Ok, let's see...We are doing good.

?: Are we? I mean, this fic ain't that popular.

We are. Now, excuse me if I am not in the mood to be dealing with you, but I am rather down, and things have been hectic lately.

?: I would be arguing, but the little reviews we had were...pleasant. So, for now, I shall keep my nonexistent mouth shut. I do ask the viewers what they think of me and how they imagine I look. Sounds like a funny thing to do to pass time in this void.

Sure, Ghost, you do you.

Anyway, let us begin the new chapter.

At the warehouse where Roman was working his butt off slaving for Cinder, the thief was overlooking the little operation he had going on with her and the Fang. Those goons were, in one word, idiots. Animals who couldn't do one thing right, completely, and utterly useless.

He was starting to miss Junior's goons at this point.

But that aside, he was also forced to plan an attack on Beacon. Not that the idea wasn't pure gold, but the things that will go down are way out of his paycheck. The worst part is Cinder is keeping him in the dark about most details. He was only told to do a job - steal all the Dust in the Kingdom of Vale, causing the prices to spike and Huntsman to run low on ammo and whatnot - and not ask questions back.

At first, he tried to deny her, then he got his arm twisted into accepting it in the end. But this is too much for his morals.

What? You Thought he didn't have any? He does, but not that many. He was still a bastard, thief, murderer, and all of the above. He took pride in all of that. Well, he was not a rapist or living meat Traficant. And definitely not a terrorist.

Yet here he was planning a terrorist attack.

At least Ash had his Dust, that was good, but Cinder is now using that to get the kid to work for her. This just keeps getting better and better.

"Excuse me, Mister Human Boss?" One of the Faunus approached him, this one has a pair of ram horns around its head.

"Yes, what is it?" Roman asked while holding his cigar. He eyed the Faunus closely, noticing how it was acting sort of nervous for some reason. "So? Speak up and don't waste my time!"

"Well...I was told to let you know that the woman, Cinder if I remember her name right, has arranged for someone to join us…"

"Join us?" Roman echoed in concern. Such news was pressing some dangerous buttons in his mind. Cinder did not stay in this place 24/7, so Roman had some slight freedom to try and cook up an escape plan from her clutches. But if she put someone on his back at ALL TIMES, then he's done for. Absolutely done for. "And who is this person?" He asked, restrained anger visible in his voice.

"I don't know, actually. I was only told to relay the message to you. I will be getting back to work." The Faunus ran off as soon as he finished talking, leaving Roman to simply return to his scheming. Things were just getting better.

At least he hoped Ash was having more fun than he was because Roman felt like he was going to bust a vein.

Ash hoped Roman was having more fun than he was, for he had been trapped in a dangerous world. A placed no man had stepped in and lived to tell the tale. A clothing shop for girls.

Out of all things Little Red could've thought of, she chose this. Does she not realize he is a guy or something? Like, Ash understands she is younger and more innocent, but seriously. At least he had his glasses to hide himself keeping his eyes closed to prevent himself from seeing something he shouldn't be seeing.

Roman would be telling him to do otherwise, but the thief did not meet Yang. That girl will snap him in half if he peeks, and anyone in the shop already suspects him of it most likely.

Why did Ruby have to bring them here? Why not some other place like an arcade or, oh I don't know, the Emerald Forest to do some target practice on some Beowolves? That would've been a thousand times better than seeing a beowolf-themed set of clothing.

At least he had his thick glasses, hiding his closed eyes.

Suddenly, Ash heard someone clearing their throat and peeked a bit to look in front of himself. Weiss was standing there looking at him, arms crossed across her chest. "Yes?" Ash asked.

"Care to move out of the way?" She asked back, then Ash looked behind himself, seeing some other clothes.

"Oh, sure." He said moving away and letting Weiss grab a blueish dress from the bunch, but Ash saw it and did the bad thing of actually snorting at her selection.

Weiss simply could not fill that dress. The Gods didn't bless her properly. "What is so funny?" She asked with an irritated tone as she looked at him.

