"Nagisa?" Sugino says, poking his head through the door of the warehouse. Nagisa wonders why he only says his name when he wasn't the only one kidnapped. Probably because he assumed Nagisa would take the lead and help the girls out.
Nagisa is sat a couple of centimetres away from Kaede and Yukiko, who are huddled together for protection, a knowing, arrogant smile on his face. He holds out his bound wrists in front of him, asking for the ropes to be undone.
Nagisa glances briefly at Kaede, an ounce of distaste creeping up on him. Was she acting now? Or was she genuinely scared? For all she knew, everyone could've died and she chose to do nothing, despite the very obvious fact that she has tenticles. The box above her head reminds him of that every day. She's human, but not completely.
"Nagisa, what happened to the highschoolers" Sugino asks uneasily, backing away after he unties his wrists to stand next to Manami, who's clenching hand up to her chest proactively. He doesn't blame them for being scared, he probably still has that animalistic look in his eyes.
He thinks he's gone off the deep end. He giggles.
"Oh, them~ They went for a walk" He says sweetly, an obvious lie. Karma shoots him a look, as if to say, 'Get your act together'. So big boy Karma thinks he's part of something bigger than himself. He isn't. He isn't even an extra. Not even an NPC. He's got nothing on Nagisa.
He suddenly realises Karma's point, and tones it down a little, because he doesn't want to blow his cover. He frowns, serious again.
"I don't know, I think they left, scared of getting caught" This lie isn't as obvious, and Karma nods. Nagisa gets the strange urge to attack him, because he's acting like he's playing a game. Like he's part of the game. Nagisa sighs, a smile lighting up his features.
"Would'ya look at that, Karma thinks he's important" Nagisa can feel the sides of his mouth stretch unnaturally. He feels numb again, and his mind is buzzing. He feels like laughing. He needs to regain his composure. Karma smirks, and for a moment, it's looks like the two of them are about to fight, but he just crosses his arms.
"Uh, I'm sorry, I'm still a bit shaken up from what happened" Nagisa says, and he feels light-headed and dizzy. He used too much stamina? No, that's not it, it's something else. Did he eat something funny?
The walls around him are blurring, moving, but it doesn't take long for him to notice that's he's the one moving, swaying. He's caught in someone's arms, and his eyes widen, because he didn't know where that highschoolers blood came from, or what was in it.
"Koro-sensei!" Someone shouts happily, but Nagisa is too distraught to figure out who. There red, as he looks up, a blur of red. Did Karma catch him?
"What happened? What's wrong with you three?" He's talking about him, Kaede and Yukiko, Nagisa absently thinks, struggling to get out of those arms, because Karma smells nice and he doesn't want to leave, so he stands, swaying a bit.
"Druuugs aand scaary stufff" Nagisa slurrs, sight still blurry, but hoping octopuses IQ is as high as he says, and he gets it. He'll think that Nagisa's been drugged, and the other two are scared after being kidnapped.
"What about the highschoolers?" Koro-sensei asks. What is this, a fucking game show, he's too fucking high to think about this right now. He thinks he said that out loud.
"They just... up'n died"
Shit. There's a moment of silence. Nagisa shouldn't have said that.
"It was a unicoooorn" Nagisa says in a high pitch, and he tells himself it's to play it off by being really high, but he really does think there's a unicorn now. Wasn't there? Yeah, it swooped in and stabbed them all with its horn.
"What did they give him?" Sugino idly asks, putting a hand on Nagisa's head out of reflex. Nagisa's slumped against Karma, playing with his hair. It's so red, like blood. But it doesn't smell like blood, or taste like it.
"Nagisa, are you eating my hair?" Karma asks, and Nagisa can only give a small "yup" before passing out, more or less. He's still conscious, listening to the conversation everyone is having.
"We're ok, we didn't see anything, we only heard..." Yukiko explains before she's cut off by Kaede. "talking, they talked about leaving"

Karma lifts Nagisa up, putting him on his back, and he wants to complain, but his body isn't working right now, so he just lies his chin on the red heads shoulder, yawning. What the fuck did they give him?
Wait.
Wouldn't the guy he ate have been affected before?

Oh. Nagisa feels better now.
"Karma, put me down, the drug's worn off" Nagisa says calmly, and Karma complies.
"That was quick" Someone comments, but Nagisa can't be bothered with that shit.
This was mostly filler, next chapter has some character development lol.
