I believe I promised a baby name... I am here to deliver!

I do not own Marvel. I know, it is a travesty.

TapTap

"She's wonderful, yes," Tony Stark was peeking at Doctor Strange's baby girl over the shoulder of Doctor Banner, as Ironman himself refused to touch a baby that little. Somewhat surprisingly, Bruce Banner had no such hold-ups. The cloak of Levitation hadn't protested noticably either, though it had insisted on unevenly draping itself over one of the doctor's shoulders to keep an eye on the baby. That didn't faze him in the least.

"Isn't she," Doctor Strange smiled down at the baby, finally getting handed her back by his colleague, in a flutter of cloth as the cloak moved at the same time, settling on its humans shoulders. "Little Alice Sophie Strange, you are perfect."

"Moving as this is, could we get on to business?" Fury looked suitably uninpressed, but he also was sneaking looks at the baby when nobody as looking at him. Captain America was the only one who was obediently sitting in his chair at their conferance table, but he looked rather bewitched by the little one.

Captain Marvel looked more patient and interested than Fury did, but she didn't make a move to hold the baby - happy to go along with the baby talk but not truly interested, quite the opposite of how Fury looked at things.

"That's right, Mordo. Is he dead yet?" Ironman had about as much patience with the actual meaning of the meeting as Fury had for its distractions. Natasha smirked at this, but remained silent.

"He ran into a cat called Moose and it was a humbling experience, apparently," Clint, shoulder to shoulder with his best friend and working partner, looked like he didn't understand himself what he'd just said.

"He - the cat - is a favourite companion of Goose, who isn't quite a cat, though she looks it." Captain Marvel took pity on him. "He was a decoy at the time, as I understand."

"Yes, but it was not needed. Mordo is not very clever," Fury looked like this was an unforgivable offence. Maybe it was, in his book. "He thinks he's a strategist, but is rather not." To Fury, this was clearly even worse.

"Right. Where is he now, then. Deep dark hole?" Tony Stark was sitting next to Doctor Strange at the conferance table in his own tower, chair the wrong way around, still more interested in the baby.

"He is safely in Kamar-Taj. The alien entity known as Goose has been very helpful in ensuring he cannot escape," Wong, standing near the other sorcerer, spoke dispassionately, though he too was peeking at the baby. He had finally been allowed to hold her, but it had taken days for Strange to hand her over.

"Fine, great, all done. Science, anybody?" Tony Stark was already rising, causing Elice and Clint to snicker, though nobody payed them any mind.

Bruce and Doctor Strange proceeded to indulge him, while some of their number did the actual work - Fury, Wong, Captain Marvel and Elice - and the rest quickly joined the Cloak of Levitation in coing over the baby, who was passed between the Black Widow and Captain America.

And no surprise was had by anybody.
