"Good morning Sly. "Mliss greeted him as he entered the training area.

"Morning Sir. "

"So as far as I can tell," She said getting directly to the business," your brothers call you sly because of Your affinity to sneak up behind people."

"That is correct Sir. "

"Well to me, it seems like white isn't a good colour for that."

"Sir?"

Mliss carried on undeterred.

"And if you're close enough to a droid you need something to take it out with. "

"Sir, "Sly said cautiously, "Are you suggesting I alter my armour? Is that even allowed?"

"I am your commanding officer. Anything is possible. One more thing. Since our squad is quite small, you don't have to use formalities. You can be official or you can just call me Mliss. I don't mind, it'll just make things easier."

"Ok, thanks."

" What armour alterations do you want?"

"I have a few ideas..."

1 Hour Later.

Sly put on his new armour with satisfaction. Dyed a semi-dark grey now it was made for stealth. The eye slits were now going aways around his helmet enabling a wider awareness range. The more bulky aspects of the suit were removed to make it lighted and to mute any access noise.

Mliss scanned the new armour happily, "Now for the fun part."

Sly looked at her confused.

"Weapons. Hand to hand weapons." She explained." I was thinking forearm Vibro-blades for one."

"Yes! Let's do it!"

Mliss brought out two armoured forearm braces; in place of regular armour, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

"All you need to do is forcefully jolt them and two deadly blades with extend. Here try it out."

Sly forcefully jolted his forearms and two Vibro-blades appeared. He waved them around and marvelled at the humming sound, not unlike a lightsaber. Mliss smiled,

"Now I'll teach you how to use them."

Mliss went over to the cabinet and pulled out a noticeably smaller pair of blades.

"Don't go easy on me, I can use the force to protect myself if needed."

"If you're sure," Sly said with unwavering confidence.

They stood in the middle of the room and they simultaneously went into guarding stance. Mliss saw the jolt when his blades were activated and too activated hers. For a trooper known for stealth, Sly moved obviously and openly, he relied on force rather than skill Mliss noticed. Sly, tired of defence, lept forward clashing his blade with hers then leaning backwards to reverse back kick her. Seeing it a mile away Mliss took advantage of his lost equilibrium and shoved him aside. Deciding, for training purposes, to play the long game she allowed Sly to get back up. Seeing that he had no chance to win using force, he let loose an attack as random as a roll of a dice. Steadfast in her smooth defence, not one thrust managed to reach its goal. Instead, Mliss swept a low kick under Sly's legs knocking him to the floor forcefully but not enough to make him stop fighting.

"Hand to hand combat is like any combat. You cannot rely on force or numbers to win, you must seek out an enemy's weakness. Use it ruthlessly against them."Mliss said as he was rising. "With droids, it's their lack of adaptability. With people, it is their singular fighting style and habits. Find my examples."

Sly rose with confidence but with the knowledge that he has a lot to learn.

"I'll try that."

Mliss adapted her fighting style to make it obvious that she attacked only when necessary. Sly, taking the hint switched to defence forcing Mliss to make the first move. Throwing a purposefully clumsy punch Sly got in her defence throwing her back with a punch and an attempted slice with his blades.

"Very good Sly. You improved your adaption skills tenth-fold. Now, we shall work on your tactical skills."
