Based on the ending of episode 25 Season 6 but with my own story and I have changed the names of the detectives because I cant remember their names.

Terri thought she heard a noise. She was probably just hype vigilant after the day she'd had. But she got up from her chair and put her glass on wine down and went to investigate the noise. On her way around the house she saw the two detectives who were in charge of Rose's case about to ring the doorbell. As she stepped forward she felt a hand across her mouth and another around her waist. She immediately knew it must be Vincent Soames and tried to fight and scream but he dragged her out of view of the door and his hand over her mouth muffled her screams. The cops knocked a few more times and then left to go see if she had perhaps returned to the hospital to finish some work. They had to find her before Vincent Soames did. Her life was in mortal danger.

Vincent Soames had finally managed to tie Terri up and oh he was having fun. Terri lived alone now that Mitch had passed away, so there was no rush in what he had planned. Unlike the others that he had killed, no one would find them before he was finished with Terri.

Detective Manning and his partner arrived at Ward 17 just as the day staff were leaving. Both Nelson and Von said that Terri had not returned to the ward after the detectives had taken Terri and Vincent Hughes to the safe house. The detectives didn't tell the staff why they were looking for her and just said that if they spoke to her she should get in touch with them. The detectives however were very worried about their inability to find Terri and decided to return to her house to see if she had gone home yet.

Upon their arrival they thought they heard muffled voices and furniture moving. They knocked on the door again.

'Sister Sullivan, it's Detective Manning and my partner. Please open the door if you are home.'

They waited for a response but none came. They instinctively knew what to do. Detective Manning would break down the front door while his partner would go around and gain entry to the house from the back. Vincent Soames moved Terri to where she would be visible from the front door. He stood behind her and held his arm around her neck. As soon as Detective Manning broke door the door Vincent was ready.

'Stand back! If you come any closer I will put this poker through her face.' Terri was terrified. She was struggling without Mitch and she knew she wasn't coping with all the stress she was under, especially with being charged with Rose's murder but she didn't want her life to end like this. She could still feel Vincent's hands over her body but she was glad the police returned before he had raped her. She just hoped this wasn't the end.

Suddenly she hear the other detective behind them and Vincent threw her to the ground. As both detective charged and tackled him to the ground, Terri crawled to away from them.

'Are you ok?' Detective Manning asked Terri with his knee on Vincent's back as his partner cuffed him.

'Y yyess' she stuttered. Only then feeling that she had crawled over broken glass and landed badly on her right wrist.

'Stay there. Don't move.' Detective Manning said seeing that Terri was in shock. They manoeuvred a very verbal Vincent Soames past Terri and out the door before Detective Manning returned and crouched down beside a shaking Terri.

'Terri, I am going to help you to stand and then lift you over the broken glass.'

She just nodded and gave him her hand. As she stood up her knees almost buckled under her.

'It's ok. I have you.'

Detective Manning slowly guided Terri to the dining room table where she could sit down properly.

'My shirt. I want my shirt.' She softly as she was just sitting in her vest.

'Okay. I will get it. But I want you to stay here okay?' It was clear to him that Terri was overwhelmed and he didn't want her trying to move around on her own.

He went into the room where Vincent Soames had kept Terri and returned quickly. He could see what Vincent was planning for his victim and was glad they had returned to the house when they did.

'Sister Sullivan.' Terri didn't respond. 'Terri.' She looked up to him. 'Here is your shirt.'

'Thank you.' Terri said finally regaining some of the strength in her voice. She groaned as she put her right wrist in the shirt.

'Can I let the ambulance people in now to take a look at you?' She shook her head.

'Terri you have injured your wrist and are showing signs of shock. Someone must see you.' He knelt down beside her.

Terri's mind was in over drive. Just hours ago, Vincent Hughes, a colleague, sat with her in the safe house and told her that she was displaying her emotions to her work colleagues and friends to get sympathy. Obviously it came from a man who hadn't let himself grieve over his own wife's death but still the words had an effect.

'My life has been a mess the last three months. I…I just don't know if I can let the hospital grapevine start again.'

Detective Manning felt for this woman. She had obviously been through a lot in the past few weeks, much of which he didn't know, and now the one place she needed to be was the place she was avoiding to conserve her privacy.

'We can maybe take you to another hospital?' He offered.

'Nah, it wouldn't help and my records are at All Saints.'

'Ok, so how about we take you to the hospital ourselves and that way at least you skip the ambulance people.'

Terri knew there was no other way to get treatment and she knew her wrist needed to be seen to so she agreed. She got up a bit shakily and got her handbag. Detective Manning stayed close by in case Terri needed assistance. When she got to the door she stood there looking down at her keys at a loss at what to do now that her front door was broken.

'Officers will stay here throughout the night to secure your house. Don't worry about that.'

As they drove to the hospital Terri tried to think who was on duty and what story she could spin. She really didn't want rumours going around again. She'd had enough of that for now. She knew that eventually the stories would come out but right now she needed as little fuss as possible.

She decided to tell the detectives that she didn't want them to come in with her as everyone knew they were investigating Rose's murder and although hesitant they agreed to her request. She went into emergency.

'Hi Maureen.'

'Terri, you are here late tonight.'

'Um, yeah. I had an accident at home and I think I have sprained my wrist. Do you think I can get back there and see someone?'

'Sure Terri. Shame. Come right in.'

Thankfully most of the staff who she knew well were not on duty so she didn't run into them. The fact that she was part of the hospital's staff meant she got seen to rather quicker, but it still took a while. She knew she should tell them about her other injuries but she didn't. About two hours later she walked out the emergency room to find a message on her phone that Detective Manning had sent an officer to drive her home. As she look up she found the young officer and got into his vehicle.

'Thank you for driving me home.' She said as she got out the car.

'My pleasure Ma'am. There will be someone outside your house throughout the night and tomorrow until your doors are fixed.'

'Thank you. Good night.'

'Night.'

Terri greeted the officer at her door and went inside. For a few moments she stood looking at the broken glass, the overturned chairs, the mat, and a few other things that had been displaced as she fought for her life. The last time her house looked like this was when Mitch lost control due to his brain tumour. Suddenly everything from the last few weeks came crashing down on her and it was too much. She left everything as it was and went to the bedroom and cried herself to sleep.
