I do not own Beyblade but do own the characters I have created and the story.
The Blitzkrieg boys watched in horror at Kai's quivering form on the floor, gasping for breath, his hands clutching his chest. A steady stream of blood from his nose falling onto the floor as his wide eyes darted about madly in their sockets.
"What have you done to him you bastard?" Ian struggled to escape the grip of the men who held him back, "No..! Don-t touch him... let him GO!"
"shut them up," Boris ordered in a bored voice.
Voltaire grabbed Kai and pulled him off the floor. One arm firmly around his shoulders he held Shaking boy up, "… Stand up…" he grunted, trying to steady his grandson. "I said, STAND!" his menacing voice boomed through the large stadium.
Kai's shocked eyes met with Voltaire's and he stood his ground on unsteady feet.
"There," Voltaire said, his voice sounding content. He reached into his pocket and placed something in Kai's palm, "you will listen to me now wont you, my dear?"

A quiet breeze rustled past the open land ruffling the dull green grass, "500 meters south from target location," the man spoke into his collar microphone, his from well hidden within the tall swaying grass. The small camera strapped to his head was relaying real-time images to the screen set up at the safe house. The image jittered as the detractive peered at the screen.
"The building appears to be abandoned sir, our only chance in and out seems to be through that large opening in the south-east section"
"Hold your positions"
"Copy that…"
"Nakano, get the ground plans for that shithole up,"
Nakano opened up a window showing the various levels of the Boivault Kirov Labs, that dizzy had masterfully recreated in 3D.
"There are eight underground levels to this place?" Tyson poked his head in next to Nakano,
"Yes, and that's just all of what we know," detective Mori said.
"Ho-lee"
"So the assault team is on the south wall right now…" Samuel pointed out on the map, "this is going to be a bitch."
"Ok," he said, "Sergeant, your mission is to extract the boy and gather visual evidence only, do not engage if you don't have to."
"Roger that, sir"
"It's a go…!"

"You know what's to be done."
Kai looked down at what Voltaire had handed him, the feel of the thing familiar in his hand. The black blade flaunted a deep purple chip that glittered every time it caught the light, like a beast hungry to burst out and bring ruin on to the world.
"No…" he said in a small voice, "I won't d-o it," and feebly flung the blade back at his grandfather.
"There's my little tiger, always defying." He grabbed Kai by his neck and lifted him off the ground, making the boy gasp even more. "They are coming to get you, you know. We have to have a welcome 'show' for them. Your friends will be so disappointed if you don't set off the fireworks. We don't want that now do we?" he placed the blade back in his hand, "and besides, you are the one who gave the seed to make this beauty, so you are the one who can wield it."
"No…" Kai gasped.
"No? let's change that to a yes, shall we?" he said as he set him down.
Voltaire snapped his fingers at the four boys kneeling on the floor.
"Eni meeni miny mo," Boris's pointed finger stopped on Bryan and a man pulled out a small dagger and stuck it in his back, Bryan's scream filled the stadium as he fell forward.
Voltaire grabbed Kai's face and turned it towards him, looking his horrified grandson straight in the eye, "Still a no?"… "I'll take your silence as a yes."
"Please, grandfather, stop this madness," Kai begged as Voltaire half dragged him to the beydish, "Please, grandfather…!"
Voltaire threw the boy on the launch station, "Madness?" he said, leaning in, bringing his face close to Kai's, "how dare you, you pathetic weakling! I will have the power I deserve, and you will help me get it." he leaned in closer whispering into Kai's ear, "and once I have it, I'll dispose of you, just like I did my good-for-nothing son and your mother." He gathered his grandson up in his arms, standing behind him, "Now." he said pulling back, "I'll help you launch the first attack, seeing as how you are so weak."
Kai tried to fight back but Voltaire clasped Kai's trembling hands in his own and pulled the cord. The world blurred for a moment as new pain shot through Kai and he collapsed in Voltaire's arms, "Focus boy!"

The ground assault team brought down the two men guarding the collapsing building and entered through the crumbling opening on the south-east.
The team cleared corridor after corridor, room after room with skilled precision and coordination, Samuel watching their every move. "Level zero, clear." The sergeant signaled his men to push forward and the man filed down the stairs to the next level. The men worked, exploring the building, practically pulling it inside out.
"It seems strange sir," one of his men spoke, "the place is empty."
They had reached the lowest level, "yes,"
"Push forward," Samuel's voice spoke through their earpieces.
"Roge…"
A sudden tremor shook the building, "what was that?" Samuel's voice barked at them.
"There seems to be a disturbance in the building sir."
"Push forward. Find the source."
The men fanned out into formation once again.

"FOCUS BOY…!"
Kai struggled to keep his eyes open as he felt a massive energy drain.
"There, do you see what you have given birth to my child?"
Through slits, Kai could see the blade spinning in the center of the dish, a black swirl of clouds moving above it, shooting purple bolts of lightning. Then, he felt another drain as Black Dranzer opened its eyes, arching its scaly neck back it let out a piercing scream.
"Ah…" Kai's pale skin was dotted with beads of sweat as he collapsed further in his grandfather's arms. He felt something cold touch the side of his head.
"LAUNCH!" Voltaire screamed over the racket, "Launch or I'll blow his brains out."
The four boys stood on the opposite side of the dish and looked at Voltaire, hate filling every fiber of their being. They readied their blades and launched them into the dish.

