A/N I am insecure about this chapter but I feel guilty about not posting so enjoy and no hater comments, please. Also, I hope 104th fans are excepting my interpretation of Wolffe. *Wink* You know who you are:) Next chapter, Plank is gonna have a reunion!

"Ready?" Plank didn't want to admit it, but he was nervous. He asked Crusher to ask Eavs about the rumours surrounding the Wolfpack. They were freaky good. Like, scary good. And Wolffe, the Commander of the whole 104th legion, was notoriously scary.

You shouldn't get on the wrong side of him. The 212th Legion would be there too, so Plank was hoping to see Zen and Eavs. Cody had mixed rumours around him, but rumours were just rumours so he couldn't completely be sure.

His team-mates looked just as nervous but they hid behind there helmets. His brothers could get away with it but as a Commander, Plank had to be completely confident in their skills. He could do that...can't he? Yes, he had too. If he wasn't going to believe in his team, who would?

"Course Plank, we can do this!" Sly said, sounding ever-confident as usual. The extra time Plank had spent with him though, meant that he could detect the slight apprehension in his voice.

"I mean, we were trained for this but...are we as good as we think?" Camo pitched in, standing close to Crusher.

Suddenly a voice came with a smile from behind him, "Have some faith in yourselves. If not yourselves, at least your training."

"We're not dissing your training Mliss, "Snipe said, hopping from one foot to another.

Mliss smiled, "I know, I'm just saying. You have had training better than Commando training. Even if you're nervous, your skills will outshine that."

Plank tried to look as confident as possible. It worked and his brothers stood up straighter.

"I have faith in you all. We can do this!"

Mliss grinned, "That's the spirit! I'll drop you off at the rendezvous and Commander Wolffe will lead you to your quarters on their ship"

Planks nerves came back but confidence was steading beating it down. Light, the droid, set the ship down in the hanger bay and Mliss walked out with XYZ following.

They all had their helmets on so Plank could hide his nerves. What annoyed him the most was how INFURIATINGLY CALM Crusher was. Crusher walked in like he OWNED the place.

"Master Plo, Master Kenobi, "Mliss greeted.

Plank scanned the famous Commander Wolffe and Cody. Their armour was meticulously clean but was covered in many scratches. Suddenly he felt very...Exposed, in his barely coloured and barely scratched armour.

Plo nodded his head in acknowledgement,"Master Mliss, Commander Plank-"

In his helmet, Plank's eyes widened. He was KNOWN! WHAT! General Koon actually KNOWS HIS NAME!

Plo continued,"-I hope your first joint mission is pleasant. I have a feeling that you will be of great assistance."

Plank stiffened to attention, "We'll do all we can Sir."

"Very good. Wolffe will show you to your quarters. We leave for Sulust immediately."

"Yes Sir."

Plo nodded and turned to Mliss, clearly dismissing them. Wolffe turned around and walked to his ship, obviously expecting them to follow. They obliged. Plank nodded to Sly who gave a reassuring nod back. They were ready. They followed him through the twisting turns of the TRIUMPHANT. Soon they got to, what Plank recognised, were the bunkers.

"Unfortunately," Wolffe started, without sounding in the least apologetic,"We do not have the necessary space to give you your own room Plank."

"I wasn't expecting anything more." Plank said truthfully.

Wolffe then barked out a laugh, which, Plank remarked, sounded extremely like a Wolf.

"So it's true then. You weren't trained to be an officer."

Plank had to smile at that. Was it THAT obvious?

"Correct, I was trained as a regular trooper."

Suddenly Wolffe was serious, glaring at him.

"Well, I hope your extra training did something extraordinary because this mission depends on you."

"It has." Plank said simply, reassuring him. And it did. If Mishap could see him now...

Wolffe nodded then spun on his heel and left. Plank stood for a second analyzing him as he left, then he walked into the room. It was decent sized, with six bunks lining the walls. His brothers were sitting down, laying their helmets on their beds.

"For some bizarre reason, I don't think Wolffe trusts us," Sly said dryly.

Camo joined in, "I wonder why though..."

Plank snorted, "It is no way related to the fact that we're still untested shinies."

Snipe rolled his eyes at them, "Oh lighten up. Think of all the clankers we get to destroy!"

Crusher grinned madly at the prospect. They sat chatting about the craziness of it all for a while until Sly sat up suddenly.

"Do you want to go to the mess? I am starving!"

Plank laughed, "We literally just ate 3hrs ago!"

"Well, that was a long 3 hrs!" Sly said defensively.

"Fine, "Plank said realizing that he felt hungry as well, "We can go to the mess."

They jumped up eagerly, placing their helmets on their heads. Mliss made sure they memorised the layout of every major warship so the way was clear. Soon enough, they made it to the mess. It was clear that almost everyone turned to look their way.

It made Plank squirm in his boots but he didn't let that show. They calmly went up to the counter and got the food they wanted, then sat down at an empty table. They removed their helmets and began eating and chatting.

"You know," Sly said, his mouth partially full," On Kamino, I was the centre of attention in a bad way. So this is new"

Plank nodded, thinking to the many times he had been singled out, "A nice new."

