ACT 1 - SCENE SET 2INT. BAU CONFERENCE ROOM - 2.1
START SCENE
Garcia: Alrighty crime fighters, I hope you got your recommended 8-10 hours of sleep last night because this case is going to use all of your energy. Literally, because the victims are being electrocuted. Three victims so far, Leigh Walters, 23, Scott Sullivan, 45, and Tessa Goldberg, 34.
With each name, she clicks a button on her remote and two pictures show up. One official from drivers' license and in Sullivan's case, a passport photo due to his disability making him unable to drive. One of their lifeless bodies wrapped in a plastic wrap.
Garcia: All residents of the Virginia DC suburbs. All found wrapped in plastic and dumped at GRAVELLY POINT PARK.
Prentiss, mumbling: And now dozens of childhood memories are ruined.
The team looked at her quizzically, it was unlike her to reveal personal details- especially about her childhood.
Rossi, smiling: How so?
Prentiss, embarrassed that they heard that: When I was kid and we were living in the states, my father used to take me there to watch the planes go overhead
Morgan was surprised- she's literally never mentioned her father before. Like ever. If he hadn't known how biology worked, he would have thought she didn't have one.
Morgan: Planes?
Garcia: You've never been to Gravelly Point? That's like.. What it's known for. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is right next to it so when they land or take off, it feels like they're right over your head.
Garcia: It's a super duper cool place!
Prentiss: and now it's the dumping place of a serial killer.
Rossi: Were all the bodies dumped at same time or over the course of a few weeks?
Garcia: All at the same time. They were found by park goers early this morning, around 5 am
Morgan: He crosses race and gender, even age, lines, so type isn't important to him
Rossi: These are probably victims of opportunity then, he grabbed who he could
Prentiss: Are we sure it's a he? The two women were petite and Sullivan was disabled- a fit woman could have done this.
Hotch: We should consider all options. We'll leave in 30. Meet in the parking lot, it's a short drive.
Hotch collected his file and the team stood up, exiting the room.

INT./EXT. MORGAN AND PRENTISS' SUV - 2.2
START SCENE
Prentiss: Garcia, have you been able to figure out what exactly the plastic is?
Garcia (via cell phone): Yes my fine furry friends I have. They're actually shower curtains from the Motel 6 in Falls Church, Virginia.
Morgan, driving : So that's probably where he's keeping and killing them before disposing of them in the park. Prentiss, tell Hotch
Prentiss, dialing Hotch: Hey, Hotch, we got something
END SCENE - CUT TO:
INT./EXT. HOTCH, ROSSI, AND REID'S SUV - 2.3
START SCENE
Rossi held the phone up for him while Hotch drove. It is implied she's just told him about the Motel. Hotch nodded,
Hotch: Thanks, Prentiss. Reid, can you handle the M.E. on your own? Without JJ, we're stretched thin
Reid: Of course.
Hotch: Great. Rossi you go to the Motel, ask around, see if anyone saw anything and see if you can find a room missing it's shower curtains.
Hotch, smiling at Emily: Prentiss, Morgan- you two head to the Dumpsite, since Prentiss apparently knows the scene.
Emily smiled.
Hotch: I'll go set up with the Arlington Police Department.

INT. JJ'S HOSPITAL ROOM - 2.4
START SCENE
Will, accent as thick as ever: You excited to be coming home?
JJ nodded.
JJ: Ugh, yes. Hospital food is starting to make me wish that bullet had gone through my taste buds
Will was clearly made uncomfortable by her dark noticed this.
JJ: too soon?
Will nodded.
JJ: Anyways, I'm excited to see Henry, i've never spent this much time away from him
Will: I know. He misses you too. So have I
JJ nodded.
JJ: Hon, can you-
She gestured for him to help her with the bag of her personal items, including her gun and badge. Will was more than happy to oblige.
Will: Hey, what's going on with Emily?
JJ almost jumped. Did he know?
JJ: What do you mean?
Will: I don't know- she's your best friend yet she's visited you in the hospital like twice? Seems unlike her
JJ pressed her lips into a thin line
JJ, harshly: Spence is my best friend.
Will took this as confirmation that something had indeed happened between the female BAU agents, but he could tell from her tone of voice that he was not to push the issue further. He nodded and picked up her bag.

EXT. POLICE DEPARTMENT BUILDING - 2.5
START SCENE
The Arlington police building was a cold and bland building, with a beige exterior and uniform square windows. The two SUVs pulled into the parking lot. Prentiss and Morgan got out to meet two local officers who would accompany them to the scene.
Reid hopped out of the second SUV with Hitch as the forensic medical examiner's office was in the building. Rossi stayed in the car, as he had to head to the Motel soon. He waited, watching the interaction between the two partners unfold in front of him.
Prentiss: You don't know how happy I am to have two SUVs again.
Morgan chuckled. Morgan threw his arm around her, glad to see her starting back to being her witty self again, even if she still was holding back
Morgan: What, you didn't like getting all up close and personal with me?
Prentiss apparently wasn't there yet because she quickly shoved his arm off, rolled her eyes, and sped up, walking next to Hotch. Rossi noticed the whole interaction. Interesting. He saw them enter the building and drove off.

INT. POLICE DEPARTMENT BUILDING - 2.6
START SCENE
Hotch walked into the police department, his team following him. Morgan and Prentiss walked straight towards the two officers who were waiting to accompany them to the dumpsite. Prentiss still seemed to be annoyed with Morgan.
Maybe she'd been tipped off that it was him who told Hotch to sit down and ask Prentiss some questions. But she'd passed with flying colors, so why be mad at Morgan? It didn't make sense.
Oh well, they had a case to focus on. He could worry about the tiff between the two later.
OFFICER CAMERON, standoffish : You're the Fed
Hotch, taken aback by the officer's tone: That's correct. Is there a problem?
OFFICER CAMERON: You tell me. You don't think we can handle a homicide investigation?
Hotch: The director requested our help on this case. We're here as a resource.
OFFICER CAMERON: So much for a resource. What's one damn fed gonna do that my department can't
Hotch, getting frustrated: I didn't come alone. MY department has already begun working. Unlike you, apparently. I don't see a board or anything set up yet.
OFFICER CAMERON: Yeah, well. If the fancy BAU was coming, why should we do shit?
Officer Cameron sauntered off.
Hotch, amazed at this guy's attitude, muttering under his breath: Unbelievable.
Hotch walked over to the small area they had set aside for the team and paced around. He pulled out his phone to call Rossi
Hotch: Rossi, you at the Motel yet?
Rossi, via phone: About to be, yeah. What's up?
Hotch, quietly: Officer Cameron's going to be an issue
Rossi, via phone: How so?
Hotch: You'll see.
That didn't sound good at all. Guess he didn't have to be worried about the issues between Morgan and Prentiss- Cameron v. Hotch was going to be a bloodbath.
