Note: Now that we gotten to our first route of the game I cam across a challenging task. Should Calem try to complete the pokedex, or only catch the Pokemon he'll put on his team. If I let Calem catch every Pokemon he found, I would have to make sure the battles stay interesting and excited. I'm going to do the first option, if you don't like that please review and I'll change it back. With that out of the way have a good day! :)

Tiernos and Trevor's POV

The sun was beginning to set as Tierno and Trevor made their way through Route 1. Trevor was looking for Pokemon while Tierno was practicing his dance moves.

"Wow look at all these Pokemon" Trevor said looking at his Pokedex.

"Wow look at all the Pokemon you caught" Tierno said looking at Trevor's Pokedex

"Thanks, looks like Fletchling, Bunnelby, and Scatterbug live here" Trevor said showing off his pokedex

"Good thing we already got out Letter of Approval signed, come on let's head inside Santlune Forest" Trevor said dragging Tierno

"I just want to do my dance routineeeeeee" Tierno said disappearing into the forest

Shauna's POV

Shauna raced back to her house. I'm going to be late. Shauna broke into a sprint and approached her street right as her alarm rang. Shauna sighed and then opened the door, her parents were waiting in the living room with frowns on her faces.

"Your late, you know just because I signed your Letter of Approval, doesn't mean you don't have a curfew" Her Mom said

"I'm very disappointed in you Shuana" her Dad said

"It's not my fault, I was just getting a pokedex and my first Pokemon!" Shauna said

"Well can we see" her parents said suprised

"Okay meet Chespin, by the way she's girl!" Shauna said holding Chespin up

"Aww she looks so cute" her Mom said

"That's a fine looking Pokemon!' her Dad said

"By the way I know you guys care about but your way to overprotective, I'm fine I have a Pokemon to protect me now. Ok I'm heading to Santlune Forest" Shauna said

"We're sorry it's just we want you to stay safe" her Dad said

"Were sorry, enjoy your journey with no restrictions" Her Mom said

Shauna and her parents then hugged, and said their goodbyes. Shauna then put her Chespin back in her Pokeball and grabbed her bag. Shuana then walked out the door with a smile on her face.

"I hope her journey goes well" her Dad said

"Same for me" her Mom said bursting in tears

Serena and Calem's POV

"I'm going to try to find a Pokemon to join my team" Calem said looking in the grass

"Good luck on that, me and Fennekin will be practicing for our first peformance" Serena said

"Fen, fenni, kin" Fennekin said excited to start performing with Serena

Calem then began searching for Pokemon, while Serena started on her performance, after a few moments Calem found a Pokemon in the grass.

"Serena I think I just found a Scatterbug" Calem said

"So you want you want to put Scatterbug on your team?" Serena said slightly annoyed that she had to stop her performance practice so soon

"Yeah I think so" Calem said "Now come on out Fletchling"

BATTLE BEGIN !

Fletchling Veruse Scatterbug

"Ok Scatterbug let's have a battle" Calem said getting his pokedex out and pointing it at the Scatterbug

"Zzt, Scatterbug the Caterpillar Pokemon! The powder that covered its body regulates its temperature, so it can live in any climate or region"

The Scatterbug realizing it was in a battle looked suprised, and tried to run away.

"Don't let it get away, fly over it and use Peck!"

The Scatterbug tried to doge, however Fletchling sniped it with a sharp jab with her beak. The Scatterbug then rolled across across the ground but quickly got back up. The Scatterbug then opened its mouth and a silky string like substance flew towards Fletchling

"Fletchling doge the String Shot"

Fletchling doged the string shot by flying into the air, then the Scatterbug shot another String shot at Fletchling which then covered Fletchling.

"Fletmvv" the robin said now being completely covered in the string

The Scatterbug then released a cloud of yellow spores.

"Fletchling use you talons and your beak to break out of the string, then fly away"

Fletchling managed to break out of the string, before the spores landed on it. Seeing this the Scatterbug got a frown on its face and then ran forward and Tackled Fletchling. Fletchling flew back from the hit, but shook her head and flapped her wings.

"Glad to know your fine, now use Quick Attack!" Calem said

Fletchling ran at incredible speed and hit the wild Scatterbug before it had time to react, the Scatterbug flew in the air.

"Go Pokeball! Calem said throwing the Pokeball at it

The Scatterbug went into the Pokeball as it flew into the air. The Pokeball hit the ground then shook once. The Pokeball then shook a second time.

"Come on, please go in" Calem said tense

"Fletch!" Fletchling said excited for Calem

"Froa?" Froakie said coming out of its Pokeball curious to see what was going on

The Pokeball then shook a third time and flashed green light flashed showing that it was caught!

