To say their friends were embarrassed when they saw Yugi and Atem entering school grounds is the least, they are obviously ashamed to see their friends probably debating if they would take their wrath like men, or run like screaming little schoolgirls afraid of the boogie man.
But by the time they decided to take their leave Atem and Yugi are standing next to them.
"Hey guys, enjoyed the show yesterday?" Yugi asks casually as if nothing has happened but has an obvious evil glint in his eyes. "Next time if you decide to do a peeking Tom, I promise to drag you in and handle the three of you the same, even you Anzu." Yugi says sweetly, too sweetly for their liking.
A big gulp decides them to turn their attention to Atem who is wearing a loose sweatpants. "How are you feeling man?" Joey asks carefully.
"I handled worse, this was nothing compared with what I already have endured." He says with the same evil glint in his eyes as Yugi has. "But in order to help Yugi he is going to train me when you are doing a peeking Tom again so we can double the pleasure." His tone makes them step back.
Looking to the clock, Yugi tugs Atem's arm and pulls him to class. "You think you can where your leather after school?" Yugi asks concern, he went a bit over-bored with the tiny whip and Atem had this morning allot of pain.
"Maybe, otherwise I tell them I fell with my bike and landed on the pipe Little One." He says while kissing Yugi on his head he walks over to the teachers stand, it's a common rule during exam they will be seethed by the professors choosing. "Sennen front row third seat." The professor says handing Atem his papers. Atem nods gives Yugi a hug for good luck and goes to his place.
"Muto, seventh row second seat." The professor says handing Yugi his papers. "You may work as long as you deem necessary, if you finished your papers you can hand them in silently and walk out. Start now." The professor says when he sees all students are present and seethed. The students start to work while he watches them closely with the eye of a hawk preparing for when he sees a cheater he needs to give them a zero.
After two hours both Atem and Yugi are the only two left, they are just finishing up their paper and rereading their work, when a person walks inside the college room. He waits patiently at the desk from the professor who is giving him curious looks but reminded silent for his two best and favourite students to finishes up.
He knows they always take their time, to reread everything three times before being satisfied and hand it over. If all his students were like this. He also knows of the special connection the two have, and how attached to the hip they are, how they work as a team and also argue as one, he even knows if these two men graduate, they will be a great addiction to the archaeological field with an amazing knowledge about especially Egypt.
Yugi stands, he is satisfied with his paper and walks down the stairs towards the professor's desk, placing his paper down and awaiting his boyfriend until he also is satisfied when the stranger places his hand on Yugi's shoulder and with a silent gesture asks if he will follow this man.
Yugi nods and they walk out, as soon as the door closes the man embraces Yugi which makes the youth tense up completely. "What is the meaning of this?" he manages to ask the man.
"I'm sorry, I had hoped I had find you sooner son." The man sobs in his neck making Yugi very uncomfortable, he uses his dominant strength to push the man roughly away and stepping back.
"I have no idea what you are talking about, but I am most certainly not your son!" he says with his most dominant voice.
"On the contrary, you are my son, and from what I can see a real Tomson, I'm so proud of you kiddo." The man says and wants to hug Yugi again, but Yugi steps back again leaving the man pouting.
"One. The only two allowed to call me Kiddo is the person who raised me and their partner, and that is not you. Two. I'm not born a Tomson, I was born out of a Muto 20 years ago and raised by a Muto for just as long! Three. I don't like to be hugged by strangers but only by my friends! And Four. I never saw you before so why the mushy talk?"
"But son you are my blood, as I am your flesh. Your sisters are willing to meet their brother and only heir of the Tomson family. Because I am your father." The man says placing a step forward hoping Yugi will jump on him now. "I pull you of this place and show you the work of a real man I find you a nice wife and you will grand me with many grandchildren, and we will be a big happy family son."
"Wrong! My blood runs by the Muto family as does it's flesh, I have no siblings as I am an only child because my so called father is nothing more than a sperm-donor who was to ignorant to use a condom during the deed and ran away when he saw he gave my mother and himself the responsibility to take care of a child! And you will not pull me off this university because for what I'm studying right here is a man's job!" Yugi says.
"Solomon did feed you with lies son, you are a Tomson! We will change your name and you go with me so you can give me many grandchildren! And what kind of a job is looking for old people who died long ago?"
"The history is amazing, it makes us learn how they did it thousands of years ago and in surprises you how many old cultures were way ahead of their own time, that's why I have such a great respect and wat to learn more about them! Grandpa didn't feed me lies, my mother left me a letter in which she explained how you left her, I am proud to be a Muto but will change my name only when I am asked for my hand in marriage by my boyfriend!" Yugi says and for he can react a slap hits him under his eye. The man didn't hit him hard, but this place in particular is still very sensitive and the skin easy breaks there although it happened a few years ago.
"He raised a fag! I will cure you from being one!" the man shouts and prepares to strike Yugi again, only to be stopped by the tan hand of Atem. A few security guards near the four men because the professor rushed over to look at the injured Yugi. They take the man with them and leave the professor handling the two youths.
After Yugi has given a bandage on his cheek and lots of comforting kisses and hugs from Atem to calm down the adrenaline rush inside his body, the police knocks the door where they give a statement and the man who claims to be Yugi's father is arrested.
