Yo what up jay here (hopefully people still wanna read this lol) sorry for taking like literally a year to update no real reason other than me putting it off but it's time for my inner consistent author to come out.

Also please ignore the age gaps not making sense i just noticed it so fuck it hopefully y'all don't mind

Begin

Naruto was frozen in place still even while Tracy was talking "hello Naruto are you listening" as he started snapping to unfreeze Naruto. It worked as Naruto started rubbing his blond hair while grinning"sorry for that it's just such a honor to be your student and meet people i looked up to"

Tracy and Harden laughed "don't sweat it kid remember at some point we were in your shoes to we both admired the greats also" Naruto just nodded and got into the SUV

"Also did I forget to tell you about your 1v1 with Harden again" Narutos eyes shot wide and he spit out a bit of the water he was sipping "oh no" is all Naruto said as he cried to himself the whole car ride about his dignity

Time skip

Bam

Naruto on the floor again for what feels like the 300th time "man your defense is awful" Harden says with a smile while nonchalantly dribbling back to the logo and throwing up a logo shot for the added disrespect

"Dammit why the fuck are you so shifty" Naruto has never guarded someone that moves so smoothly and elusively with a ball in their hand it's like it's on string. Harden just laughed and helped Naruto up "it just comes with the game and it eventually slowing down for you it gets easier bro, I was just trash talking earlier i see all the potential in the world for you seriously man" Naruto just nodded still extremely embarrassed from getting a 1 on 1 cooking lesson from the Beard himself

"Ok that's enough i seen your defense for what seems like the 5000th time lets see that offense" Tracy said from the sideline. Naruto smiled finally my strong suits is all Naruto thought

Time skip

Naruto was completely exhausted dribbling between his legs sizing Harden up, Naruto did a quick cross into a hesi then burst towards the rim. If this was just a normal defender not Harden he probably would've been long gone but no Harden showing his defense was right there not fooled at all.

Naruto seeing Harden getting ready to guard the rim Naruto decides to surprises him with a pull up middy from a little inside the free throw line. Harden was genuinely impressed and surprised since the mid range is a lost art in the league that few guards are extremely good at.

Tracy just starts clapping loudly "good good i like what i see alot from you kid your a very creative scorer" Naruto smiled while trying to regain his breath "thanks coach T I'm glad your impressed"

Tracy nodded apparently approving of the nickname coach T "you still got alot to improve on to be ready for the big leagues kid but i got a whole year to make you the greatest student i ever had and the best player you can be" Naruto nodded seriously ready to soak up all the advice and work as hard as he can to become the player he always wanted to be.
