Aria and Aggie were riding dragonflys, racing one another throughout the village.
Aria took the lead, shouting, "Try to catch me now."
Aggie smiled, saying, "Watch me!"
Suddenly, the dragonfly Aggie was riding bumped into Aria's dragonfly, making Aria fall off, heading towards the ground.
Aggie quickly jumped off and used her wings to fly and catch Aria just in time. As she brought her back to the ground, Aria said while being impressed, "This is so cool!"
Once they were on the ground, Aria thanked Aggie for saving her as Aggie blushed and shuffled her feet, saying, "No problem. It's the least I could do to help out a fellow friend. What do you say we 'fly' back to the village, magic style?"
Aria was confused as she said, "How can we do that? Rather, how can I? I do not have wings like you."
Aggie pulled out her pixie dust pouch, saying, "There's more than one way to fly," as she sprinkled Aria with a bit of pixie dust.
Suddenly, Aria began to float in the air as she exclaimed in excitement, "This is so much fun! I'm flying like a dragonflys! Look Willow, no feet or wings!"
Aggie flew up to join her as the two smurfs began to fly back to the village.
Back at the village, Smurfstorm was readjusting her scarf and heading out to do border patrol when she looked up and almost gasped in shock. Seeing Aria and Aggie up in the air, she immediately ran to them, shouting, "What are you doing, Aria?!"
Aria looked down at her older sister and waved, saying, "Hi Stormer! Aggie and I are just 'hanging' out. Want to join us?"
Smurfstorm faceplanted while shouting, "Get down from there! You'll Smurf your neck or worse!"
Aria huffed on disappointment as she and Aggie landed on the ground.
Smurfstorm marched up to her younger sister with a concerned/agitated look on her face as she asked, "What were you thinking? More importantly, how were you even doing that," before turning her attention to Aggie, asking suspiciously, "Did you have something to do with this?"
Aggie nodded, saying, "I just sprinkled her with some of my pixie dust and she was flying with me. We had a lot of fun," as Aria nodded with a prominent smile on her face.
Smurfstorm grimaced before muttering to herself, "Of course you'd do something like this." Smurfstorm had high suspicions for Aggie, especially since Aggie was not a real Smurf like she and Aria were. Smurfstorm knew that it would only be a matter or time before Aggie did something to hurt Aria, and she was not going to let that happen. She needed to talk to her.
After a training, Smurfstorm saw Aria kicking some stones on the ground near her house. She approached her and greeted, "Aria, can I have a moment with you?"
Aria stopped kicking, and said, "Of, course, SmurfStorm. What's up?"
"Look, I know you and SmurfAggie are best of friends, but I don't want you to be friends with her that much!" Smurfstorm advised.
Aria asked in shock, "What do you mean? Why?"
"Come on, you know why!"
"Stormer, I know SmurfAggie has been lying to us, but she doesn't want to tell us because she's afraid we might not like her."
Smurfstorm crossed her arms in anger, "Well, I don't like her. She's a liar, and she's not a real smurf. I knew since we found SmurfAggie there is something suspicious about her."
"You have the same suspensions with Smurfette," Aria reminded, "SmurfStorm, just give SmurfAggie a chance. All she wanted was friends."
SmurfStorm groaned and rolled her eyes in defeat, "Fine, but I have to warn you. That smurf was never been a smurf, and she doesn't belong in our world. Who knows what she'll do next?"
Aria secretly rolled her eyes, and looked away, not wanting to believe SmurfStorm's suspicions about SmurfAggie. She knew Aggie that she couldn't do something to hurt the other smurfs.
Aria could tell by the look in Smurfstorm's eyes that there was a deeper reason to her suspicions. She calmly asked Smurfstorm, "Is there something else that's bugging you about me befriending Aggie?"
Smurfstorm was hesitant, but answered, "Okay, you caught me. The truth is...I'm a little jealous. You and Aggie look so close, it reminds me of how close we were before you got swept up. Be honest, do you like Aggie more than me?"
Aria placed a comforting hand on Smurfstorm's shoulder, saying, "What? No! I like Aggie, she's a great friend, but she could never replace you Stormer. You're my older sister and best friend for life. Always have been, always will be."
Smurfstorm felt a little better, saying, "Thanks Ari. It does make me feel a bit better, though I am still highly suspicious of Aggie, seeing that she was never a smurf to begin with. Just be careful Ari, the last thing I want is for you to get hurt or worse...betrayed."
Aria sighed before saying, "You know I am always careful, but it would help if you loosened up a little and be a little more open. Try to get to know Aggie for who she is rather than who you see her as. If you need me, I'll be practicing archery with Smurflily and Smurfette."
Aria got up and left, leaving Smurfstorm alone with her thoughts, especially about the advice her little sister just offered.
A couple of months later, before Aggie returned to Smurf World from her home world, Aria was looking for Smurfstorm because she wanted to go exploring in the forest. She found her sweeping the path to the village. She went up to her older sister, saying with a smile, "Hey sister! Want to go exploring?"
Not only got an angry look as a response, but a big, agitated, "No!"
Aria jumped back in shock as she asked, "Who put a bee in your hat?"
Smurfstorm sighed as she answered, "Sorry, but I am not in the mood. Even if I wanted to, I can't. Ever since I returned from Aggie's adventure to get her remote, me and the other smurfs got grounded and have to do these boring chores as punishment. Meanwhile, Aggie not only returns home, but gets off scot-free. Honestly, I hope she never comes back. She's nothing but trouble, always have been, always will be."
