Gripping Him (Get your mind out of the gutter)
Darkness was closing in on him, gripping him with its icy tendrils, and he's feeling like being descriptive today, so he narrates the situation in his head. No, he's not scared of this idiot, hasn't been since he was ten, but she doesn't know that, so he acts like he is. His fake stutter is better than Kaede's.
"M-mother, I just want to tell you before I go to bed, that we're going on a school trip in a couple of days, so I need to pack, do you remember where my suitcase is?" He asks, and he winced, again, not because he's scared, but because he really doesn't want her to-
"My little Nagisa is going on a school trip? I have to pack lots of lovely summery dresses for you, and some lovely accessories to go with!" She practically squeals, grabbing him by the hair and roughly pulling out the hair-bands. She probably thinks it hurts him, hopes she does, because she's always trying to subcounciously hurt him, annoyed he was born a boy.
As if she could. To inflict pain, you need to know what pain is. She has no idea real pain.
She brushes it, the bristles stabbing into his head, leaving scratches. It doesn't hurt. She claws at a knot, almost pulling out his hair in the process. It doesn't hurt, and when she notices how his face fails to scrunch up in pain, she gives his blue hair a good tug. Nothing.
She's getting annoyed and frustrated now, not gaining any reaction from him at all, so she grabs to top of his head in her hands and smashes it into the mirror. It cracks, and shards of glass imbedding themselves into the skin on his forehead.
Does she fucking mind? He's already trying to heal his eye, does she understand how difficult this?? Bitch.
"You remember what happened last time" He says with no emotion, and for the first time, she looks scared, and nods.
"You can pack whatever you want for the trip, I don't care" She tried to sound like she'd come to the conclusion on her own, but she wasn't fooling anyone. Nagisa dug his fingers into the cuts in his face and pulled the peices of glass out, one by one, drying blood coating his hands more and more every time.
He thinks he might have to wear that eyepatch a little longer, since he'll delay the healing for awhile to get rid of the cuts.
It's an endless game of cat and mouse between Nagisa and Karma. Just when Karma thinks he has a way to figure him out, to reveal his secrets to everyone, to show them who- what- he is, the boy just finds another way to avoid it, whether it's cryptic words and sentences, or more questions than there answers to them.
Karma Has never gotten so invested in something before, he skips school, he loiters in random places looking for a fight, never staying there long, and he doesn't have much of a home life. His parents are never in. He's practically alone.
That why he doesn't know if his infatuation with Nagisa is a good thing or a bad thing. It isn't just a way to kill time, it's an obsession, an unhealthy one. He's getting in too deep, he can feel it. Nagisa- he's not normal. He's not safe.
Karma's going to get hurt, so why is he so excited? Why does he feel sick with anticipation? Why is he so addicted?
What happened to Nagisa's eye? Why did he tell everyone one It would get better when it's physically impossible to regrow an eye? Why did he come knocking on Karma's door, stating a plan that made no sense? It was fun to carry out, but why was it so... unsettling.
"Why are you here?" Karma asks, not that he really minds much. He could do with something to occupy himself with, right now. He looks up at Nagisa, and is surprised to see the other boy with a smirk on his face that could rival his own."I have a plan to kill Koro-sensei. Actually, that's not true. I have a plan to attempt to kill Koro-sensei, but he can't die, I have ulterior motives" Nagisa smiles, and it sends shivers down Karma's spine. It's like he's looking into the eyes of a deadly snake.
Karma is strong. Karma is destructive. Karma strikes fear into hearts. In his opinion, Karma is badass. But right now, Karma isn't superior, Karma is scared.
"I won't go into detail, but I have something to do, so just follow the plan. I'll explain another time" Nagisa reassured, but Karma still wanted to know. He didn't push.
"So, I'll trap him with this after you jump, because jumping is your original plan, yes? Then, attack him, but don't kill him, let him out hurt, badly, but not dead, yes?" Karma nodded, confused, but he would go along with it anyway.
It's a good thing they're both good actors, Karma thinks.
Hello, sorry if this is a little short and rushed, it's just, I'm eager to get to the next part, but I need to come up with plot development first, so sorry.
I've been feeling like Karma is too inferior to Nagisa, but that's not that effect I wanted to give. Karma isn't scared per se, of Nagisa, but unsettled. Karma can beat Nagisa in a fight right now, because, I don't know if you've ever played a game, but changing a class in a game us not easy.
It's the same here, which us partly why Nagisa is pissed off. But he really liked the sound of fire, too.
Tell me if there are any mistakes and I'll correct them ( :