"Nothing. Nothing." Ash replied while putting on his best poker face, trying to dodge the bullet which was Weiss Schnee. But the girl was eyeing him closely. The tension was growing a bit, making him uncomfortable, but to his luck, Yang came in the picture.

"Weiss, I need you to check out this really cool top I found, I need a second opinion!" She said, grabbing Weiss' attention. Ash breathing easily once more.

"Why not ask Blake or Ruby about it?" She asked back.

"Because this top is not for me, Snow Angel! Come on!" Yang yanked Weiss by her hand, pulling her over to where she saw that top. She had dropped the dress, but Ash caught it before it hit the floor, not wanting some employee telling him to buy it now that it was dirty or something, then he set it back where it belonged.

He got back to simply watching from the sidelines, trying to once again forget the place he was in. At least this was a way to skip on some stuff, such as homework, and have an excuse for it. Maybe. Ash was not sure if Goodwitch would buy this as an excuse, and seeing as that woman hates his gut - for a reason unknown to him - it most likely won't.

He brought out his scroll, looking over it and the CCT for news and whatnot. Turns out there was another robbery at a local Dust store. Roman's work by the look of things. Ash understood this is what Roman would've been doing anyway, but not at such a rate. There was the issue of who was getting all that Dust.

If each robbery took all the Dust from each store, then he has already stolen enough to arm a small army. Cinder's reasons for wanting all that Dust still eluded him. Did she also have a Semblance which relied on it? Or is she working for someone? Both of those options were very plausible.

But he decided to not dwell on it for now. He scrolled down some more, reading some other articles. Some stuff about the SDC, news on the Fang, advertisements, nothing new really. Wait a minute…"What is this?" Ash muttered as he reached a certain interesting article.

It was about the train incident from a while ago, the one in which he stumbled across Weiss and killed the Petra/Silva Gigas. That fight was harder than it looked, but luckily, the Geist which made up the Gigas' mind was a young one with little intelligence. It was easy to fight it, and he was lucky there was Dust at hand with Weiss carrying that luggage.

Still, the article had ruled that incident as it had been; caused by Grimm attracted by the negativity on board the train. They did not specify the reason for it, but Ash was a bit curious. He might ask Weiss about what happened there. He did feel the negativity as well that day, after all.

"Yangggggg!" Then he heard Ruby whine from a distance, making him take his eyes off his scroll for a second. He saw yang giggle at something in the changing room. Whatever it was, it was none of his damn business.

From what he knows, Yang might be pulling clothing jokes. He did not want to have her chase him down and hunt him for seeing something he shouldn't. But speaking of which, where was Blake? Ash has not seen her since stepping into the shop.

He put his scroll away and looked around for her, but nothing. And he was not about to peek into the changing rooms like some freak. Instead, he did the only smart thing that came to his mind. "Hey Yang, where is Blake?" The blonde turned to him.

"What do you mean? She is right here- Huh?" Yang realized that their teammate was, in fact, not there. "Damn! She gave us the slip!"

Ash blew some air at that. How can someone not notice when their teammate, and partner in Yang's case, simply vanish? Plus, Blake is some kind of ninja in her own way, with only Ren from team JNPR comparing.

"I'll go look for her. She is most likely at the library looking through the books." Ash said as he turned around.

"Alright!-"

"YANNNNGGGGG!" Then Weiss started shouting, anger in her voice.

"Oh, Gods...She actually put them on."

In the meantime, whilst the girls were doing their thing, Ash was walking through the streets. Vale was a nice city, minus all the bad stuff going around lately. The city really was beautiful. Well, except for the negativity going around. Ash couldn't help it if he was a sponge for that stuff.

Still, he hated the feeling it gave him. Not of disgust, but of power and a lust for bloodshed. If that stuff got too strong, then that was his cue to get out of the crowd. Luckily, he had a clear destination in mind which he didn't sidetrack from.

The library, a place where you can easily buy books and whatnot. Ash had assumed Blake was around here, and so he went inside. He looked around at the place, taking note of the books inside.

