Mliss sat down onto her padded pilot's seat, preparing to meditate. There was darkness in the future, and unexpected light. Scowling, Mliss was left ignorant of any answers she sought to find.

"Light can you wake me when we're ten hours away?"

"Of course Mliss."

Settling deeper into her comfortable chair, she wondered what the future held for her and XYZ. Whatever the Force was trying to tell her it wasn't great. Maybe if she penetrated the Force farther, she would discover her answers.

110 Hours Later...

"Mliss, "Light Barked clearly not for the first time."We are 10hrs away."

Sitting up, Mliss unfurled herself from her meditation pose.

"What may I ask are you going to in the next ten hours?" Light grumpily said.

"I am going to search through the database. Anything that feels similar I will download it to my wrist holoprojector."

"Feels?" The doubting reply came.

"Yup

Taking the turbolift down to the lower floor of her ship, she then entered the data-vault.

"Now," She murmured," We find what's going on here."

On Siccitas

Lowering the cables, the Shinies descended the wires to the planet's terrain.

"Ugh," Sly commented as their feet sank slightly in the wet sand.

"Let's just get to the coordinates, so we can get off this soggy rock." Snipe remarked.

Plank gathered up his courage and took command.

"As Siccitas is absolutely flat it should be relatively easy to get to the coordinates. There is a high rise of rock about two clicks away. There is a long catacomb of tunnels that run through it. We'll keep to the left side of it, to avoid the sun."

Camo with Sly had casually disappeared, which was almost impossible as each way you looked there was only sand.

Sighing, Plank could imagine many, many missions starting out like this.

"Come on!" Sly called from behind the ridge, in the distance.

"How did they get there?" Plank wondered, utterly baffled. "Never mind, let's get moving."

Kamino

"LightPath, It's good to see you, "The clone troopers voice weakly said into the microphone.

Mliss frowned as waves of his pain flowed through the Force. It made her want to reach out and help her. No, she had a bad feeling about that. It's quite a dangerous thing in large amounts.

"Trooper, how are you doing?" Mliss said in a gentle voice.

"I'm not the worst one here Ma'am. But you better get down here fast. No one knows what's happening, even the Kaminoins are baffed."

"Just lead me to the pad, thanks."

" One more thing Ma'am, Rex joined us yesterday so he can help you."

"Thank you again..."

"Com, Ma'am. I'm Com."

"Nice to meet you Com."

"Landing Platform 5."

"I'll figure this out soon,"

"I hope so."

Mliss turned off her comlink with a sigh. I will fix this, Mliss determinedly told herself. Edging towards the deserted platform, she stretched out with her feelings, towards the pain echoing in the corridors. I will fix this.

Siccitas

"I got something!" Snipe said when he looked at his scopes."Whew! Five squads of droids!"

Plank glanced over to his right, where Snipe was looking.

"Camo! Sly! Come and help us destroy these Clankers."

"We're right here." Plank jumped, Force them!

"Well get ready, droids incoming." As if on cue 5 battle droids came out. With a spur of shots faster than any clone could fire, the battle droids were on the floor. Plank placed his blaster back into his holster. Putting it away, he was about to suggest they move on when he saw them staring, dumbfounded at him. What did I do, he asked himself.

"What?" Plank asked, confused.

Sly regarded him with respect, then spoke to him for the first time since the announcement. "I see why she made you commander."

Ok, Plank thought, somehow that went well.

Kamino

Heading down the stairs, Mliss tried in vain to block out the cries of pain. Relief washed over her when she realized it was rather mild.

"Rex, how are you?"

"Fine general. I arrived after the brake-out."

"How long has this been going on?"

"About 2 weeks Ma'am." Rex pale and concerned for his brothers.

Mliss looked at him with a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry Rex, I believe I know what's causing it."

Rex twisted around, shocked.

"The Kaminoins have searched for weeks and haven't found a clue. Now you, without even seeing them, know what the cause is!"

"If you want to get technical, I could say that I can see things from a long ways away. Also, while others have tests to find these things, I have been trained to discover the cause through the Force." Mliss started walking towards the med-bay again.

"I believe it's a variant of the Angor Dalor virus. Have the Kaminoains tried to find any cures?"

"They were told to wait for you."

"If you'll excuse me I must speak to Nala Se."

"Of course General." Rex could have used her Jedi title, using general obviously made him more comfortable.

Smiling lightly, for the first time since leaving Coruscant, Mliss knew she could end this.
