Ace and Deuce had been sailing in the open seas for days. They had just managed to escape the island they were deserted on and defeat the giant birds. But they were still getting nowhere. Ace was too tired to use his devil fruit and propel them.
Ne, Ace, Hmm? What is it Deuce? Ace responded. Nothing it's just is that a person falling from the sky…? Huh what are you- THUD- A man with green hair, a scar over his left eye and three swords.
"Oh it's a mystery person, think he'll join the crew?I mean he looks pretty strong".
He frickin' fell from the sky!! And you wonder whether or not he'll join the crew! "Sigh" what kind of captain did I join…
Oh come on don't be like that Deuce, be positive! Also about the mystery man how bout we call him marmio… it fits right? I guess, but what are we going to do if Mr. Marmio here decides to attack us when he wakes up? Deuce questioned. We'll think about that when it happens! Ace concluded.
Hrn.. mm… ughh. Oh look Deuce we don't have to wait he's getting up! Wait Ace, what if he's dangerous.

My eyes flickered open, where? where am I? Or no that wasn't important, I had to find Luffy and the rest of the crew. Slowly I get up and take in my surroundings, I'm on a small boat which is seemingly floating in the middle of nowhere… And there's two other people on the boat… Ace, Luffy's dead brother and a masked guy with blue hair. * sigh* seriously Luffy, just what have you gotten us into this time… we were in Wano before, and now we're stuck in the past. But- * Hey!
A voice interrupted his thoughts
Hm? Zoro responded. I'm Ace, that's Deuce, nice to meetcha! Likewise. So marmio you always fall from the sky? Oh… it's uhh complicated.. THE NAMES ZORO, NOT MARMIO. Okay, okay sorry Zoro. Say wanna join my pirate crew! It's just me 'n Deuce right now, but we'll grow in no time! *Pff he invited his brother's first mate to join his crew! But it might be easier to find Luffy if I have Ace with me… I'll guess stick with him for now.*
I can't permanently join your crew because I'm already part of a pirate crew. But my crew is currently scattered across the world, it'll take awhile to find them so I suppose I'll temporarily join your crew "captain." Heh, it's better then nothing, but I am kinda curious to meet this crew of yours… are you the captain? Ace asked. No I'm not. Then what-Zoro put his hand up-
It'll be more fun as a surprise, no? Nah your right. We won't ask anymore questions about your crew. Ace decides.
As the sun set, for miles and miles you could hear echoes of laughter as the three chatted and got to know each other better.