But for now, no sign of that kitty. Ash walked around the place, looking for any sign of her, then went to the front. At the front of the desk was a large man with a short-sleeved quarter-zip burgundy and a black shirt with a visible white undershirt. His hair was cleanly cut, and he had noticeable sideburns, along with hairy, muscular arms."Welcome to Tukson's Book Trade." He greeted. "How may I help you"

"Yeah, so, did you happen to see a girl come in? Tall, around this size." Ash made a gesture with his hand to show Blake's height. "Black hair, wears a bow on her head?" He finished, and Tukson hummed a bit.

"She does come around here every now and then, but today was a bit busy, so I might've missed her." He was lying. Ash could tell, although faintly. He had a hint of nervousness in his emotions, which was enough of an indication. As well as a violent tendency. Whoever this guy was, Blake was still hiding things from him.

"I see...And are you sure Blake didn't come around here?" Ash asked.

"Pretty sure," Tukson replied, making Ash smirk.

"I didn't mention her name, nor do I assume a simple book store owner would know every client that comes in. You know her personally." Ash said, pressing on the matter. That was a little trick Roman taught him. Tukson tensed, his arms beside him and the sound of claws stretching being heard through the store.

Ash reached for his own weapon, but then the sound of steps echoed behind him. "Wait! Tukson. It's ok, he is a friend." Blake finally came out of her hiding, the larger man relaxing.

"I take it you are Ash then?" Tukson asked, and Ash nodded. "Blake told me about you. Apparently, you are hiding her little collection."

Ash winced at that. True, he was hiding her dirty smut. "Yeah…" He sighed, then he turned to Blake. "Anyway, the others are wondering where you've gone. You know it's not nice to give you team the slip like that."

"I just couldn't stand being in that shop. I can just see Yang wanting to try and have me get into all sorts of clothes." Blake said walking to the front.

"What's she on about?" Tukson asked.

"Her team and I are…" Ash gulped. "Clothes shopping."

"Oh…" Tukson said, then he turned his face away as Blake looked at him with a confused look. What was about man and shopping? "Well...Good luck, brother."

"Thanks, I'll need it," Ash said. Blake then turned to him. She had not told Tukson Ash was a half Faunus, so why did he call him brother?

Out of sympathy, really. Tukson knows there are places a man simply cannot step in. And clothing stores for girls was one of them. He did remember when Blake told him all their team was girls, so the pieces fell into place easily.

"Wanna head back? Your team is looking for you, and to be fair, you leaving like that was somewhat rude." Ash said looking at Blake, but the girl simply crossed her arms and arched an eyebrow at him. She did come here to get away from them. "I get it…"

"How about this? You call them and tell them you found me so they do not worry." Blake said. "You could also hang around here to escape." Ash never pulled out his scroll faster in his life, then dialed in Yang's number which he got from Ruby earlier. Little Red thought it'd be a good idea to exchange numbers.

The scroll hummed as it was calling on video, then the image of Yang popped up, but she looked like she was holding something up with her other arm. "Sup Ashie," She said looking in the camera, a cheshire grin across her face. She did something.

"I found Blake, but I and her are actually gonna waste sometime around this place. Thought I'd let you guys know as to not worry-"

"YANG! GIVE ME MY CLOTHES BACK!" Came the shouting of Weiss and the growing smirk of Yang, which seemed to be actually holding Weiss' clothes in her other arm.

"Yang? What is going on?" Ash asked, and his voice was heard by Weiss on the other side. Yang gave the girl a mischievous look before turning the scroll at her, and Ash, along with Tukson who peeked over, had the image of their life.

Weiss was wearing nothing but white lingerie on her, the girl immediately covering herself and going back to the changing room. Ash's eyes twitched while Tukson muttered something about 'the beauties of youth' then went back to work."That happened…" Ash said, sighting, then the camera went back to Yang who was laughing her heart out.

"Enjoyed the show, Ashie?" She asked, a coy smile on her face.

"Yang, why'd you think I'd be interested in that?" Ash asked, making Yang arch an eyebrow in surprise.

