A/N Whoa! Totally did not expect all the hate for Saidie. Lol.I totally get where people are coming from. I was beginning to think she was a little too perfect myself, which is why I've been trying to address that through the character of Claire. Claire sees something in her that the others don't; she seems to know that there is more to Saidie than the perfect little pastor's daughter image. And that's what I've been trying to build up to. Claire is forcing Saidie to admit that she's not so perfect and that she's tired of having to pretend to be. My story has been heading in that direction for a while. Saidie is not a phony person; she truly is genuinely nice, and it makes Claire own up to her own flaws because she realizes she had a problem internally, so much so that she can't even imagine that there is someone else out there who genuinely is a good person.

I know that in this country especially, people are suspicious of anyone who seems too perfect. Which is crazy to me. But I get that in this day and age it's natural to believe that someone like Saidie is too good to be true.

Interesting that people are just now starting to come forward with their hatred of Saidie; because I've got the next probably 10 chapters already mapped out and there is a definite change in her ahead. This last chapter was meant to foreshadow that she is unhappy, and something happens with Brian to finally push her over the edge and accept herself for who she is and confront it; instead of having to be so diplomatic all the time. She begins to let loose a little and embrace some harsh realities about who she wants to be in life, and it brings her closer to both Bender and Allison.

So be looking out for that. Lol

Perfect timing on those reviews, then.

Are there any other people who dislike Saidie? Does that mean you're Team Claire? What are your reasons for disliking her? I'm really curious because I both saw it coming and totally didn't see it coming lol.