The sergeant and his men reached a tall door at the far end of the final floor.
"That's not on the map," Nakano's voice streamed in, "what's that noise?"
"It seems to be coming from the other side,"
"This has to be it"
"Orders to move ahead sir."
"Granted"
The men pulled the heavy doors open, as the Sergeant pointed his gun straight at whatever would meet them once they were opened. But they were greeted with yet another crumbling room. Cautiously they moved into the giant room. They all seemed stunned at what they were witnessing.
It was a giant screen, and on it were images seemingly being streamed in live. Someone with terrible camera handling skills was speaking, addressing them directly.
"Well it's a shame Sherlock is not with you boys," Boris's face moved into view as he pointed the camera at himself, "it would have been so much fun if he'd been there. Ah well, no worries, no worries. Look," he pointed the camera back at the thing that was making all the noise.

Black Dranzer was completely out of control as he assaulted the blades that surrounded it. Diving down and ramming them in an attempt to bring out their beasts.
"Call upon your beasts boys!" Boris yelled his voice overjoyed as he observed the scene unfolding, "Come-on-Come-onnn…! Our audience is waiting for the entertainment to beginnnn," he waved the camera in his hand filming the menacing beast.
Kai felt himself slowly fading every time Black Dranzer lashed out at the other blades. "Call them out," Voltaire screamed at the boys.
"Like hell we will…!" Tala shot back.
Voltaire pointed the gun at Kai's shoulder and to everyone's horror pulled the trigger. Kai's faint scream drowned somewhere amidst the noise, but the fresh blood that pooled at his feet was proof enough that the madman was willing to sacrifice anything to get what he thought was rightfully his.
"WOLBORG..!" Tala screamed enraged at himself, enraged at the man who seemed to bend their will, the man who held their friend hostage!
"WYBORG"
"SEABORG"
"FALBORG…!"
"Now… that's more like it ainit?" Boris grinned as the beasts shot out of their blades, all the four immediately directing their assaults at the giant black phoenix. There was a loud bang and a flash of blinding white light filled the stadium as the beasts collided.
Blood spurted out of Kai's mouth and his eyes widened. His body convulsed every time the beasts collided. Every time they inflicted a wound on the Black phoenix. Voltaire gave Kai a disgusted look and let him fall to the ground. He walked away to stand at the very end of the launch station. He turned to watch the battle beginning to unfold, content, his wait had finally paid off. His eyes fell back onto his grandson.
"You know," he said in his booming voice, addressing the four boys standing opposite him, "the more you fight, the faster your friend dies."
Tala and the others knew that they were fighting a losing battle, the hideous beast was somehow directly connected with Kai, that much was evident right from the beginning. Tala swallowed a lump in his throat "What happens to Kai if we let go?"
"Who knows, maybe he lives maybe he dies…" Voltaire replied shrugging his shoulders, "But if you fight, he dies for sure." He smiled, "Face it boys, you do not have the winning trophy here."
Tala looked at his team, there was defeat in their eyes, "we have to do this, we have to let go," Bryan said, his words thinning amidst the strong currents of wing hitting them from the center of the dish, "that way, Kai at least has a fighting chance."
Tala nodded and his team nodded back and their beasts stopped, each turning to look at their master. They seemed to know now what fate had in store for them. In an instance, Black Dranzer consumed the four beasts, its purple flames licking the sides of the beydish.
That very moment, a mad laughter filled the stadium. It was Kai, he was standing on his feet now, blood still streaming down his injured arm. But his eyes were completely devoid of emotion. With his head cocked to one side, he laughed, a laughter that was mirthless and completely psychotic. He looked up to look at the creature and the creature looked right back at him. Then he looked down at the blade still spinning in the middle of the dish, and the phoenix shot back onto the chip. The blade spun once more and shot at Kai, who caught it.
Another burst of mirthless laughter left him and he began walking forward. Placing one unsteady step in front of another, "t-that wass-s funnn… grandpa…" he said, but it looked like he was speaking to himself.
"KAI!" Tala and Spencer screamed as Kai faltered only to be caught by Voltaire. He snatched the beyblade out of his grandson's tight grip and after a moment let go of him. Kai's limp form fell right down into the dish. He rolled and came to a halt at near the center.
"Kai! No! let go-o!" they fought out of the grasp of Boris's men and jumped right into the dish.
"Kai!" Tala cradled Kai's head, "Kai…!"

They all watched in silence as the slate haired boy fell into the dish, "Woooopssss! And there. He. Goes…" Boris turned the camera to face him, "well that's all for today folks. I hope you have enjoyed your last show on earth. Well ta-taa"

There was a click somewhere behind the Sergeant,
"NO!" but before Samuel could finish his remark the sound of a loud blast filled his earpiece and the visual feed went dead.
Ok then. What do you guys think? Please R&R. this thing is almost coming to an end. I will update as soon as possible…
