Please read note.

I don't own stand by me.

Hey everybody welcome to my new story. Yes I know that I still have several story I'm working on and some of you have been waiting for them to be updated. But every time I have a new idea from a story I try and write it down immediately so I don't lose the idea.

Now I'm hoping to get back to working on be my baby and he who haunts the attic. I'm halfway through the third chapter of green eyes meets yellow, and I'm in the middle of editing chapter 36 of Angler. And I've done a little of the third chapter in dandy crane. If any of you guys read them.

and one more thing, i have no idea if the Hannibal Lecter books were out in 1959 but i dont care, i mean hey it's just a story right.

Places listen to the songs if you haven't heard them and please, please, please leave comments so I know what you all think.

happy readings :).

also please note that I do have dyslexia. I'm not ashamed of it because it is something I cannot control but I am self-conscious about it. so a lot of my words are miss pelt and many, many of the sentience's are a little back to front. I can't tell you the amount of time I've gone to reread something that I have wrote but couldn't even understand what I was trying to say.

Rag doll chapter 1 Rag doll by Frankie Valli and the four seasons.

"Ballshit you never got to second with her".

"Ball true we was in the back of her old man's car behind the drive in". the lanky pale blond ran his longs finger though his thin hair. "you remember right Billy?. It was the same night you and Connie had that big fight…. Then you made up". Charlie looked down feeling uncomfortable hoping none of his friend couldn't see his blush.

"I remember us making up". He smirked to himself as he flipped through his magazine. "but that's all buddy…. Sorry".

"see, never happened". Eyeball smirked smugly while leaning back and placing his arms behind his head. getting in to an relaxing position and closing his eyes. Enjoying the warm day.

"ohh shove it eyeball". Charlie throw a twig at his friend and frowned. Annoyed that the browned haired boy didn't believe he could get to second base with a babe like Sissy Pams.

The older chambers boy chuckled.

"why don't you both shove it, some of us are trying to have a relaxing afternoon here". Jack Mudgett said through his teeth while laying on his back on top of his car.

"so sorry for disturbing you while you getting your pressure tan". Eyeball replied snarkly.

"I'm not trying to get a tan. It ain't no crime to enjoy a nice sunny day is it?".

Eyeball scoffed.

The cobras were lounging around in Ace Merrill's back yard, sitting in the middle of a clutter of old cars that Ace and the boys had been fixing up.

"so Billy…. You and Connie finally umm". Vince looked up from the car park he was working on and smirked.

Billy shook his head and signed.

That answer was enough for his group of friends. He and Connie Palermo a girl form the local castle rock high school had been going out for the better half of nine months. She'd occasionally tag along with Billy to hang out with the guys. normally at Irby's Billiards bar, the guys didn't mind to much as long as she didn't talk a lot and did make a fuss about the things they did.

"I don't see they you don't just dump her already". Eyeball sat up. "it ain't like your get any anyway. Is there a point?".

"hey I didn't just put almost a year in to this shit just to leave with nothing to dig me. It's personal now…. it's me against her".

Ace chuckled without gazing up form whatever car part he was working on. "the chick goes to church every Sunday what did you expect".

"yeah Eyeball's right man, just blow her off already". Fuzzy nudged his shoulder.

"can't".

"why the hell not".

"one word".

"and that is?".

"tits".

The gang nodded and shrugged. The cobras weren't known for having the prettiest girlfriends. Mainly because all the girls in castle rock they would go out with were all the ones that put out.

"do you think she will though…. Because all those good girls". The older chambers brother mimicked a posh voice that made Ace scoff. "up in snob hill are all waiting for marriage I heard".

"Eyeball why do you care so much…. it real weird". Billy glared at him.

"just making conversation". He throw his hands up. "it ain't like there's that much to do today".

"so you chose my sex life as you source of entertainment".

"don't you mean none existent sex life?".

"HA, HA". The slightly bigger boy whipped his cigarette at chambers. "damn you need a girlfriend".

"or just to get laid". Mudgett snickered.

"PA girlfriend". The chambers boy shook his head.

"no really if you had a sex life of your known maybe you'd stop bugging me about mine. Plus you'd be able to come out with me and Connie, get her off my back about her having somebody to talk to". he grumbled.

"I don't need no girlfriend you dig me".

"you don't need?... or you can't get". The lanky blond grinned.

"ohh". The boys mocked.

"hey…. I can get a girl".

"that don't explain why your always alone then?".

"your pushing it Charlie… and I could get any girl I wanted".

