaika figures that it's the least she could do but give the girl an answer. "It's a long story; one I'm sure Yami will kill me over…."

"You've found someone else…." asks Arai, tears slowly making their way down her face which twists Joesaika's heart in pain.

"Yes….I-I never meant for any of this to happen….it just sort of did" remarks Joesaika which in reality was never true but she had to follow Tea's plan if she wanted Ushio to stay away from her.

"I understand….." was all she could say before standing from the benches as fast as she could before turning and running from site leaving behind a grief stricken Joesaika behind as Arai makes a mad dash for the entrance of the park tears falling from her eyes which blinds her in her haste to leave causing her to trip and stumble.

'WHY? WHY ME' screams Arai's mind as she continues to run, only to run into the middle of the street completely unaware of a car coming right at her. BEEP…..BEEP…BEEP…..blares the sound of a car horn.

Unaware of the car horn or the car coming straight for her, Arai continues to stand right in its way while the car itself continues to get closer and closer to her until it just merely reaches her as someone yanks her out of the way and into a pair of strong arms.

"You ok Arai?" asks the voice.

At the sound of the voice Arai's heart stops dead in her chest as hazel green eyes slowly rise to meet cerulean blue eyes only to sigh at seeing it was Seto who had saved her and not Yami or Atemu because then she would have to explain why she was crying.

"Yes, I'm okay….Thank you Seto" remarks Arai in a soft whisper which Seto almost didn't hear.

"Arai what happened?" asks Seto in hopes she would tell him.

"Nothing" lies Arai.

"Don't lie to me"

"I'm not" continues Arai, as she tries to hide what really happened from Seto.

"Yes you are….Arai were family you don't have to hide from secrets from me" explains Seto in hopes she would open up to him because it was in fact true they were family both he, Mokuba, Yami and her. And even though they were just cousins he still wanted her to know she could trust him with problems.

"You'll tell Yami" whines Arai as she continues to look at Seto.

"I swear I won't tell Yami…whatever we talk about stays between us"

"Promise" asks a hopeful Arai

"Promise" answers Seto with a genuine smile on his lips for even though Seto could be cold and heartless to most people he was actually soft and caring on the inside when it came to those he cherished like her, Yami, Mokuba and Joey.

"….Okay but…but not here" was her only response to Seto.

Understanding where Arai was getting at and having a good idea as to what might have happened Seto gently wraps a protective arm around Arai's shoulders before leading her back towards Kaiba Corp, Mokuba trailing slightly behind them to allow Arai some space in which Arai was grateful for, for even though Arai adored Mokuba for his big heart she adored him even more when he knew not to crowd her in times of distress and allowed either her brother Yami or Seto to approach her.

During the walk back to Kaiba Corp, Arai can't help but sigh as she gently closes her eyes for a second as Seto continues to lead her in the direction he last came from all the while trying to sort her jumbled thoughts about what all happened to her since she awoken.

'It's funning when I think about it…Here I was worried I was going to be late for my date with Joesaika when in reality I was being dumped by her at our favorite spot….Boy I'm glade Yami wasn't here….He be angry if he found out….wait….YAMI!' come the panic thoughts of Arai as her eyes snap open before reaching tiny fingers up towards her Millennium Puzzle, praying to the gods it didn't respond to her emotions enough to alert Yami.

But as panic begins to fill Arai's thoughts and heart, Arai doesn't realize that they had made it back to Kaiba Corp nor that they were now standing inside Seto's office. "Crap" squeaks Arai as she completely forgot about her puzzle.

"Seto please don't let Yami find out….He'll be furious with Joesaika if he finds out" pleads Arai as she turns to face Seto.

"Don't worry…I won't tell Yami" replies Seto as he leads Arai to the sofa near his desk before he himself sits on the corner of his desk as he waits for Arai to calm down before asking her what happened.

After minutes of waiting Arai is finally able to calm herself long enough to explain to Seto what happened to her. "Joesaika broke up with me" answers Arai while trying to hold back tears again because it still hurt knowing a person you thought loved you could in return dump you minutes later.

At Arai's blunt answer, Seto isn't surprised at all by the answer he received yet decides it better not to say anything that could hurt the girl more because she already got hurt once, one he or Yami were able to prevent from happening now all he could do was be there to help her.

"I'm sorry Arai…but I'm sure there's good reason behind this" remarks Seto as he lays a gentle hand upon her shoulder 'At least there better be'

"She said she found someone else" cries Arai who this time couldn't hold back the tears any more.

'I find that hard to believe…something doesn't add up here and I'm going to find out' where Seto's only thoughts as he continues to comfort Arai until eventually she fell asleep upon the sofa.

Once sure she was vast asleep did Seto move from his desk and to his chair where once there took a seat within it. "Mokuba"

"Yea Seto?" asks Mokuba to his big brother as he approaches the desk careful not to wake Arai in the process.

"Get Yami on the line"

"But you promised Arai that Yami wouldn't find out" remarks Mokuba in surprise.

"I did and he won't I just want to talk to him"

And so with that said Mokuba grabs Seto's phone that was on the desk and quickly dials Yugi and Yami's number.