"Oh, I didn't know you were a player for the other team." Ash nearly choked on his spit hearing her.

"What?! Hell no!" Ash replied strongly, making Yang's grin grow wider. That girl was playing him like a musical instrument and she knew the right notes all over. Damn it, it's contagious. "What makes you assume something like that?"

"I mean, most guys would kill for the image of Snow Angel half-naked like that." Yang teased further.

"YANG!" And Weiss shouted once again hearing her. Ash was so dead when he was to lock eyes with the W of RWBY. It was not even his fault which made it ten times worse in the long run.

"Oh my Gods, Xiao Long…" Ash replied, then decided to end it quickly. Any more time spent and who knows where she might point the scroll at next. "Tell Little Red not to worry about me or Blake, and have a good shopping trip."

"Wait, you have to see this as well-" Ash closed the scroll, the video cutting itself. Why he chose to call via video, he did not know. Did he regret it? 50/50. He knew he was going to face the icy wrath of Weiss later, but with a bit of luck, and a place in the warehouse with Roman, he could survive.

"Everything alright?" Blake asked having heard all the yelling. "It sounded like they were doing some...things." She finished.

"Yang was...being Yang, I guess? Joking around and doing her own thing...on Weiss." Ash said, the image of that lingerie still haunting him until he erased it from his mind. Too bad he was not into washboards. Weiss had her beauties, but she was not his type.

For a multitude of reasons "So, I guess you'd want something to read as well? Since you are a friend of Blake here, I would let you pick something for free this once, how does that sound?" Tukson offered.

"Thanks, I think I need it now, honestly," Ash said, then he went to search for a book whilst Blake did the same. The 2 browsed the store for a while until meeting again at the History section of the store, where Ash picked up a book about History.

"A history book?" Blake asked. "Why that subject?"

"I guess you could say I find history as an interesting subject," Ash replied, then he opened the book. It had events dating since before and after the Great War. Blake leaned over, though, as he reached a certain part of it.

"I remember this from class. The Faunus who fought in the Valean army actually managed to defeat the enemy forces with a nocturnal attack." Blake said.

"I remember as well. The Faunus have a better sight at night then humans do, which offered them an advantage. They attacked and whipped them out." Ash said." I wonder why they still Faunus that bad in places like Atlas. At least ever since the war has ended, they were given more rights, which I assume made some people in Atlas very, very sour."

Blake almost snorted at his comment, but her face went stoic and somewhat somber hearing him. "It still didn't stop the formation of the White Fang…" She said, and Ash looked at her through his glasses, sensing her emotions.

Insecurity, fear, and anxiety along with other emotions. Ash noticed those emotions pop up around certain subjects, and he was willing to gamble some things. But seeing as Tukson looks like he could snap the boy in two, he held back on that. This was not the place or the time. Her team would worry sick if she were to run off, especially after assuring them she was fine. No, he had to bide his time and wait. Maybe Roman could offer some more intel on her. If there was something she was hiding, the thief ought to know what.

There was also that call he got from Cinder a while ago regarding her. Something about an associate of hers wanting information. He fed them half-truths, yes, but the danger was still there. He had to know if Blake could be an issue in the future.

He knew leverage on a person could be dangerous - heck! Cinder had stuff on him! If he doesn't feed her intel, then he can kiss his Dust goodbye, and not to mention the possibility of her sending someone to kill him for knowing too much. The only reason he was not telling anything was Roman and Neo.

Those 2 were like family to him, and snitching on Cinder would ultimately lead to them as well. He just couldn't.

"Ash?" Blake said, snapping him out of his thoughts. The girl looked at him with her amber eyes. "Everything alright? You were spacing out."

"Yes…" He replied, closing the book and setting it back. "It's getting somewhat late, so what do you say we return to the others before they send a search party after us?" He asked, then Blake simply shrugged.

"I don't have any objections regarding that." She replied, then she walked to the door, Ash remaining behind and walking towards the exit slowly. Tukson had his eye on him a bit, but then he was out. He had pulled out his scroll, thinking he should message Roman.