"yeah you tell'em buddy". The leader of the gang sarcastically piped up.

"hey I could".

"bet you couldn't". Charlie snarked back.

"alright then".

"alright then what?". Charlie asked confused by Eyeballs reaction.

"what did you wanna bet?".

"umm haa".

"umm haaa, come on Hogan pick your Poison. What did you want to lose to me?". He smirked smugly. He hopped up form his seat and walked over to the front of his car.

"man when did you get so cocky?". Vince snickered.

"around 10th grade when he lost it to Mandy Harris". Ace laughed and throw a rag at his best friend. which Eyeball caught and began to clean his bonnet.

"you have to clean and walk my dogs". He said quickly said without missing a beat.

"what?". Eyeball looked up.

"yeah that's what you gotta do…. for the pet. My mum's been getting on to me about it for weeks. So if I win then that's what you gotta do".

Eyeball hated the idea of spending the day looking after those three mutts. All they ever did was lick you and leave hair everywhere. Eyeball hadn't told the other guys but he had an allergy to dogs. It wasn't something he was embarrassed about, he just didn't want to hear all his friends taunting him about how it was the funniest thing in the world. That eyeball chambers couldn't go near a dog without sneezing or breaking out in to an ugly red rash. "right then… you have a deal".

"whoa". Billy clapped his hands together. "now….. who is gonna be the unlucky lady?. Or are you just gonna pick at random when we get to school next?".

"what about Pam Green? I heard she slept with Donny Clark last year after one of his football games". Fuzzy put in, still on the top of his car.

"Na if Eyeballs gonna go for anyone it should be Marcie Peterson. She's always hanging around us. remember 8th grade when…".

"hey". Charlie cut Vince off. "can you guys not make it easy for him. I'm trying to win a bet here remember, I need my dogs cleaned".

Vince shrugged.

"Cindy mins…. I know for a fact that she's waiting until she's got a ring on her finger. I know because I tried it with her and she slapped me behind the bar".

"when? When did you try it with Cindy mins Fuzzy. No I don't believe that". Billy chuckled.

"if I was making it up then why wouldn't I just stay I did it with her then?".

"well he's got you here Billy". Ace glanced up at him for a split second then continued to ignore them.

"Dina marks".

"Na… she's too…. She's too….. stick like". Eyeball had an grossed out looked on his face. it was ture though. Dina marks was a thin girl with long dark stringy hair that went down to her lower back. she wasn't an ugly girl but he was still put off by how slender she was. If she were to bend over you could see her rib cage and spine through her outfit.

"what's wrong with her being stick like?. It ain't like she's Jilly porter or anything". Billy and the guys laughed. Jilly porter was known as the fat girl in school. In reality she wasn't that big of a girl but that didn't stop people and her cheer leading friends from calling her fat behind her back.

"Carla king?".

No her lips are too big, reminds me of a fish too much".

"Sara snarks?".

"Your kidding have you seen the size of her head?". eyeball squinted at Mudgett.

"Quinn berry?".

"she's way too happy all the time, I don't get that. how does somebody even relate to a person like that". he shook his head.

"yeah she's always smiling and laughing. Like…. What's there to even be happy about". Vince agreed with Eyeball.

The boys continued to call put names.

"Edythe wells?".

"looks too much like Carla King".

"your all wasting your time". the group turned to their leader who wear a smirk. "6ecause I know who the lucky girl should be".

There was a pause.

"well man?". Vince said waiting for the blond to talk.

"Ada….. Bloom". He clicked his tongue.

Eyeball groaned as the rest of the cobras chuckled.

"now that's a challenge". Charlie said excitedly taking a swig of his beer. 'well hey I may get my bogs cleaned after all'. He happily thought.

"really….. Ada Bloom?". Eyeball looked at his leader like he was crazy.

Ace smirked and lifted his eyebrows. "what's wrong Eyeball?... not up to the challenge buddy".

The chambers boy scoffed. "first of all…. She ain't no challenge. Second of all she's a freak, I'd rather go out with Jilly porter. At least that way I wouldn't have to talk to her all night about dumb cheer crap, she'd be too busy stuffing her face with food all night to even notice I was there with her. so Ada Bloom is a hard pass".

"I heard she moved here because her father tried to kill her and her mother….. over a ham sandwich". Fuzzy said.

"what?... that didn't happen". Vince took a gulp of his drink.

"I'm not saying there the stone cold facts but just repeating what I heard". Fuzzy was tall and thin like Charlie, But his hair was thicker and brown. Not anything like Charlie's stickily light blond.