"Yes! I caught my first Pokemon, Scatterbug!" Calem said holding the Pokeball in the air

"Fletch" Fletchling said jumping in the air

"Froa" Froakie said happily

BATTLE END

"Come on out Scatterbug!" Calem said tossing the Pokeball in the air

"Scat?" the bug Pokemon said looking around

"Hi Scatterbug welcome to the team, I think you're string sho, stun spore strategy was awesome" Calem said with a smile

"Scatt" Scatterbugsaid while blushing

"Fletch!" Fletchling said greeting it

"Ki, fro" Froakie said waving

Scatterbug then smiled, it then ran to Calem and hugged him showing it was ready to be part of the team

Serena and Fennekin saw this and came over to Calem.

"I was just taking a quick break and saw you catch Scatterbug, congrats. Also once you catch a Pokemon if you get your Pokedex out it will show you more detailed information like the Pokemon's height, weight, and even its gender" Serena said

"Okay I want to try it out" Calem said

Calem then got his Pokedex out and pointed it at Scatterbug. It's weight and height were normal. It weighed around 5 pounds and was a foot tall, Calem then checked Scatterbug's gender, after a few seconds the Pokedex said "female"

"Does that mean my Scatterbug is a girl" Calem said wanting to be sure

"Yep, if it was a male it would have just said male" Serena explained

Scatterbug blushed becoming self conscious about her gender being talked about.

"Sorry, I was just curious Scatterbug, here have a Poke Puff" Calem said taking one out of his bag

"Scatt" Scatterbug said eating the Poke Puff while nuzzling up against Calem

Calem then searched in the grass some more, and caught a Bunnelby, Caterpie, Zigzagoon, and a Pidgey using Scatterbug, which he then chose to send them all to a virtual PC.

"By the way Calem, would you like to see our peformance rehearsal" Serena said walking up to Calem

"Of course, Serena" Calem said

Scatterbug, Fletchling, and Froakie all sat next to Calem eager to see Serena's performance.

"Ok Fennekin let's go" Serena said

"Fenn," Fennekin said ready to start

"Fennekin use a burst of Ember, then use Scratch on it"

Fennekin ran forward and sent a ball of flame into the air, Fennekin then jumped in the air while spinning around and used Scratch on the flame right when it came down. A bright light formed, followed by a series of mini fireworks. Fennekin landed perfectly on the ground without tripping or falling.

"Now jump up in the air and spin around and use Ember!"

Fennekin then jumped and spun around making the Ember spin around.

"Now... Use Howl" Fennekin said

"Woah so Fennekin learned Howl" Calem said

"Froaa" Froakie said amazed

Fennekin then let out a loud howl, which caused the Ember to dance on the ground, and move back and forth getting higher and lower. Then Fennekin began dancing with the fire, imitating the movemes of the fire, the two of them moving as one.

"Fletch" Fletchling said to suprised for words

"Now for the finale, look into the sky and use Ember, while twirling around" Serena said

"Fennekin then looked into the sky and used Ember while spinning around, and the result left Calem's mouth wide open. A spiral staircase like Ember was in the air. Fennekin then ran forward and jumped on Serena's hand and climbed up the staircase spinning and dancing while making her movements look majestic. As it was nearing the top, the staircase then disappeared and Fennekin fell towards the ground.

"Oh no, Fennekin quick spin around and fall to the ground landing on your feet

"Fenn" the fox nodded as it was falling towards the ground

Fennekin then began spinning around and twirling still continuing the rehearsal as it fell. It then landed perfectly on her feet and looked back at Serena.

"How'd you like our peformance?" Serena said as Fennekin stood by her side.

"Besides the fire staircase part you did great Serena" Thanks Serena said

"Wow that rehearsal was awesome, sorry I'm late I just had to get my letter signed by my parents, and couple of trainers challenged me, but I beat them all"

Serena and Calem quickly turned around to see Shauna walking towards them.

"Hi Shauna," Serena and Calem said

"Hi guys, Serena you looked so great it reminded of the time I did my first peformance" Shauna said

"Thanks Shauna" Serena said

"Wait your a performer too, did you win your first time?" Calem asked

"Of course silly, I even got a princess key to prove it" Shauna said opening her bag

"What's that" Calem asked

"Well it's sort of like when you do a gym battle and you get a gym badge as proof as victory, if you're a performer and you get 1st place you get a princess key then" Serena explained

Shauna then took out a gold key that had 1st place carved into it, and showed it to Calem and Serenea.

"Wow it looks so nice" Serena said

"Yeah it does" Calem said

"Anyways let's head in to Santlune Forest" Shauna said putting her key back in her bag.

The three made their way to Santlune Forest, only to see Tierno and Trevor up ahead, the three of them ran up to Tierno and Trevor. Tierno and Trevor turned around and greeted them.