He was worried. He was already doing Cinder's dirty work by spying, he didn't want to find more moles inside of Beacon. Especially if they dig too deep and find out about his eyes. Pyrrha and Jaune were trustworthy, but everyone else was still a wild card. Blake was hiding something, he knew it. Her being a Faunus was one of those things, and she only revealed it thinking Ash was the same.

Why hide you're a Faunus? What could you gain from that? Mixing together with the other people on the street hiding who you are - what you are - why would someone do that? Was she ashamed of her Faunus heritage? No, that was not it.

As the 2 were walking on the street, Ash keeping a steady pace beside her whilst keeping his gaze at the road, walking on auto-mode, and Blake seemingly not doing anything suspicious, there was that air of mistrust between them. Blake didn't trust Ash fully as he thought, and now neither did he.

He was one step away from calling Roman when he was brought down to earth by a certain someone's shout. "ASH AUBURN!" setting his gaze forth, then he saw the owner of that shout. Weiss was walking towards him, her face red with anger and embarrassment. Oh yeah, he knew this would happen. "You despicable, disgusting, repulsive, unredeemable creep!"

Her words were quick, sharp, and harbored anger behind each one. Behind her was Yang and Ruby, the latter trying to ask her sister - who was dying from laughter - why Weiss was lashing out at Ash. "Weiss, I didn't mean to-"

"Keep your excuses for yourself!" She cut him off, then she saw his scroll. 'Give me that!" She tried to grab his scroll, but he moved his arm up, above her height. "Hey!"

"Why do you need my scroll for?!" Ash questioned, the heiress looking at him angrily.

"You most likely snapped a photo, so I have to make sure they are either deleted or that the scroll is in SHAMBLES!" She said, then tried to reach for his scroll again. But to her dismay, and Yang's amusement, she was still too short to reach for Ash's outstretched arm.

He couldn't let her rummage through her scroll. Chances are she'll see Roman's and Neo's numbers and expose him. But this was making him look more guilty. Even Blake was starting to give him weird looks. Oh Gods, help him.

"Weiss! Stop nagging Ash!" Ruby said, going over to the heiress who was just one step away from turning Ash into an ice statue. She stopped for a second, and she scoffed aloud, then set her gaze on Ruby.

"I am not nagging him! I have to make sure this pervert doesn't post pictures online of my body!" Weiss replied, to which Ruby went silent for a bit. Yang only laughed, but then Ash felt the weight of his scroll shift then saw Blake behind him with his scroll in her hand. Damn, she was sneaky.

"Give that back!" Ash shouted, but Blake was already looking through it. Luckily for him, she had skipped the contacts and went straight for the gallery where she only found something worse...A picture of Neo stashing her ice cream away in the warehouse. Ash had snatched it to use it as blackmail for when she popped out again, to make sure she doesn't tell Roman anything too bad.

"Ash, who is that woman? And where did you take this picture?" The Faunus asked with a passive-aggressive tone. She was suspicious.

"She is a friend," Ash replied, hastily taking back his scroll from her. "I took this picture when we went out once, we hang out at a place we found by the docks. She has a mini-fridge where she stores her ice cream so her father doesn't find it." He lied, hoping to get Blake off his case.

"Well, other than that one, I didn't see any picture with Weiss." Blake continued, walking past him and toward her team. Weiss simply scoffed and went back to them as well, and Ash breath a huge sigh of relief.

That was so close it was not even funny. Blake literally only needed to swipe once on the wrong thing and she could've found Roman Torchwick's phone number, something Ash was willing to bet the police would pay big money to have.

But that aside, his senses peaked. He had sensed a new emotion coming from the group of 4 girls; from Blake. She was being suspicious of him? Damn it, that was not good for Ash. Blake had only a slim trust in him, not a lot, so this is bad. He cannot wait any more, he has to call Roman. He brought his scroll as he walked just behind Team RWBY and texted the thief.