Aria did her best to comfort her older sister, saying, "Easy. I know you are upset, but don't blame her. You did the right thing, as well as the others. Besides, I am sure if Aggie was here, she would-,"
But got interrupted by Smurfstorm angrily shouting at her, "I don't care! She's not even a real smurf! Honestly, am I the only smurf who sees her for who she truly is? A big liar with magic used for trouble and conflict?! If you like her so much, why don't you make her your sister?!"
Aria gasped in shock as tears developed around her eyes. Smurfstorm clasped her hand over her mouth after realizing what she said, but before she could apologize, Aria ran off crying. Smurfstorm felt really bad as she could only whisper, "What have I done"?
Later, hours after SmurfAggie returned, Aria is writing something on a paper on her desk, until she heard someone knocking on her door, "Come in!"
The door opened as Papa Smurf, SmurfWillow, Smurfette, Hefty, Clumsy, Brainy, SmurfBlossom, SmurfStorm, and SmurfLily entered With worried look on her face.
"Aria, is SmurfAggie here?!" Smurfette asked.
"I haven't seen her since she came back. Why?" Aria asked in confuse.
"We just discovered the flower SmurfAggie used as her clothes were smurfed up by Gargamel!" SmurfWillow explained.
"What does that mean?" Aria asked.
"He might have put an explosion spell on the flower!" Papa Smurf replied.
"You mean the flower that Aggie wore… right now?! We have to find her!"
"How could she ran away all of a sudden?" SmurfLiliy wondered.
"Maybe she skipped off into the forest. You know she's very joyful," SmurfBlossom thought.
SmurfStorm has been holding her breath since Papa Smurf and SmurfWillow asked around where Aggie is. She remembered how she shouted so loud at SmurfAggie before she ran off. She was so guilty for hurting SmurfAggie, but SmurfStorm couldn't imagine she went too far. She couldn't hold the guilt any longer as she confessed loudly.
"OH, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! AGGIE RAN AWAY BECAUSE I SNAPPED AT HER! I TOLD HER SHE'S NOT A REAL SMURF LIKE US, AND SHE'S THE REASON WE GOT PUNISHED FOR GOING BACK TO SMURFY GROVE! AND THEN, SHE RAN AWAY!"
The other smurfs gasped
"SmurfStorm, how could you?!" SmurfWillow scowled at her
"I was angry. I never thought I went too far," SmurfStorm admitted.
"Well thanks to you, we can't find Aggie anywhere when she was now in danger!" Hefty yelled.
"And we must find her before she'll explode!" Papa Smurf said.
At the forest, Papa Smurf, SmurfWillow, Smurfette, Hefty, Clumsy, Brainy, SmurfBlossom, SmurfStorm, SmurfLily, and Aria ran as quickly as possible to find SmurfAggie before it's too late. They also brought Sassette with them to give reasons to Aggie for not being a real smurf like her and Smurfette.
"We must have SmurfAggie with this anti-explosion solution before noon." Papa Smurf said as he carried a bucket of his anti-explosion solution.
"I'm sorry I told her that she's not a real smurf, Papa, Willow." SmurfStorm admitted. "You know I'm not really fond of her sometimes."
"There she is." Hefty pointed at SmurfAggie, who was chasing Gargamel, Azrael, Monty and Scruple as they ran away from her.
"Don't you want to get to know me, Gargamel? Don't you wanna know my secret?" SmurfAggie sobbed.
"No, no! Not in a short time!" Gargamel yelled as he and his companions climbed up on a tree.
"But I don't understand why nobody likes me anymore." SmurfAggie shook down her head sadly.
Suddenly, she heard familiar voices calling her name as she turned around as saw her smurf friends.
"Come here! Hurry, hurry!" Smurfette called.
"I don't belong with you anymore, 'cause I'm not a smurf." Aggie sobbed as she flew up on the tree.
Smurfette and Sassette rushed towards the tree that SmurfAggie flew up to the four villains.
"We know how you feel, SmurfAggie." Smurfette started. "I'm not a smurf, remember? I was made by Gargamel from a lump of clay and used magic to make me exist."
"So do I, SmurfAggie. I was made from clay by the smurflings, and used Gargamel's spell to bring me to life." Sassette added. "But we both learned to become a real smurf, so could you."
"I can?" SmurfAggie almost shed a tear.
"Of course, you can, of course." Gargamel said from the top of the tree with Azrael, Monty, and Scruple holding to him as they all tried to get away from SmurfAggie. "You belong with them, SmurfAggie. They love you so much! They really do!"
"For once in your life, Gargamel, you're right!" SmurfWillow said.
"Then, you do want me?" Aggie asked with a squeaky voice.
"Of course, we all do!" Aria exclaimed.
SmurfAggie flew down towards her friends happily, and landed besides Smurfette, Sassette, and Aria
"Sorry about this." Papa Smurf threw the solution towards SmurfAggie as she, Smurfette, and Sassette got wet.
SmurfAggie chuckled. "Well, I guess Papa Smurf likes to have fun too."
"That was so close." Clumsy sighed in relief.
"The smurf it mildly." Papa Smurf said. "If those clouds hadn't covered the noon day sun."
This is chapter 2. Special thanks to MasterClass60 for sharing me her idea on the first part. I also rewrote the rest of the scene from my original story, A Human Smurf.