"could be true…. If he was like….. mental or something". Billy continued to flick through his magazine without looking up.

"explain her then". Mudgett scorned.

"yeah well I ain't interested in finding out". Eyes muttered to himself continuing to clean his car.

"eyeball". Ace said in a slow silky voice. His right hand gazed up at him. when he saw the expression on the blonds face he felt sick. Knowing what that look meant. "go out with Ada Bloom". He simply said, his facial expression unwavering.

'One thing about Ace was that he doesn't have to say shit in a demanding way, he don't gotta intimidated you nether. Cos when he say something you do it….. and that's it'. eyeball groaned. "why?".

"because I said so". the blond leader looked down and began to start on his car part.

"come on man…. She ain't nothing". He whined but stopped when Ace looked up again.

"eyeball….. do it".

'ya know…. I ain't a homo….. but I love the guy. But like I said…. not in a guy way. if it wasn't for my actual brothers I'd say he'd be the closest thing I have to one. and because of his I don't like talking bad about him…. but sometimes I think he's kinda like that Hannibal Lecter. From all those books …. Ya know but without the cannibalism. Just doing shit for the hell of it to see how it plays out. He can be a real sick bastard like that'. the chamber boy thought bitterly.

He didn't want to tell him he wasn't gonna do it. even though it hadn't been any of his business in the first place. Even though it wasn't his bet to make. if Ace wanted to have his fun it was easier just to let him.

Ada Bloom: somewhere at the sometime.

Sitting under a willow tree on a sunny hot day, reading her new book was Ada Bloom. Ada Bloom was a 16 year old girl going on 17. she had light green eyes like Lilly pad and light pink lips like Meadowsweets. She had the longest light blond hair the colour of a ducklings feathers, that went all the way down her back. But no know knew that though because she'd normally wear her hair up in an hat, or a hood. Shielding it from the rest of the world. And it was the same with her eyes as well. She never looked anyone in the eyes in school, so even if the other kids could tell if they where green or not they wouldn't know how green.

Ada wasn't a tall girl, She only stood about 5 feet 3. She was a curvy girl too, Ada had the body of a hour glass but like her hair and eyes not a soul could tell.

She was currently living with her single mother, who told her to keep a distance from the other kids at her school once the two lady's had moved to castle rock.

So when the young girl would attend she'd wear loser fitting clothes that hid her body from the other students. Not because she was embarrassed by it, she knew that she'd get quite a bit of attention if people were to figure out that she wasn't the shape of a pencil. But even before she moved to castle rock she was told to stay away from other people. Her mother didn't feel comfortable with her daughter getting close to anyone. So most of her childhood she would go without friends. But she didn't mind. 'you don't miss would you don't have do you". she thought.

Ada thought of herself as an divergent person. So anytime she'd have an opinion about a topic she'd normally have more then one. she could talk to herself for hours and hours on end debating on all sorts of things. She knew how to keep herself amused.

The reason why her and her mother Nora had to move to castle rock was because Nora had decided to leave her step farther. He wasn't the worst man in the entire world but he was by no means a good one. he'd drink and he'd constantly pick on every little thing her mother did. Nora wasn't perfect either. She could pick to and be horribly judgemental and spiteful. Then on top of that be terribly manipulative, but at least Ada could understand how she got that way.

The short blond couldn't remember her actual farther. Her birth farther had passed away when she was only little kid. She doesn't have many memories of him but the ones she does have are happy ones. She even remembered how happy her mother was….. it was a long time ago. But the last memory Ada had of her farther Rory was at his funeral.

'I remember his white coffin being slowing lowered in to the ground. I remember standing above it looking down wondering why did he have to leave us. I remember holding my grandfather's hand who was trying not to cry in front of me. I remember looking up and seeing my mother being held up by my aunts and my grandmother, because she was so distraught and devastated by the loss of my father…. Her husband she couldn't stand up on her own. But the thing that I remember most… was the way she look at me when she look up. To this day I still can't figure out what that face meant. I couldn't read it. here was so many emotions flickered over and over again in that one expression. I couldn't tell if she wanted to hug me or spit on me, I couldn't tell if she was just up set or in some way blamed me for his death. I don't know how I could be blamed for his death… I mean hell to this day I still don't know what he died of. she'd never told me'.

Ada placed her book mark between the pages and lent back towards her tree, gently closing her green eyes.

