Written In Stone - Inked In Skin
Regular tattoos were always a thing. Other people's names on your body on the other hand was actually illegal. There was only one name that was ever suppose to be tattooed on your body and that was the name of your Soulmate that was inked into your skin naturally by fate.
Soulmate tattoos came in only when the time was right. Although most people did get their anywhere between 16-24. Some people got them much older, and only a select few got theirs when they were very young. The thing was you never knew when you were going to get yours until you did. Soulmate tattoos didn't come on one specific area. Throughout time people have had their tattoos come in on their arms. legs, necks, ribcage. feet, you name a body part, a soulmates name has probably been there. This has never stopped people from dating before their Tattoos come in. Most people do it for fun in the mean time, some do it it hoping they can catch a little extra time with the ones they "just know" is there soulmate even before fate steps in and tells them for sure. This as you can probably realize on your own, doesn't work out the best for most of them. But once the deal is sealed, or skin is inked, it always works out in the end. This obviously doesn't mean every relationship is perfect all the time. You're going to have bad times, fights/arguments, disagreements, ect. Nothing is perfect and you have to work at whatever it is you do to well, make it work.