"Hey guys, I was just trying to catch some Pokemon" Trevor said

"I was just doing my dance routine with my new PokemonI caught" Tierno said

"Nice, I'm going to keep practicing my peformance rehearsal" Serena said

"I'll help you" Shauna said as Serena and Shauna walked deeper into the forest

"Guys let's meet back here in a our" Calem said

"Okay!" Shauna and Serena said disappearing into the forest

"Well let's have a Pokemon catching contest Trevor" Calem said

"Fine your on, but you can only use 1 pokemon then" Trevor said

"I'm going to be doing my dance routine" Tierno said

While Serena and Shauna were perfecting Serena's peformance, Calem and Trevor were in a catching spree. Calem has choose Scatterbug to help him while Trevor choose Charmander.The two trainers each caught a Caterpie, Weddle, Pansage, Pansear, Pampour, Metapod and Kakuna, Bunnelby for Calem, and Scatterbug and Fletchling for Trevor. Just then 1 Pikachu appeared and approached them.

"Oooh a Pikachu" Calem said

"Wow so you know how rare that is, based on my calculations it only has a 6% encounter rate" Trevor said jumping in joy

"Scatterbug uses String Shot" Calem said

"Wait for Scatterbug to use String Shot then use Ember Charmander" Trevor said

Scatterbug then covered the Pikachu in string causing it to not be able to move, however Charmander took advantage of this and sended out a Ember hitting Pikachu while melting the string. The Pikachu however let out a Thundershock hitting Scatterbug and Charmander.

"Don't let that stop you now use Tackle Scatterbug" Calem said

"Don't let it do that Charmander use Smokescreen to cover it" Trevor said

Scatterbug tried to Tackle Pikachu, however being as slow as she was she got covered in the Smokescreen

"Now use multiple Scratch attacks on Pikachu" Trevor said triumphantly

Charmander then moved around confusing Pikachu with it's movements, the Pikachu tried to use a Quick Attack, but Charmander leaped out of the way and hit it with multiple Scratch attacks. The Pikachu then went flying in the air and landed hard on the ground.

"Pick" the Pikachu said with swirls in its eyes

"Looks like we got this in the bag, go Pokeball" Trevor said

"Nooo!" Calem said

"Scatttttttttttttttttt!"Just then a blue light came from the cloud of smoke.

Scatterbug" POV????

She had to help Calem she thought, Calem did everything fo her, she had to return the favor she thought. Scatterbug closed her eyes and began to grow taller and bigger. She grew a white fur coat, which soon became covered in different colors of powder. She then ran faster than she ever did in her life and formed a barrier like structure protecting her and Pikachu from the Pokeball

End of POV

Calem couldn' believe it. His Scatterbug evolve for him, taking the chance that Trevor was distracted by the evolution Calem threw a Pokeball and caught Pikachu.

"Wow when Scatterbug evolved I think it learned Protect" Calem said

"Well your Scatterbug is something else, evolving for you just to catch a Pokemon" Trevor said shaking his head

Calem got his Pokedex and pointed it at his evolved Scatterbug.

"Zzz Spewpa, the cocoon Pokemon. It lives hidden within thicket shadows. When predators attack it quick bristles the fur coverings its body in a effort to threaten them"

"Thank you so much Spewpa, your awesome" Calem said rubbing Spewpa's fur

"Spew, pa" Spewpa said nuzzling Calem while blushing

"Wow so your Scatterbug evolved into Spewpa" Tierno said amazed "I've never seen a Pokemon evolve in front of me before"

"Me either" Calem and Trevor said

Just then Serena and Shauna came walking back towards them with Chespin and Fennekin following them, they waved and quickly ran over.

"So who'd you use for the catching competition?" Shauna said

"I used Charmander" Trevor said

"I used Spewpa, hey stop nuzzling me" Calem said holding Spewpa with a smile

"Wow so your Scatterbug evolved" Serena said looking at Spewpa

"Awww, I wanted to see it evolve" Shauna said with a frown

"I'm pretty sure you'll get so see a Pokemon evolve Shauna" Calem said with a chuckle

The sun had almost finshed setting and the moon was started to come up, when someone's stomach growled they all realized how hungry they were.

"I'll cook, wait you can cook too!" Serena and Calem said

"Ok let's make stew with rice, and some Poke Food for the Pokemon" Calem said

"Sure it's just we don't have all the ingredients" Serena said

"Don't worry we'll help you find them" Tierno said as his stomach growled

"You always were a glutton Tierno" Shauna laughed

"So we don't have any berries, or vegetables" Serena said checking her bag

"At least we have the meat, rice, and Poke Food for the Pokemon" Calem said

"Ok so you guys know what we'll need to find so let's get searching" Shauna said "I'm hungry!"

