AN: This is my first fanfiction and it's pretty bad in my opinion. That is however very subjective and it has been about a year since I wrote this chapter. This will be a oneshot since I only wanted to try writing a fanfic once and got a cool idea. I have long since moved on from doing these things, however reading is of course still cool. Anyways on to the story.
Disclaimer: I do not own Warhammer 40k or Naruto. They are owned by their respective owners, and if I owned Warhammer then Tyranids would not lose to plot armour.
"When in doubt.. create a cult!" ~ Unknown
Flashback
Darryl had a decent quirk and by all means he had gotten lucky. So when he went to take care of the new "gang" on the block it had gone good. There had been many weird looking humans running at him and he had quickly dispatched them with his quirk. After all he was not some lowly grunt he was a proud member of The Black Dragons. He continued deeper into the hideout and more and more messed up mutated humans came. They all sure had weird quirks. He had heard of family's with the same quirks but this was just stupid. At one point they became more coordinated and started to strategize more and more, though they were still no match for his gun and quirk.
Gregory was a simple man/broodlord. All he wanted to do was to destroy humanity. They had taken everything from him, or not really them but the Imperium. When the hive fleet had been sucked up in a warp storm after ALMOST taking Terra they had been devastated. Most of the fleet had gone down in flames (not really) and they had struggled to survive in the warp until one day… It had spit them out. There were only a few problems, firstly they didn't know how long they had been in the warp, secondly and most devastatingly they had been ripped away from the hivemind and were unable to reach it. And finally the Imperium was nowhere to be found. After all who knows where they had ended up. After they had been spit out by the warp they had slowly started to move toward the closest planet. They might have miscalculated the distance cause when they reached the planet (ironically called Terra, and earth) they had crashed in the middle of a desert.
There came the conflict, without the hivemind to make all the decisions they had all been in disagreement. Old One Eye had taken his group and foolishly tried to eradicate the first sign of life. It had gone very easily at first, these humans were not even close the the Imperium of mankind's space marines or even guardsmen. But then psykers no… Quirk users had stomped Old one eye, he had never been smart anyways. The Hive Tyrant had taken most of our armies that we had left to try and destroy the humans and had also taken the Norn Queen. Foolishly we had tried to stop the Tyrant. But as usual we could not defeat a Hive Tyrant in combat. Especially with his synapse. He turned us against each other and we were forced to retreat, and WATCH AS THAT PATHETIC BUG KILLED OUR ONLY NORN QUEEN. But we knew that we were not gonna win this with brute force. After all the humans had their quirks and all we had was some genestealers.
So I, no we.. did the only reasonable thing and started a cult, we called it The Brotherhood and it had one goal to fulfill… To destroy humanity. After all those blasted humans had taken away the one thing that we NEEDED. The hivemind. After years of planning we CAN FINALLY TAKE ACTION.
Things were not looking good for Darryl. He had done good… some would even say well. He must have killed almost a hundred of those.. monsters. He couldn't call them human anymore, they had four arms and they fought like animals, furiously yet they also fought in perfect unison. Darryl was pushed back by their suicidal yet effective methods.
"Shit.. Die monster"
Another one to add to the list. This was supposed to be an easy job. A quick adventure to get his pay check for the month, that's what The Black Dragons had said anyways. No heroes and no civilians. Yet this Brotherhood was much more dangerous then he had been informed.
As the bearded villain continued to back away to the mutated horrors he failed to notice a small figure slowly sneaking up on him.
There was only a few more meters until Darryl could flee from this hellhole. He didn't care about his reputation any more and as long as he could get out of here he would stop his life as a criminal. He might even try to get into a U.A. High School. Even though he was nearing his twenties he couldn't care less. As long as he could get out of here.
As the criminal ran he could hear some sort of chittering, it grew louder and louder as he realised that it was coming from behind him. Sneaking a look behind him he could see a horrible sight of a figure that looked like something straight out of an eldritch tale. With tentacles where it's mouth should have been and two mantis-like claws ready to strike. But the worst thing was not the tentacles or claws.. but the eyes… those yellow eyes. Those deep yellow eyes...
Gregory had planned for a long while, for years he had grown his cult and most importantly planned. After all you cannot just walk into a city rampant with criminality and think that you can just take an area. No you need a plan and challenge someone and take their area, but fighting someone in their own place gives them multiple advantages. So, with a few strings pulled and a few people paid The Black Dragons had attacked them. Today was the day The Brotherhood took their rightful place and began their revenge against humanity.
Gregory turned on their device, what was it called again? The humans had very many interesting things that the Imperium had never even thought about creating or perhaps they were too focused on ruining everything for everyone.
"Yesterday multiple members of The Black Dragons were found dead thrown out on the streets. The leader Black Dragon and his right hand man Darryl were found by the police alive. Though they were declared clinically insane after and hour of interrogation."
That will do good. Gregory didn't even need to spread any rumors himself and only needed to let a few members stay alive a few more hours than the rest . Now all he had to do was to sit back and relax. His next objective was to research more heroes and their quirks. Cause if he could get his hands on their bodies he could do what he did with Black Dragon and Darryl which would be beneficial for The Brotherhood.
AN: That is it. Not long an mediocre at best. Liked the idea however nobody was writing about Tyranids so I tried to give them some love. Hope you enjoyed it though.
