Hello everyone,
Long time no see. Im sure that loads of you with this on alert have this linked to a dead email. However, for those of you who are seeing this by some miracle, I wanted to give you a sort of update For years you all supported me and cheered me on as I wrote this silly little story I'd like to let you know that that was actually a very big deal to me. You see, 11 years have passed since I started writing PJO On Crack and since then, I've gotten a degree in writing for film and I'm now working on my Masters in Greek and Roman literature. Exactly what PJO is based on and what Rick Riordan himself has a doctorate in. (I'm pursuing my doctorate too). But for the last 3 days I've been working myself like crazy on my final paper for the semester for my Masters course at Villanova. A review came at the perfect and most serendipitous moment. Wow, how far I've come from writing silly little PJO On Crack to try to connect with people who loved the Classical topics that i did since no one i knew IRL did...all the way to working my butt off for a doctorate in that same field. Right at the moment when I was having the most doubt that I could do this, that review brought me back to all 700+ of the reviews that came before it for this! I read through them and it reminded me that I've been working on this for more than just the past few days or this semester. I've been working on this for over a decade. I'm more than capable.
i have you all to thank for that. For giving a lonely little geek girl a little push. A little encouragement. A little love where it was needed very badly.
Thank you. I know 2020 has been hard for everyone but you should know your good karma will come back to you. I know because i was recipient of your karma before.
Be safe. Be well. Be kind.
Thank you
