Note: I was thinking and I realized I can't tell you what level the pokemon are in the game without being realistic to me. The Pokemons last move it has learned at the time will be its level. If you don't understand you'll find out ;)

"I challenge you to a battle, if I win Serena can be a performer and you have to support her" Calem said boldly

"Fine, I accept your challenge, but if Serena loses she has to stay here and practice being a trainer, and never talk about being a performer again" Her dad said with a smile

"Don't try to back out either, it'll be all of my pokemon against yours" her Dad said frightenely eager to get the battle started

Calem's POV

I guess there's no backing out now, I have to do this for Serena. People deserve to make their own paths and choices, not have their career be set in stone by somebody who only cares about them self.

Serena' POV

Calem's so nice, he doesn't even have to so this for me! However she knew what the consequences of losing meant. Still she blushed at the thought of Calem helping her like that, and she didn't realize she had a look of awe in her eyes watching Calem be so confident.

BATTLE BEGIN!

Calem V Serena's Dad

"Go Fletchling"

"Come on out Bellsprout"

"Fletch"

"Sprout"

Bellsprout landed on the ground, while Fletchling flew up in the air. Both pokemon were eager to battle and settle the score.

"Offense is the best defense, Fletchling use Quick Attack!"

"Bellsprout doge it"

Fletchling flew towards Bellsprout weaving left and right, and zig zagging at incredible speed!

Bellsprout tried to doge it, however Fletchling as speedy as it was hit it head on with a Quick Attack. Bellsprout fell over but quickly got back up.

"Now Counter using Toxic"

Bellsprout jumped up and released a puff of dark purple chemicals. However Calem knew a way to beat it.

"Fletchling quick flap your wings as fast and as hard as you can"

"Fletch" the robin Pokemon said looking back at Calem

Fletchling quickly flapped her wings faster and faster until the poison spores started heading in Bellsprout's! However since Bellsprout was a poison type it was unaffected.

"Why would you even do that's a waste of a move" Serena's Dad said

"Well now Bellsprout can't see, now Fletchling use Tackle"

What Calem said was true, since Bellsprout was a poison type, it didn't absorb the spores, which means it couldn't see. By the time the Toxic Spores disappeared, it was hit by a head on Tackle.

"Bell"

Bellsprout flew in the air and landed on the ground, this time it reminded on the ground much longer, but still got back up.

"Bellsprout can't take to many hits, now grab Fletchling using Vine whip"

"Fletchling doge it!"

Bellsprout let out two vines which went after Fletchling, Fletchling flew in the air and weaved and ducked to avoid the first vine but the second one latched onto Fletchling's talon.

"Fletch, the Pokemon said now unable to move.

"Now squeeze Fletchling with the vines"

Bellsprout tightened the grip of its vines, slowly squeezing Fletchling more and more.

"Fletchling try to wiggle out" Calem said with a worried look on its face

Fletchling tried to wiggle out, but Bellsprout just tightened the vines even more, further squeezing Fletchling. It looked lied Fletchling was beat, until it started pecking the vines.

"Wow Fletchling, you just learned Peck!" Calem said with a look of pure joy

"Now use Peck to break out of the vines"

Fletchling began pecking the vines, which caused the vines to rip, allowing Fletchling to break free

"Wha...Uh Bellsprout use Vine Whip to propel yours in the air then use tackle"

"Fletchling make sure to fly higher than Bellsprout and grab it with your talons"

Bellsprout with the momentum of its vines jumped up high in the air, however Fletchling hovered over Bellsprout and grabbed it with her talons.

"Bell" The Pokemon said having gotten caught in Fletchling's talons

However Fletchling was a small pokemon and quickly started heading towards the ground.

"Uhh, quick Fletchling, drop Bellsprout and use Peck on it right before it hits the ground"

"Bellsprout try to doge it"

Fletchling let got of Belpsprout, as Bellsprout approached the ground at a alarming rate. Bellsprout however couldn't doge since it was in the air and took a Peck from Fletchling. However since Fletchling used Peck on Bellsprout while it was still in the air the force of the move pushed Bellsprout to the ground even faster.

"Sprout" the Pokemon said before it hit the ground

There was a huge commotion and a cloud of dust and dirt went up, when it dissipated Bellsprout was on the ground with swirls in its eyes.

"Alright come out Rhydon"

"Stay alert Fletchling"

"Fletch!" the Pokemon nodded

"Now use Anicent Power"

"Fletchling doge with Quick Attack!"

Fletchling gained speed, and zig sagged, and flew over and under the rocks. Fletchling then hit Ryhdon head on with a Quick attack. However Rhydon took the hit and pushed Fletchling back!

"Rhy!!" Rhydon said puffing it's chest out

"Fletch" Fletchling said in shock

"Glad to know your strong, now jump forward and use Crush Claw"

"Fletchling doge it"

Rhydon jumped forward and unleashed a Crusg Claw, Fletchling tried to doge it but being much shorter, and since Rhydon jumped forward, Fletchling had no choice but to jump back.

"Now use Iron Tail"

"Fletchling No!"

Rhydon's tail turned into solid steel, Fletchling couldn't doge as it had just jumped back from the Crush Claw. Rhydon slammed its tail towards Fletchling. Fletchling was smacked across the face, and dragged against the ground, finally coming to a stop in front of Calem. When Calem looked at Fletchling he saw swirls in her eyes.

