Our last night. Planks brothers were looking around their bunks nostalgically, yet ready to do what they were born to do. Mishap was supposed to be back by now but, if Plank were to guess, they had probably held him up to make sure. Mishap wasn't the strongest trooper, physically.

Once everyone except Eavs, Planks only friend-ish brother, was tucked away for the night Plank worked up the courage to ask Eavs a question before he left.

"So. What have you heard about the Jedi, Master Mliss?" He asked with just the right amount of curiosity.

"Not much, though I heard she's a healer, with incredible skill at everything needed in a war zone. Odd for a Jedi though." Eavs was about to close his pod when he looked at Plank with a cheeky grin.

"You're not hoping to join her legion are you?"

Plank missed the joke, "Wait, mate. First of all what is a healer and Second of all where did you hear that she had a legion?".

"You know me Plank," Eavs said casually" I hear things."

"Yeah" Plank snorted,"Like with the mynocks?"

Defensively Eavs protested," That was an honest mistake! And this is Not like the mynocks."

"Mmhm."

"Well," Eavs said eager to change the subject, " I think a healer is healing someone with the force. Must be nice doing it Jedi style." Pausing he looked at his chronometer. "Anyways, we should get some rest. Big day and all tomorrow. Being put in our own legions. Night."

With that, he closed his pod. Well, the dreaded moment had finally come, thought Plank, sighing. Silently slipping off his pod he was thankful that his soles muffled the noise. A few minutes later, though it seemed like a small eternity, Plank was only a corridor away. Unknown to Plank though, Brik and EL-Les were arguing at the next turn.

Flinching slightly, almost too late, Plank heard them and pressed himself to the wall. As their voices began to fade he cautiously took a step forward to double-check if they had completely disappeared; jolting forward far too quickly, Plank fell flat on his face, calling the attention of the unsuspecting bounty hunters.

"What do we have here?" Brik smirked, leering over the fallen trooper."Ahhh. I remember you. The failure from Makeshift squad. Being up after curfew, CT-4690 is an automatic fail you know. "

Carelessly Brik lifted Plank up by his arm and held on, firmly.

"So what are you doing here anyway?" He demanded, clearly enjoying his humiliation.

"Brik," EL-Les said sharply. Turning kindly to Plank he asked the same thing, but in a tone that suggested he was speaking to a frightened Lothal Cat. Plank opened his mouth in a desperate attempt to tell them but a soothing voice interrupted him.

"Brik, EL-Les, relax, Plank is my guest. I invited him here." Now it was Mliss's turn to use her diplomatic power against them.

Brik, to his obvious disappointment, let go of Plank and begrudgingly said to his companion," Come on, let's go get some sleep." Mliss stood there a moment more as the bounty hunters left the scene.

Mliss gestured to the docking area, "Let's head to my ship, shall we?"

"Yes sir. Thank you for back there. I could have and probably would have, got in a lot of trouble."

"No problem, Though I guess I should have told them you were coming. Sorry about that."

As Plank made his way up the ships small ramp he finally got a proper look at the Jedi master. Interestingly, Master Mliss's Jedi robes were altered so that she would blend into almost any atmosphere. The only hint that she was a Jedi was the twin lightsabers that hung loosely on her belt. Her skin was a light tan colour and her hair was dark brown, wavey, and fell down past her shoulders. As is characteristic for miraluka. Only a Jedi could get away with having that slightly bedraggled hair on the top levels of Coruscant. Where her eyes would be a cloth band wrapped all the way around her head, designed purely to cover her empty eye sockets.

Sensing Planks observations Mliss turned slightly and gave him a 'Don't worry' smile. Skimming the basic structure of her ship he marvelled at how non-Jedi it looked. Not in any way suitable for a Jedi master. Plank had almost forgotten the sinister reason he was invited onto the ship. Almost. Upon arriving inside, Plank was surprised to see Mishap sitting nervously on a chair, in the kitchen, awaiting Mliss's return.

When their eyes briefly locked he realized that Mishap didn't know why he was here and was as startled to see Plank as he was to see him. Poor guy, Plank thought miserably. He's here to fail too.

"Please Plank, sit," Mliss said, making it clear that it was a suggestion, not an order. Obediently he sat down stiffly.

"To clear up all misunderstandings I am not here to fail you." She said with a humorous smile, knowing full well what Plank expected to find tonight. From Mishaps relieved sigh, the thought had obviously crossed his mind too. "I am here to help you. Both of you in the last 24hrs collapsed and I am going to clarify things."

At that Mishap looked at Plank concerned, as he never went to the medical bay.

Ignoring his look Plank listened to Mliss as she continued," I know how it happened, but first you're going to tell me." Mliss turned to Mishap. " So why did you collapse? Tell me only the truth" She added on as an afterthought.

"I was too caught up in training Sir" Mishap lied, never missing a beat.

"Indeed." Mliss said not in any way convinced."Plank?"

Mliss was looking at him differently. Trustingly. Kriff, why was she so nice!?

"Well, we sorta... um.." Staring intently at the floor, not daring to meet her 'gaze' he quickly lied " We were going to fail so we trained and... forgot. As Mishap said."

"Well, I don't think that's how it happened. You wouldn't risk your final test and your entire career by 'forgetting' to eat." Pausing Mliss allowed this to sink in. In which also allowing Planks guilt to further deepen.

"This is how I think it happened."
