Hello, WolfQuest writers! This is my first time ever writing a story about wolves, and I just recently bought the Early Access version of WolfQuest 3 (AKA- WolfQuest Anniversary Edition) I bounce between several different fandoms, but once I bought the game, I got the idea to write a story about my young wolf, Amira. I will list her pack members and such before the actual story begins. If I get reviews, I'll continue, but if not, which I understand, I'll discontinue. What's the point of writing something if no-one's gonna read it? Anyway, I hope you enjoy! (Disclaimer- I don't know how often this will be updated. But I'll try.)
Pack information: Amira's birth pack is quite small, only consisting of her, Indie, her sister, and her brother, Topaz. Her parents, Amazon and Briar, are the alphas, and a couple more wolves live with them, having previously been lone wolves. Her mother was raised in a sanctuary, because when she was a pup, she was accidentally hit by a vehicle. The humans inside picked her up and drove her to the nearest sanctuary, where she was eventually released after she'd finished growing. Her father was raised in a pack of his own, until he left as a dispersal and started the pack Amira was born in.
Alpha Male- Amazon. 5 years old. He's a huge black furred wolf with silver markings around his eyes and muzzle. An older male, he's used to fighting and chasing invaders out. The father of Amira, Indie and Topaz, they are his and Briar's second litter. His eyes are a piercing orange, much like Amira and Topaz's own eyes. He has a long scar from the left side of his throat, spanning all the way to his chest. His pups like to joke about it, saying, "Papa got beaten up by an old, sick bear!" and enjoy teasing him about it. In reality, it was not an "old, sick" bear. It was a mother grizzly with her two cubs, and Amazon happened to be in the wrong place. He survived without any major injuries accept the scar. He is forever scarred mentally, however, and hates bears with a passion. He also has a torn right ear, and he is partially deaf in said ear, as a result of the bear's attack.
Alpha Female- Briar. 4 years old. Briar is a beautiful, golden wolf with light brown markings. Her eyes are pale green, which seems to be quite rare, and the only pup inheriting her eyes was her daughter, Indie. Briar is a kind, loving mother, just as she herself was raised by her own mother. She and Amazon met while hunting the same cow elk. They'd argued, but whilst they were snarling and snapping at each other, they reconciled, somehow completely forgetting about the elk and letting it go in the process. Briar decided to stay with Amazon when he asked her to be his mate, and since then, they'd started a small pack in a little patch of forest in Yellowstone. Because of her kind nature, while our hunting alone one morning, Briar rescued a young wolf from a hunter's trap, and took him to her and Amazon's territory to heal. Amazon had been furious, threatening to chase him out. Briar convinced him otherwise, though, and that young male brought his sister in, too. Amazon and Briar accepted them in (the former more hesitantly.) The two mates sometimes accept wolves who are starving or injured. Briar always asks Amazon's permission, and he always agrees because he loves her so much, and admires her kindness.
Chayse- Hunter. 1 1/2 years old. He's the wolf Briar saved from death. He isn't an important character, but he still gives a little humor. Chayse's fur is mostly white, but he has gray and blackish markings on his ears, back, shoulders, and tail tip, as well as his muzzle.
Ice- Hunter. 1 1/2 years old. Chayse's sister, a young female. She sometimes helps Briar care for her young puppies, but mostly she'll help her brother hunt for food. Like Chayse, Ice's fur is white and black, but the darker fur is barely visible because her white fur is so thick and fluffy. Her eyes are not blue, surprisingly for her name, but dark brown. Ice and Chayse share a special bond, having been together since they were born.
Shilla- The pack's oldest wolf. 7 years old, miraculously. Her name is pronounced "shil-la." She acts as a grandmother to the pups, and they love her dearly, just as she does them. Shilla was found by Briar and Amazon, near death from sickness, near the creek that runs through the area. Taking pity on the old she-wolf, the two mates took her into their pack and nursed her back to health, and Briar especially bonded with her, seeing her as a mother figure to a degree. Shilla is calm and wise, as most elderly wolves (and other animals) are, and her yellow eyes always hold a far off, thoughtful look. Her gray fur is quite short, and her muzzle is white with age.
Topaz- Pup. 4 months old. Topaz is the oldest of his litter of 3, an intelligent, tough pup. When playing, he likes to pretend he's pack leader, protecting his sisters from danger. As you may expect, Topaz has dark golden/brown fur, with orange eyes to match. He has a special bond with his sisters, and loves them very much.
Indie- Pup. 4 months old. The middle puppy, Indie is the definition of an angel child; sweet, calm, and thoughtful. Indie loves to hear Shilla's stories, always asking to hear another one. "Just one more! Please??" Indie looks much like a mix of her parents, a medium brown with a tan underbelly and muzzle. She also bears and large resemblance to her sister, Amira, except with pale green eyes.
Amira- And, finally, the main character! Amira is a pup, 4 months old, of course. She's a feisty, sharp tongued puppy, stubborn and headstrong. She's hard to steer, sometimes getting in trouble with her scrappy nature. Her orange eyes blaze like fire when she's angry, but she loves her pack to the very end. She often dreams of being a strong alpha, and can't wait to be on her own one day. (Not that she wants to be away from them; she's just independent.)