"Fletch..." Fletchling said totally exhausted

"Fletchling you did a great job, thanks for everything, now return"

"I believed in you Calem" Serena said

"Thanks Serena, now Froakie come on out" Calem said

Wow I didn't know Serena would take performing so seriously, and she has such good friends. Maybe I was wrong about the whole performer thing Serena's Dad thought

"Froakie use Bubble"

Froakie used a burst of bubbles, Rhydon managed to doge most of the bubbles, however a few managed to hit Rhydon. However Rhydon barely seems fazed, and roared.

"Your better than that, now Rhydon use Anicent Power"

Rhydon concentrated and a lot of rocks formed, Rhydon then closed its eyes and the rocks began heading towards it.

"Froakie jump on top of the rocks"

To Rhydon's suprise Froakie jumped on the rocks slowly getting higher and higher. Froakie then jumped and aimed above Rhydon's head.

"Now use Bubble"

Froakie again used Bubble and this time Rhydon got hit by all the bubbles. Rhydon slid and almost fell, but got back up.

"We won't let this match get out of our favor, Rhydon jump up and use Iron Tail, then use Crush Claw"

Rhydon then jumped and used Iron Tail, which Froakie dodged by inches. Then Rhydon used Crush Claw, Froakie tried to jump up, but the tip of the claw hit Froakie sending him up in the air.

"Don't let Froakie land on the ground catch it"

Rhydon then caught Froakie. Froakie struggled but couldn't get out of Rhydon's grip.

"Froaa" Froakie said getting weak

"Now finish it off with Headbutt

Rhydon then slammed its head at Froakie, who managed to doge it by wiggling to the left. Oddly enough Froakie licked Rhydon! Rhydon then immediately dropped Froakie, and a staticky sound filled the battle field.

"Wow Froakie you learned Lick, and you parlayed Rhydon" Calem said in glee

"Wow, your incredible Froakie" Serena said

"Kie" the frog pokemon said with a look of pride on its face

" Now use your Frubbles on Rhydon's leg" Calem said

"Rhydon doge it"

Rhydon tried to doge it but froze from the paralysis. Froakie took it's chance and unleashed a round of Frubbles completing covering Rhydon's legs.

"Rhy, don" Rhydon said trying to break free

"Now hit with a combination of Bubble and Pound"

Froakie unleashed a burst of Bubbles, which hit Rhydon. Rhydon the tried wildly swinging its claw in rage. Froakie then simply went begin Rhydon and hit it with pounds over and over.

"Rhyyyy" the Pokemon said as it crashed to the ground with swirls in its eyes

"Froaaaaaa!!!" Froakie said yelling as it looked up in the sky. Froakie then looked at Calem, and Calem felt a weird feeling. Froakie then fell to the ground, tired but proud it won the battle.

BATTLE END

"Froakie is the winner, therefore Calem wins" Serena said

"Calem you won fair and square your such a promising trainer" Serena's Dad said with a smile

"Thanks" Calem said

"Now don't you have something to say to Serena" Serena's Mom said

"I'm sorry Serena, it's just I care about you and I want you to do better than me in life. That's why I always push you to do your best... It's just I see this spark in you" Serena's Dad said

"Thanks Dad... I want to be like you, but I also want to be a Performer too" Serena said with a smile.

"You have my full support Serena" her Dad said

"I'm glad you made up" Calem said

"Thank you Calem, because of you I realized Serena's dream about being a performer, can you wait a second I have a gift for you" Serena's Dad said going back into their house

"Here's some Potions for Fletchling, Froakie, and Fennekin.

The three Pokemon were instantly healed and started playing and talking. Just then Serena's Dad came back in with a pair of Roller Blades.

"You remind me of myself when I was kid, so I wanted to give you these" Serena's Dad said happily

"Thanks" Calem said taking the Roller Blades and putting them in it's bag.

Serena walked forward. She wanted to say something to Calem. Ever since she started her journey Calrm had been so nice to her, and given her so much support! At first she wanted her crush on Calem to go away, but now she understood why she fell for him at first sight.

"Thank you for everything Calem, because of you I can be a performer, and sorry for not telling you about me wanting to be a performer. I told Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno but not you" Serena said with a reddened face

"Your welcome, it's just what friends do, it's no bid deal that you didn't tell me, I just moved here anyway. By the way I- Calem started to say

Calrm was interrupted as Serena walked forward and hugged him for what seemed like a long time. The two wrapped together tightly, and embraced, Serena put her arms around Calem's neck and Calem wrapped her hands on her back. The two opened their eyes at the same time and looked right at each for what seemed like a moment, but then sadly Calem stepped away, and Serena's face turned bright red.

"Awww, you two are practically boyfriend and girlfriend!" Serena's Mom said

"Mommmm, stop!" Serena said her face turning even more red

"Huh, what did your Mom say" Calem being oblivious to love like usually

"Maybe you two should get a room while your at it" Serena's Dad said with a chuckle.

"To ge to Santlune Forest, we have to make our way to Route 1, so let's head to route 1" Serena said checking her Town Map "I have an extra Town Map so here's one for you" Serena said

"Thanks Serena" Calem said taking the Town Map

"Fenn" Fennekin said excited to go on a journey

"Froa" Froakie said in agreement

Calem and Serenea again exited Vaniville Town again, and made their way past the cafe they first got their starters at. Serena and Calem then stocked up on Pokeballd and Potions at a shop next to the cafe, and headed towards Route 1!