Trevor, Tierno, and Shuana raced off to find the ingredients they needed, while Serena got some utensils and a pan along with a sunlight powered portable oven. Calem got the meat, rice and Poke Food out.

"So long have you been cooking?" Serena asked turning on the oven

"Every since I was 7" Calrm said while opening everything up "I opened a pack of Insta Noodles and I just exploded from there"

"Same for me, how about this I'll cook the food for us and you cook the food for the Pokemon" Serena said as she put the meat and rice on the stove

"I guess all we have to do is wait for everyone to come back" Calem said

"Wait, let's also cook a little dessert for them as a suprise" Serena said with a wink

"I like the way you think" Calem said with a smile

After about 15 minutes Tierno, Trevor, and Shauna came back holding ingredients.

"Here are the ingredients" Trevor said

"Smells good, keep it up" Shauna said

"When will it be done?" Tierno said fiddling with his fingers

"In about 2 hours" Calem said calmly

"2 Hourssss!!!!" Tierno screamed

"Yeah if you want the meat to taste soft and chewy you need to cook it for a long time" Serena said shaking her head

"A good chef does a good job" Calem said

"I'm pretty sure we can wait" Trevor said

"Ok lets play Truth or Dare to pass the time" Shauna said

"Ok I'll go first,Truth Do you have a crush on a friend Serena?" Shauna said with a wink

"Whaaa, you can't say a personal question like that" Serena said blushing while looking at Calem

"What that's how the game works" Shauna said mischievously

"Come on answer the question" Trevor said playfully

"Yeah I want to know" Tierno said

"Ok I do like a friend at this moment" Serena said blushing while giving Calem a slight glance

"Ok I have a dare for you Shauna, find a bug type Pokemon and hold it for a whole minute" Serena said

"Gross, you know I hate bug type Pokemon" Shauna said

"You have to do it" Serena said grinning evily

"Fineeee I guess I'll do it" Shauna said walking in the Forest

"Ok I have one, have you ever been locked in a room before" Calem said

"That was lame, but I have got stuck in a room before" Tierno said

"Really like you could come up with anything better, yes I actually got stuck in my Mom's closet" Trevor said

"Yep I got stuck in a bathroom stall for a hour" Serena said

"Ok I'm back I found a Weedle" Shauna said looking like she was going to be sick

The Weedle then began moving in Shauna's hand and let out a cry.

"Uhh so gross" Shauna said

"Only 40 seconds left" Calem said looking at his phone

"Ok I dare all of your most embarrassing secert" Tierno said "Mine was when I accidentally walked into the girls bathroom at a restraunt"

"Mine is when my Mom cut my hair and she shaved half of my hair" Shauna said "Okay finally my minute is up" as she let go of the Weedle, it then promptly ran deeper into the forest

"My mine was when I tripped and my shirt ripped in public" Calem said

"My most embarrassing secret is when my parents took us to a fancy dinner with their friends, and I fell over and spilled some chocolate sauce on the back of my pants" Trevor said

"Well mine was I was wearing a skirt, and I forgot to put on my invisible clip ons, so it was ready windy outside and my skirt flew up and everyone could see my panties" Serena said

Everyone voted and mutually agreed that Trevor's secert was the worst, as sunset started turned to evening the group had fun playing Truth or Dare as 2 hours did finally pass.

"Bzzt bzzt" Calem's phone went off

"Looks like the Stew and Poke Food is ready" Serena said

"Aww yeah, time to dig in" Tierno said

Everyone then got paper plates and utensils out. Everyone then got a helping of stew with rice. Then Shauna got out some Sodas.

"I only brought Coke or Sprite so choose which one you want" Shauna said

"Oh yeah I made dessert, macroons" Serena said taking the Sprite

"I'll take Sprite too" Calem said

"I'm choosing Coke" Tierno said

"Same for me" Trevor and Tierno said

"We and our Pokemon can eat them, so come out Froakie, Fletchling, and Spewpa" Calem said

"Come on out Chespin" Shauna said

"Say hi Squirtle, and Pikachu" Tierno said

"Let's go Flabebe and Charmander" Trevor said

"Go Fennekin" Serena said

"Fletch!"

"Froak"

"Spew"

"Ches"

"Squirt"

"Pika"

"Char"

"Flab"

"Fenn"

Everyone found some logs so they could sit down, and found some stones and lit a fire so they could stay warm. Everyone then began to eat, talk, and laugh deep into the night. Everyone said Calem's and Serena's cooking was the best, and decided whenever they meeted they would cook. When everyone finally finshed everyone got out their camping bags and set up their tents. As the stars came out everyone agreed tonight was a good time. Everyone then agreed to wake up early and head to Route 3...