"Roman, I need intel on someone here. They are giving me weird vibes." He slowly snatched a picture of the Blake from behind, catching half her face in it. That ought to be enough. "See the girl in black? I need to know as much as possible about her, ok? I don't want to risk Cinder having more moles around here to smother us." He then put his scroll away, continuing his little stroll with the girls.

Yang was teasing Weiss on what happened most of the time whilst Ruby tried to get her sister to drop it. Blake didn't care much and simply threw a few comments here and there. They even talked to Ash, but the only boy in this group didn't make conversation. He was keeping his eyes on Blake as much as possible.

Out of everyone, she was the wildest of the cards.

Ash was going to get to the bottom of this, however, and kill the issue before it starts taking victims itself.

Later, Ash found himself in his room again polishing Somnium Cavas and taking care of Asimenio Oneiro. Taking care of one's equipment is important. But that aside, he was waiting for a reply from Roman. He had to know if Blake was up to something.

And as if by magic, his scroll buzzed. Ash put down his weapons and took it, opening up the message. It was Roman.

"I got your message, Ash, and I understand why you'd be worried. Honestly, so am I. But I also got news besides the info you requested. Bad ones."

Earlier that day. Roman was inside the warehouse, again, smoking his cigar. The news of someone joining them was disturbing him, and it was showing - to those who know how to read him. To others, he just seemed pissed. "Who in the world could she have called?" He muttered, then he noticed the Faunus getting rather agitated and nervous, the sound of a Bullhead echoing outside.

"Hey, hey, what's with the uproar? Is the King of the World about to step in or something?" Roman asked, to which he got a reply. He looked at the entrance and saw multiple White Fang members come in, escorting someone. His eyes widened as he saw him.

wearing an asymmetrical black, long-sleeved, double-breasted stylized high-collared blazer with slit sleeves along with red thorn sigils adorned with a white crest that lined up on his left shoulder. A suit jacket had crimson lining atop his red shirt, with red thorn sigils atop a black flap attached to the bottom of the left hem and a wilting rose emblem on the back over an emblazoned white sigil resembling the curved stems and flower of the deadly nightshade plant. His blazer was half-buttoned, exposing a red shirt with a black line running parallel to his collar under it.

His mask, in comparison with that of other animals, was whitish-tan with red, horn-like symbols decorating the front and two slits on each side presumably to allow for vision. A redesigned version of the Grimm masks typically worn by most members of the White Fang.

He wore long black dress pants, black shoes with red soles, and black gloves with red sigils resembling the symbol for Omega. Lastly, he wore a black belt with white domino marks on it.

Roman was no fool who grew up under a rock. As the man walked towards him, his sword strapped to his hip in its scabbard, he eyed Roman closely, then sneered. "So this is the human contact she mentioned." His obvious dislike of humans did not offend Roman, but then again, he expected that.

"I take it you are the leader of the Faunus is Vale, I presume," Roman asked, careful as to not use his usual offensive term - animals - before this guy. If the rumors hold true, then he is a jumpy one when it comes to that kind of stuff. "Adam Taurus."

"Hmpf. I see my reputation proceeds me." Adam said. "Tell then, Human-"

"My name is Roman, kiddo, and you are best to remember it if we are to work together on this," Roman said cutting Adam off. Many Fang members around tensed hearing him being so rude to their leader, but Adam retained his cool.

"Roman...Tell me, what is it that she needed from you on this?" Adam asked, undoubtedly referring to Cinder by 'she'. Roman poofed his cigar to the side.

"I guess you could say it is for my brilliant mind," Roman said, slightly boasting. "She needed someone with connections and knowledge of the city and more."

"I see. But I assume you were lacking the manpower for any of her...ambitions." Adam said, then he looked around the warehouse - the amount of Dust being impressive to him. "With so much Dust the Fang could wage wars against the human oppressors."

Roman snorted. "As you say, Kiddo." He replied, to which Adam turned to him.

"I would prefer if you called me Adam, Torchwick." Roman snapped his fingers at him.

"So you did know who I was when you walked in! You were just being rude…" Roman said. True enough, he never gave his family name. "Now how about you tell me why has Cinder put you on my plate?"