Camo nodded, then got cheeky, "Almost as good as the new story of Mynocs we heard from Crusher."

Plank almost choked on his food then turned to Crusher, "I WILL ban Eavs from telling you ANY stories related to me."

Sly snorted between mouthfuls,"No you won't. Because I bet he has some great things to blackmail you with."

Plank grunted. That was too true. Two troopers came up behind them.

"Would you mind if we sat?" The first trooper said.

"Not at all." Plank said, gesturing to a seat.

They sat down with their food.

"My names Boil," The same trooper said.

"And I'm called Waxer." The second one said with a wide grin."What are your names?"

"I'm Plank, this is Sly, Snipe, Camo and Crusher."

As they were called, each of them gave a nod. Might as well look professional.

"I heard that you guys are helping us with Sullust." Boil said. He was clearly assessing them, seeing if they were as good as the rumours say.

Snipe piped in, "Yes, we are."

"Well," Waxer said with a cocky smile, "Do you want to get in some training before we arrive?"

Plank smothered a smile. That's why they came over here.

"Sure."

They quickly finished their meals in companionable silence. Then they headed to the training room, conscious of the awed glances of shinies. In truth they were shinies as well, Plank thought with a smile. They made it to the empty training room and pulled out some mats, time for hand-to-hand combat.

"So," Boil said, once they were warmed up, "Who is the best at Hand-to-hand?"

Their team all turned to look at Sly.

Boil grinned and waved him onto the mat. Sly followed.

...

Sly followed. He had already decided not to completely wipe him out in the first 10 seconds. Just to see what his tactics were. They eased into fighting stance and Boil made the first attack. Sly dodged with laughable easiness. Ducking and weaving spectacularly, the fight was clearly lost already.

Sly waited a few more seconds, just to be nice, then pinned Boil to the floor. When it was clear Boil wasn't going to get up, he got off of him.

Boil took off his helmet and grinned, "Impressive."

Sly took off his helmet as well," Thanks."

Then the Wolffe pack walked in the training room. Sly kept his face straight, though, on the inside, he was in awe. It was THE Wolfpack. They were coming their way. Sly made his way off the mat to where the rest of his team was seated. The Wolfpack, with Wolffe leading them followed, and then he addressed Plank.

"I need to keep my men safe, you can understand that. "Wolffe said, removing his helmet, "You and me in hand-to-hand combat. Let's see how good you are."

Plank smiled, "I'd love too."

Sly was trained in hand-to-hand combat, so winning was nothing less than expected but Plank wasn't trained for that. As their Commander though, to see is his fighting was a good as his aim, would be very interesting...

...

Plank walked up to the mat, surprisingly, he wasn't nervous. He knew his training was great, and beating Wolffe wouldn't be too hard. It would be difficult but he could do it.

They simultaneously went into a ready stance.

"Ready?" Wolffe said, after replacing his helmet.

"Yes."

No sooner than he said it, Wolffe attacked. Viciously at that. Plank stepped backwards then ducked under a punch, weaving under it to get out of the corner.

As they fought, Plank noticed, to his amusement, that he fought JUST LIKE A WOLF. His fighting was speedy and made to overwhelm. It was interesting to watch, though he was participating in the fight, he was mostly defending.

Then, after a few seconds of defence, he countered. Parring and fighting with equal ferocity. It was a few seconds before Wolffe was down on the floor.

He scowled then jumped back up, ready no fight again. Plank smiled gently, that was a good quality in a commander. Never quitting. But does he know how to quit when a battle was lost?

In a few more seconds, Wolffe was down again. He jumped back up one more time. Perhaps he thought it was beginners luck. It was more than that but he'd let Wolffe try.

Wolffe fought with much more ferocity now that he knew Plank wasn't just some shiny. It took a longer, but in the end, Wolffe was on the floor. Even Plank was impressed with himself, he was pleasantly surprised mostly.

He extended a hand and Wolffe took it.

"I'm impressed. You fight well."

Plank removed his helmet with a small relieved smile. Wolffe caught it and chuckled.

"If you fight like that on Sullust, you'll be fine."

Plank turned to his brothers, who were looking impressed as well. Hm, a nice feeling,

"Well," Sly said, "I wasn't expecting that."

Plank grinned, he could see where this was going.

"Now how about a match?"

"I've seen you fight with Mliss. You are far better than I."

Sly grinned, "Aw, come on, It'll be fun!"

Plank considered it, well, it might be fun.

"Fine Sly. We can spar."

Sly grinned cockily, "Perfect."

They got onto the mats and Camo gives the starting signal.

Instantly, both troopers slid into defence stance. For a few seconds, there was only tense silence then, like lightning Sly attacked. From there, the fighting got quicker and more dangerous. It was obvious that they both had a knack for hand-to-hand as they both seemed to know when the other was going to attack or defend. For five minute they were only a blur of pure, lethal speed. Then as abruptly as it had started, Plank suddenly found himself on the floor.

"One day, "Plank said from his position," I will defeat you."

"Not a chance Commander," Sly said cheerfully.

He stood up and, to his amazement, saw that their match had gathered a crowd. He congratulated Sly again, who congratulated him back. Then he spotted two faces in the crowd he knew well. His batchmates.