'from that day ford mum was different towards me. I don't know why. I wouldn't say uncaring because I know she loves me, But over time she crew cold and distance. Sometimes even before I go to school she'll look at what I'm wearing to make sure that whatever I'm sporting that day wouldn't draw attention to me. I don't really mind because after the death of my dad she all but taught me to dislike the people around me. So it wasn't like I was trying to impress anybody anyway. So I'd always show up to school in baggy close that, hiding my body and long blond hair. Making sure that no one would have a reason to come up to me. And god forbit if anyone ever did I was told to repelled them somehow. Which once again I was fine with because most of the kids in school were assholes anyway. It isn't a hard thing to do….. repelled a person. You don't have to be rude or ignore them… just tell them you'd like to be alone….. and if that doesn't work then be rude to them. which…. Also wasn't a hard thing to do. but not because I was taught it, oh no. over the years living my now ex step day I picked up a few things… like his bad temper. I would never mean to….. not really but I have a tendency blow up at people when they piss me off. like constantly asking me questions…. Or the some questions over and over again, or getting stared at or picked on. and there just some of my triggers. And because of all this….. it means I'm a freak… an outcast…. But like I said before I guess…. You don't miss what you don't have. '.

"ADA!". A voice called from somewhere behind her. she shut her eyes and slid down there tree not wanting to be bothered.

'ohh great'.

"ADA!". It called again.

"WHAT MUM?!". The younger girl called back.

"I'M GOING OUT!". Then that was it. Nora didn't say anything else. She didn't tell her daughter were or why she was going…. She just left.

Nora would do that often, just leave Ada alone without any warning. Not telling her a time when she would be back either so when it come dinner time Ada would have to take care of herself. Then she'd have to make something up or her mother as well because she knew if she didn't Nora would come back and ask not so nicely why she didn't make any for her.

"of course you are". she muttered to herself quietly.

At school on Monday.

"do you see your girlfriend yet Eye?".

"shut up Vince". He punch the other boy in the shoulder, Who laughed.

The cobras were sitting on their cars in the school's parking lot waiting for the bell to ring. Chambers had been dreading this moment all weekend. After the cobras were done hanging out at Aces it wasn't brought up again until money morning. 'the truth was I was hoping the guys would have forgotten about it by then but I was wrong. It's all they could talk about when I picked then up this morning. All I've hear all morning was 'when's your girlfriend gonna be here buddy?. Or remember to wear a condom'. But the worst was when they'd make kissy faces. I didn't even want to imagine killing that chick. Hell I don't even really know what she's looks like. The weirdos always looking down and never talking to anybody. And when I hear she had spoken to someone it's because she was telling them to kill themselves or something fucked up like that. she doesn't have any friends and she's always alone. I mean come on how ugly do you have to be to not have any friends". Eyeball watched the school doors from the hood of his car, almost wishing that Ada would be sick that day just so he didn't have to be seen with her. 'ohh crap I didn't even think ab out that. what are people gonna think when they see us together?. What am I meant to tell people?. School work?. class project?. Well fuck that wouldn't work too well, everybody in the school knows that us cobras barley do any work as it is". The chambers boy exhaled

"you know..". Eyeball looked up to see Charlie looking at him. "if you really don't want to go out with the freak…".

"no". Ace said from the car park steps, he had a smoke in his mouth as usual. "he's started something new he has to finish it". he spoke calmly.

Charlie seemed panicked for a split second then composed himself before any of them could notice, especially the blond leader. "ya I know that Ace…umm HAA…. I was just gonna say that he could…. he could leave it be and just clean my dogs after school. Make my ma get off my back faster". He laughed, praying that Ace wouldn't call him out for it.

"how long does he have?". Billy asked. He was leaning on the steps wall and like the cobras leader, he was too smoking.

"what do you mean?". Charlie asked his friend.

"I mean I think Ada Bloom is a fair bet but she still is a ruff deal. How long does he have for her to agree to go out with him before he loses?. Because lets face it….. it's Ada Bloom…. She's gonna need some work".

The think blond thought about it for a moment. "well yeah okay…. I guess that's fair…. Ace". Charlie turned and look at the other blond in the group. Almost like he was waiting to get his approval, just so he would get mad.

"what ya looking at me for… do what you want?". He shrugged.

'and in typical Ace fashion he'll go hot and cold with the drop of a hat'. Eyeball thought.

"kay". Charlie nodded. "Eyeball…. You got a week to get her to go with you. and if she doesn't… a lose". He said looking proud of himself.

Eyeball looked back up just in time to see Ada bloom shuffling her way inside of the school. 'how does she even walk in all those clothes'. He shook his head.

