Chapter 7
We head out to the main room a little bit later and he is sitting on a bar stool and I am standing between his legs. I am snuggled into his chest and he's whispering in my ear "I love you." I snuggle closer and he tilts my chin up and says "I love you." I feel the tears fall and he pulls me closer. "You're mine mi vida and as soon as this is done, I'm marrying you." he says and I whisper "I love you more Angel." and I feel him kiss the top of my head. Bishop walks up and says "Just heard from Galindo. They are on the pew." I look at Angel confused. He looks at Bishop and he nods. Angel leads me to Templo and closes the doors. When he walks over to his seat, he pulls me to sit in the one next to him and takes my hands in his. "You know where the dress shop is?" he asks and I nod. "In the basement, is a pew. When Galindo has someone to deal with, he takes them and ties them to the pew and they usually don't come out." he tells me. "Are you going to kill them?" I ask. "Are you okay with that?" he asks as he looks down at our hands. I let go with one hand and tilt his chin up and say "Angel, I'm okay with whatever do need to do. It won't make me love you any less." I tell him. He kisses me softly and I feel his tense body start to relax. "Can I be there?" I ask and he looks at me for a minute and I saw "I need this Angel. I need to be there. I need this closure. I still feel them on me. I see them when I close my eyes, even with you wrapped around me. I still feel so dirty and...just...I need to be there." I tell him and there are tears running down my face. He wipes my tears and says "You stay by me until I go to handle them. Then I want you next to EZ. You understand?" he asks. "I understand. Thank you Angel." I tell him. He pulls me to sit in his lap and I ask "Tomorrow can we go to the courthouse and get married?" He kisses me softly and says "Anything you want mi amor." before we stand up to head out with the guys.
Pulling up to the dress factory, we walk inside and I have my fingers laced with Angel's. Galindo sees us and walks up to shake Bishop's hand. "There a reason you needed these two brought to the pew?" he asks. Bishop motions me and Angel forward. Angel speaks up. "These two thought it was a good idea to rape my Old Lady." Miguel looks at me, looking down at where mine and Angel's hands meet and then back at Angel and says "By all means, do what you need to do." he says before stepping back next to Bishop and says "When he's done, we'll clean up." and Bishop nods.
Angel walks up to them with me by his side. He looks at me and asks "You wanna say anything?" I nod and walk up to them. "You two raped me. You destroyed me." I say. I point back at Angel and say "This man? He put me back together. After today, I will marry this man and have a family with him. But you two? You two will never cross my mind again. You two will be nothing more than worm food. I get my happy ever after." I tell them before walking back to Angel and I kiss him softly. "Do your thing baby." I tell him before walking over to EZ and he takes me outside to get some air.
After Angel tortured them and killed them, he walks out to me and kisses me deeply. He looks at the rest of the guys and says "Tomorrow, we're hitting the courthouse." They all smile and I see Taza walk away with the phone to his ear. He walks back over a few minutes later and says "Vickie will be by in the morning. You're getting a wedding little one. At the clubhouse. No courthouse shit." I look at Taza and smile and hug him before heading back to Angel's arms.