"I am just insurance," Adam replied.

"Insurence?" Roman echoed, his gaze narrowing on the bull Faunus. "For what, exactly?"

"She had told me that it'd be better if you had an extra hand on deck to aid you with your jobs here in the city," Adam replied. "Personally, I am also here out of my own reasons."

"Hmm." Roman looked around himself, taking note of the White Fang members which surrounded them and filled the warehouse. He just hit the most UNLUCKY jackpot of them all. "Care to elaborate on those reasons of yours?"

"They are none of your concern, Torchwick," Adam replied with a passive-aggressive tone, then he turned around to leave. "I will be around the warehouse to make sure everything is going as planned. I hope my people are being treated well."

Roman inhaled deeply from his cigar out of stress. "As well as any of us, Adam...As well as any of us." After that, the bull left, and Roman started to walk out of the warehouse himself. Once outside, he threw his cigar down and shot it using Melodic Cudgel, leaving a deep burn mark on the ground. "Fuck!" He shouted.

This just got worse. Sending someone like him here means Cinder does not trust Roman - if she ever did, honestly - and has send someone to keep an eye on him. HE sure hoped no one will tell that freak about Ash.

Hybrids are looked down upon with hate, he doubted Taurus was any different if not downright fanatical. If he hears about a hybrid living nearby he might just get interested and want to meet Ash, albeit to measure him and possibly kill him in order to - and Roman was quoting - 'maintain the purity of the race'.

He had to look after number 2, but he mustn't forget to look after number 1; himself. He was the one in the thick of it, after all. One wrong move and he will be stealing from the pockets of the damned.

He was on thin ice.

Ash gulped as Roman finished texting him the story, and he knew things were bad. But Roman did say he had one more bad news that relates to Blake.

"I just found this out from one of the Fang people as well. Your girl there was once with the Fang, Adam's right hand from what they are saying, and even his girlfriend. But she ditched them during an attack on a train which transported Dust here in Vale."

Blake was with the White Fang? Now everything was falling together. She was hiding from the Fang, scared of what they might be doing. That guy Tukson must have been one as well seeing as he and Blake know each other. She did well by hiding, especially from Weiss.

That girl doesn't view Faunus with a good eye, and the Fang even less so. If she found out about Blake, then there is no telling what she might do. Ash was fearing the worse in this situation. This could completely ruin Red's Team entirely.

Ash was going to confront Blake about this, even if he had to tell her about Roman. But he had to keep it secret. For Blake's sake since he knows her trust in him has grown weak when she saw that picture of Neo. That girl was still jumpy about things, which was to be understandable.

"I also did further digging and found out more. You said her last name was Belladonna, right? Well, guess what, genius? The name of the person who founded the Fang was Ghira Belladonna, her own father. Apparently, he stepped down and Khan took over, turning the Fang into the Organisation we know today, handing out bullets to all racist bastards out there. I am lucky I work for Cinder and that she needs me, or else this Taurus would've killed me long ago."

Now the rabbit hole went deeper. He had to talk to Blake about this tomorrow when he gets the chance, but where? He couldn't just kidnap her without her team getting suspicious, and chances are she might have a bad reaction to Ash knowing the truth.

He had to take her somewhere with more people, someone she would not risk making a scene, and where he could talk to her in peace without being disturbed. Seeing as Blake was like a ninja he only had one option.

He was going to ask the kitty out...Gods help him he doesn't lose his eyes.

Sorry if this took too long, guys. Been helping Nerdy out and being on writing brake. Also had family stuff go down which ruined my mood to write. But I proudly present you the 9th chapter of Ashes of Grimm.

Also, you thought the Ghost was going to pop up, didn't you?

?: Sorry to disappoint, but I am still here. To my dismay.

I have plans for Adam which entail him appearing this early. The fight at the docks is going to be interesting to watch and write.

?: When are you going to yeet me into existence, then?

Patience. Anyway, don't forget to leave reviews guys. Peace.