Fuzzy noticed this looked followed his gaze to where he was looking. The moment he saw Ada he grinned. "heyyyy look Eyeball it's your girlfriend".

"ohh fuck off". he jumped off of his car and began to make his way over to the door. without saying bye to his friends. But he could hare laughter behind him.

"hey Eyeball remembered to wear…".

"remember to wear a condom got it". he throw his hand up giving them the finger without looking back. which coursed them to laugh harder.

Inside the school.

Ada was going through her locker trying to find her sketch book for her art class when Eyeball spotted her. as usual the sorter girl has her hair tucked in to the back of her jacket and was wearing layers of clothes, so she didn't look appealing to him at all.

"come on were are you?". she grumbled looking for that book. But then Ada moved one thing and a few book came crashing down from her locker. She looked up to the ceiling and signed. She bent down to pick them up but as she did she noticed someone else get there first.

"here". Eyeball passed them to her. she took a hold of them a stood back form him.

"thank you". Ada turned to walk away when he stopped her after grabbing her books of off him and closing her school locker.

"you Ada?". Eyeball put on a smile and spoke.

"yep see ya". she continued to walk.

"hey wait".

The blond girl stop dead and turned around to look at him, while also trying to look down at the ground. 'ohh great what's this about?'. she thought hesitantly. 'what would he want'. She glanced up at him for a moment. Ada knew she had seen him around but couldn't place who he was. "what?".

"me and you…. we don't talk much do we". He lent on the lockers and grinned.

"I don't talk to anyone because people suck". She answered without missing a beat. Ada started to feel uncomfortable. It wasn't everyday this happened. 'normally when the other kids come up to me is because they want to call me names or something. Sometimes they just want to see how I would react to them is they had heard the stories about me. Ya know…. the stories of me cracking up at people. So I don't know this is going…. But I don't like it'.

"hey you won't get an argument here babe".

'good lord he just called me babe'. She fought back rolling her green eyes.

"ya know what". He took a step toward her.

"no what?". Ada was already sick of this conversation and wanted to get to class. She like getting here as early as she could to get a good stop. Mainly at the back or closest to the window. She like sitting next to the window on days in was raining so she watch sit here and watch it.

"I was thinking…. We should get together and… ya know….. talk some more about how much other people suck. What do you say pick you up at 8:00 ". Eyeball smirked cockily at her.

"no". the smirked fell from his mouth, she turned again but he grabbed her elbow.

"whoa, whoa, whoa wait a minute now'. he lightly pulled her back to him. "why not? Got plans or something?".

"no". she went to leave again but he didn't let the short girl go. "could you not touch me". She said through her teeth.

"come on we could have a lot of fun. I'll show ya a real good time babe. Come on give me a chance, you'll have a fine time…. I promise".

"what are you deaf I said no?!". she ripped her arm away from him.

His eyes widen, he was taken aback this by. He hadn't excepted her to be so…. ford. 'okay…. maybe I should of thought this through a bit more before I talked to the crazy bitch'.

"what wrong?... I could show you a good time. it ain't like I'm askin ya to strip for me or nothing". Eyeball frowned.

She glanced up at him again and looked at his face…. like really looked at it. and then it hit her…. she knew who this boy was. 'Richard chambers…. AKA Eyeball fucking chambers. member of the cobras and right hand man to Ace Merrill, leader of the infamous gang. The gang that constantly run amuck around castle rock. Why the hell is he talking to me?... this doesn't make any sense…. I truly didn't think he even knew who I was. I've been one of the luckier ones at this school who have been able to fly under the radar of the Cobras….. or at least….. until now. I don't get it…. there just isn't a reason for him to be talking to me'. And then it hit her. it hit her why he would be talking to her. 'ohh I get it?". she said glaring at the floor, still not making eye contact with the chambers boy.

"get what?".

"so…. what do you get?".

'oh shit'. He thought. 'bit how would she know… surly she doesn't know about the bet and she just means something else. Just keep you cool….. okay'. "what do you mean?". he crossed his arms.

"what do you get…. If I go out with you?. or did you lose something and that's why you're talking to me?". The way she looked at him was like she was exhausted. 'of course that's why he be asking me out. I can see it in his eyes'.

"what bet? there was no bet, you're crazy".

"yeah that's what they call me". Ada said quietly to herself. "why else would you be talking to me then HA?. Because I don't see a reason…. Now leave me alone". She sprinted down the school hallway before he had the chance to say anything else. All he could do was to stare at her as she ran.

"a week….. I still got a week… what a long fucking week it will be". He said to himself groaning.
