Even though he was severely injured, badly enough that he might bleed out if he didn't get medical attention before too much longer, Izuku wasn't out of the fight just yet. Gritting his teeth against the pain, he pushed himself back onto his feet, even though the buzzing in his head told him doing so was a bad idea. The telekinetic arms appeared once again, the ghostly appendages coming out of his shoulders as he readied himself to fight more. Both villains eyed him warily.
"Jeez, you just won't go down will you?" Yoru quirked an eyebrow at him, "Still, you're going to be moving more slowly due to your wounds, and you're outnumbered now. I'd tell you to give up, but anyone who shrugs off a knife to the stomach is probably too stubborn for that." She brandished her dagger and shot a glance towards her companion, "Come on, let's end this quickly."
The other villain aimed his gun at Izuku, while Yoru shifted her stance slightly. The buzz of Izuku's quirk warned him that the villain with the gun was about to fire. Before he got the chance to however, another buzz sounded, warning him that the villain was about to be injured. Izuku didn't have very long to puzzle over this confusing new piece of information before something slammed into the gun wielder so fast that Izuku could barely make out a blur as whatever it was rocketed past. A massive gust of wind followed in its wake, kicking up dust and the villain was thrown into the side of the train.
"WHAT THE FU-" Yoru's panicked cry was cut short as a blow connected with her chest.
"Missouri SMASH!" The powerful chop hurled her into the wall of the tunnel, cracking the concrete from the impact. Gravity peeled Yoru off the wall and she was unconscious by the time she hit the ground.
Standing in front of Izuku, with his back facing the teen, was an unmistakable figure.
"A-All Might!" Absentmindedly, Izuku wondered if he was currently delirious from blood loss. Because there was no way that the Number One Hero had actually shown up to save him when all hope had seemed lost.
At the sound of his voice, All Might turned to face Izuku. The Number One Hero's face bore a look of concern.
"Mi- My boy, are you alright?" All Might asked. Then he seemed to notice the blood flowing down Izuku's face and arm and the growing blood stain on his stomach, "You're hurt."
"D-don't worry about me." Izuku said. His quirk chose that exact moment to buzz louder, almost as if to tell him not to be a dumbass. He ignored it, "There are more villains, you need to stop them first."
Before All Might got a chance to respond, one of the doors on the train burst open. Jumping out was a tall man with a falcon head, followed by several other villains carrying firearms. They took one look at All Might, and their eyes collectively widened with shock and fear.
"Ya got to be fuckin' kiddin' me." The bird-headed villain took a step backwards, while some of his companions started running in the opposite direction. Then, his face hardened and he raised both his hands towards All Might, while the hero quickly moved between Izuku and the villain, "I ain't runnin' from anyone. Not even you." Suddenly, the villains hands glowed with a burning light, "Eat this! The power of the sun!"
Blinding light filled the tunnel, and Izuku felt the temperature around him start to rise. All the while, his quirk was buzzing like mad, warning him just how dangerous this villain's quirk was.
It lasted less than a second though. A sound like a canon going off rang out, and the light died as the bird-headed villain and all of his companions were thrown backwards down the tunnel by a blast of wind pressure from one of All Might's punches. When they all hit the ground, none of them got back up.
Turning around, All Might crouched in front of Izuku with a look on his face that the boy couldn't quite place, one that looked odd to see on the Number One Hero's face. He looked concerned, saddened, and pleading at the same time.
"Young boy, I have to go and stop the rest of the villains. If I don't hurry they could hurt someone else." All Might's voice was soft as he spoke, and Izuku wasn't sure if he'd ever heard that tone from him before, "I'll be back in less than a minute to help you."
"I understand perfectly." Izuku replied, because he did. As far as he could tell from his quirk, there wasn't anyone immediately in danger at the moment, but that could change at a moment's notice, "Please hurry. There are more people who need your help."
"Thank you." All Might said, and took off like a bullet down the tunnel.
Izuku just stood and watched the spot where the Number One Hero had been for a moment. His mind slowly started to process the fact that, holy crap! That was All Might!
Izuku probably would've started vibrating with excitement if his exhaustion hadn't finally started to catch up with him. Carefully, he tried to sit down. As he tried to lower himself down, his legs gave out and he wound up collapsing onto the floor. He decided to just lay there on his back, hoping that All Might would be back soon. Because, while judging by the volume of the buzz in his head, he wasn't in danger of dying in the next few minutes, he was still in an unbelievable amount of pain.

It didn't take Toshinori very long to defeat the rest of the villains after he left young Midoriya. One of them had a quirk that was causing the blackout, like he had guessed when all this began. Knocking out that villain wound up restoring power to the area, and Toshinori immediately called for aid. In the end, it took him all of a minute to stop all the villains and get back to Midoriya. As soon as he returned to the green haired boy, he administered first aid as best as he was able, using one of the medical kits kept on the train to stop the bleeding until help arrived.
To anyone else, it would've seemed like a truly impressive accomplishment. And under different circumstances, Toshinori might've been proud of how quickly and efficiently he resolved the situation. Instead, he just felt like a failure.
At least one civilian had been killed while he had been standing around doing nothing. He wasn't even the first person to try and do something. That had been young Midoriya, and the boy had suffered because of it. No child should have to go through what he just went through.
But he did, all because Toshinori failed to act first.
When he first found young Midoriya, bloody and injured, he wanted to get him to help as fast as he could. Just pick the boy up and carry him to the closest hospital and leave the other villains in the tunnel. But there was no way he could've done that, no way he could've possibly left all those other civilians in danger. Thankfully, Midoriya knew that too, and he wanted Toshinori to go help everyone else first. It helped to ease his guilt at leaving the young, wounded teen in the tunnel.