A bit dazed both boys go to their grandparents shop and hope grandpa can explain one thing or another, only to be surprised there with a Egyptian male and female. Atem freezes in his steps, he knows these two and is not ready to meet them yet.
The female spots him first runs over and gives the elder youth a bone crushing hug. In Egyptian she speaks towards Atem telling him how much she missed him and hopes he can forgive them for being fools. When Atem looks into the woman's eyes however he sees no regret or whatsoever. He pushes her roughly away.
The male not please by the youths action walks over and backhands him only to be stopped by Yugi who is still pissed about the situation with his own so-called father, and the only one toughing his boyfriend like that is him! "I've had enough on my plate when my sperm donor enter the university and claimed to be my father, he backhanded me also and almost demanded me to come and live with him, and believe me mister, you don't want my wrath now so Back off!" Yugi spats in perfect Egyptian.
The female and male both back off stunned that a Japanese boy who looks so innocent can be so powerful with words alone.
"If you want to talk with him, I suggest you speak English and respect the English culture, don't try and speak another language to confuse us, we are fluent in all, otherwise I advise you to walk out through that door!" Yugi says in English this time. The two boys, the grandparents and the strangers walked up to the living part of the house, grandpa gives Yugi an icepack to hold against his cheek.
"Atem, why are you letting that servant boy speak for you." The woman asks not pleased with how the elder male interact with her mother in law, and how this boy holds her back in hugging her only child.
"Yugi, let me introduce you, the two who wanted me dead when I was in coma and still had enough chance to live." Atem says with a sigh. "Mother father, this is Yugi and his grandfather Solomon Muto, and they are in no means servants, they are more family to me then you were the past 21 years!"
"No! You are our son, that woman will be arrested for kidnapping you, we take you back home and introduce you to your wife!" Atem's father says with a stern voice.
"To bad I'm an adult, and if I want I can get both of you arrested for attempted murder, grandma saved my life father, if she wasn't just as selfish as you I indeed was dead, but she believed I would pull through and I did, I'm even stronger then I was before I fell into that coma!"
"You will come home with us! Marry a good wife we already have chosen for you to continue the Sennen bloodline!"
"Strange to know how much my so called sperm-donor had the same idea when he gave me this today! But just as the Muto bloodline will stop by me-"
"The Sennen bloodline will also stop with me. I had hoped I would do this under happier circumstances but you give me no choice." Atem cuts Yugi off and goes after this on his knee. "Yugi, the two of us have since we meet each other a bond beyond just lovers, I know you are my one and only and I hope you feel the same, will you do me the honour of become my husband until death part us both to the afterlife?"
Yugi knows this isn't the real day of when Atem would want to ask him that was the day they moved into their apartment, they wanted to tell their grandparents today the big news, but still for Yugi it feels as good as real, he nods his head up and down, tears in his eyes
"No we already have chosen a wife for you, she will give you many healthy kids."
"To bad father, but I already made my decision by asking the one I love, not because you believe we still live in the past where arranged marriages are normal."
"But Atem, baby, this is a beautiful girl, look see the pictures." Atem's mother says and pulls out pictures of a girl, Yugi looks and feels sick in an instant.
This girl is a pretty thing indeed but it's obvious she is still a child, maybe 11 or 12 years old if not younger.
"Are you planning to set me up for paedophile?" Atem asks with venom in his voice. "How old is this child?"
"Old enough to give you a heir."
"How. Old. Is. She!"
"10 it's a legal age to give you strong and healthy children." The man says.
"And how old was you when you married him?" Yugi asks the woman with the same venom as Atem has.
"I was 14 when I married and 15 when Atem was born."
"And how much age difference is between the two of you?"
"One."
"So you were four years older than this girl back then, do you know your son is 21 and in the culture we live in marrying a girl that age is consider a crime? Your son can end up in jail for raping a child eleven years younger!" Yugi shouts angry and walks to their old bedroom where he starts to cry.
"If you didn't end in that coma you could have already been married by now!"
"Are you really this ignorant? The two of you wanted to kill me when I was in coma! And now you truly believe I accept you back in my life? You abandoned me the moment I fell into that coma! I suggest you leave now before I call the police for attempted murder, and pushing me into rape of a ten year old girl 11 years younger than me. I bet the poor thing only just got her first period!"
With that Atem show the two Egyptians the door luckily for them they are wise enough to leave. But Atem isn't ready just yet, when the two are gone he calls the police to make sure his parents are arrested high places or not.
When he called he goes to his fiancé to calm him down.
When Yugi is calmed down, grandpa and grandma fixing dinner together, they talk with their grandsons about their proposal and both give them their regards, grandpa also tells about Yugi's dad explaining he probably got cold feet when his sperm wasn't active anymore, he probably had hoped his firstborn was a boy and would be running in his arms, sadly because he never singed the birth certificate he can only be called Yugi's sperm-donor.
The police arrived that same evening with the announcement the Sennen's were arrested and in the land of Egypt they were wanted for child abuse they would be send back in a few weeks until then they were behind bars.
Mister Tomson however they needed to set him free, he had no crime record to be hold into custody, but he was given a fair warning not to seek for Yugi ever again.