Now, as he watched young Midoriya being loaded onto an ambulance, he let out a sigh that was equal parts relieved and tired. Bizarrely, it seemed like the boy had more energy than he did. Midoriya remained conscious throughout the entire wait for help to arrive, and he had been very talkative. While Toshinori was used to starstruck eyes and endless questions from fans, it caught him a little off guard just how perky the boy was after being stabbed and shot. He could only assume the adrenaline from Midoriya's fight hadn't worn off yet.
"All Might." At the sound of the familiar voice, Toshinori turned to see Naomasa approaching him, "Are you okay? You look tired."
"Today was mentally exhausting." Toshinori told his friend, his smile slipping from his face.
"I heard about some of what happened to Midoriya." Naomasa said.
"I should've acted sooner." Toshinori muttered darkly, "If I had slipped away as soon as I realised what was happening-"
"Toshinori." Naomasa said quietly as he placed a hand on the hero's arm, "It wasn't your fault. You can't always blame yourself. Besides, Midoriya's going to be okay."
"We don't know that yet." Toshinori pointed out. The boy had only just been put on the ambulance, there could be any number of complications or unknown factors at this stage, "And even if he is, he still went through something he shouldn't have had to. He's missing part of his ear for God's sake." Naomasa only gave a small 'hmm' to that, but otherwise didn't have anything to say.
"I need to talk to you about the villains." Naomasa changed topics, which Toshinori was grateful for.
"Right, do we know anything about them?" He asked.
"I actually recognised a few of them." Naomasa said, pulling up two photos on his phone and handing it to Toshinori so he could better look at them. Immediately, he knew one of the pictures as the bird-headed villain, "Akagi Yoru and Muto Haru. They're both wanted internationally for assassinations, theft, terrorism, and more. They're villains for hire, as are the rest of the villains here, and they make up a team called the War Pigs. It's a good thing you were here to stop them, they don't make a habit of leaving witnesses. It's probable that they would've killed everyone on the train once they were done. We haven't gotten a chance to question them yet, since they're all unconscious, but it's incredibly likely that they were hired by someone to attack this train."
"They mentioned that they were retrieving something that had been stolen, as well as looking for the thief." Toshinori handed Naomasa's phone back to the detective, "So, it's possible that someone might have stolen from them directly instead of it being a job."
"Some of the other passengers we've talked to mentioned that they were looking for something, but none of them could tell us what it was the villains were trying to find." Naomasa said, "I don't suppose you know?"
"No, I heard as much as everyone else. I have no idea what exactly they were trying to get. Or who they were looking for, though it sounded like they didn't know the identity of the thief either." Toshinori said.
"We're going to have to look into everyone on the train then, as well as search the entire thing." Naomasa sighed, "This is going to be a long case."
"Is there anyway I can help?" Toshinori asked.
"No, this is police work now." Naomasa said, "You should head home and get cleaned up, you're covered in blood."
Looking down, Toshinori saw several red stains on his t-shirt, pants, and arms from when he gave Midoriya first aid. Right, it wouldn't do for the Symbol Peace to look like that. Plus, he needed to get changed before he could visit the boy in the hospital.

"I see. Thank you for informing me." Once the call ended, All For One had to resist to crush the phone like it was a very expensive stress ball. He had better self control than that. Even if he could buy another one trivially, the villain had made a habit of always appearing in control and didn't want to let that slip. The fact that he was alone at the moment didn't matter.
Instead, he ran a hand over his bald head, and allowed himself to make a noise that was a cross between a sigh and a growl.
After all the effort he went to in order to locate those arrows, this happened. Those arrows had practically disappeared after Passione collapsed almost a century ago, the ones that weren't claimed by the Speedwagon Foundation at least. Those had been destroyed. All For One had spent over a decade searching for those mysterious arrows, sifting through rumors, and old witness reports and news stories. Years spent chasing after something that most people had never even heard of, and the ones who had dismissed it as fantasy. And when he finally, finally found them, they were snatched from his fingertips.
The arrows' previous owner had died from a heart attack, and they had been found among his possessions. Quickly, word reached All For One and he immediately sent someone retrieve them for him. But someone else had gotten to the arrows first.
So, he hired the War Pigs to get them back before they could get too far. It wasn't the first job they had done for him, nor was it the first time he hired them for something related to the arrows. A few of their members even knew of the existence of Stands. He had trusted them to get the job done, and they probably would have if he hadn't interfered.
All Might.
It seemed almost fitting that, of all the heroes who could've possibly shown up, it would be him of all people who foiled his plans. As if All For One hadn't been screwed over by the man enough as it was.
Who knew who had the arrows now. It could be the original thieves, the police, or even the Speedwagon Foundation at this point. But if he ever found out who stole them from him, he'd make sure they'd regret it.
Assuming they don't become to dangerous from the arrow's power.
What do you get when you combine Izuku "I can shatter every bone in my hand one at a time, multiple times and still fight" Midoriya with JoJo's "I can keep talking even as a shark tears out my throat" characters? Probably the fucking Terminator. I don't know if I'll ever actually reach that level, but expect Izuku to get fucked up pretty badly over the course of this fic, and then treat it like he got a paper cut.
Of the two named villains, I tried to give them names that were related to their powers since BNHA loves to do that, though I just randomly generated their last names.
Next chapter will involve Izuku's stay at the hospital and then this little arc will finally be over. Then I'll get back to the more miscellaneous slice-of-life chapters that I have absolutely no clue how to write.
