Preoccupied ( ͡ ͜ʖ ͡)
You have no idea how long I've waited for this" Nagisa says, grinning like an idiot, like a kid that just got a new bike or something. It's like Christmas for him, the most wonderful time of the year. He can practically taste the sweet sweet revenge on the tip of his tongue.
Karma isn't watching from the forest anymore, because he's running from the opposite side of where Nagisa was hiding, eyes wide, filled with something that isn't shock. He knows what's going on, and he's almost as excited as Nagisa.
"About your question before, Karma" Nagisa starts, facing Takaoka, but eyes on Karma. He's not looking at Takaoka as a sign of disrespect, telling him that he doesn't see him as a threat that you have to be cautious around.
"What-" Karma looks Nagisa in the eye, and then glances at Takaoka, understanding what's about to happen. Nagisa knows Karma would like some popcorn right about now.
"I'm about to kill a puppy with a rock"
Everybody's still, unmoving, eyes watching, some in fear, some in curiosity, but mostly in shock. Nagisa turns to them, eyes crazed, smiling, holding a life in the air, showing it off. The metal glints in the light. His back is to Takaoka.
"This" He motions his hands around the area, mostly to Takakoka's vicinity.
"Is how you kill someone"
He turns around inhumanly fast, sharp teeth showing in his grin. Dust gathers at his feet, and fire, exploding at his ankles, giving him an extra boost. Nobody can see a thing with how fast he is, they only see Takaoka, smirking.
Stupid human thinks he can win.
There's less than a second- a millisecond - And Nagisa's behind the monster, knife poised, read to strike, flames surrounding his victim, his prey, licking at his skin, burning it, only a bit. The man is frozen, sweat from heat and fear dribbling down his face.
Or tears. Delicious delicious tears. He wants to see a grown man cry, more. He wants more blood. More fear. More pain. More more more more.
BEEP BEEP.
Not now. Now he gets revenge. Now he can be happy, and once this man is gone, Nagisa can be with his brother again. He can finally leave this disgusting place, and be with his big brother.
BEEP BEEP.
EXP CAN NOT BE GAINED AT THIS TIME. CHALLENGE CAN NOT BE COMPLETED AT THIS TIME. PLEASE WAIT.
"What?!" He hisses, the flames bursting out more powerful, and his hands shaking. No, he needs to kill him. Needs needs needs.
"I can't have a student killing a teacher, now, can I" Nagisa knows that voice, it's Gakuho Asano, the principal, right beside him. When did he get here?
"No no no no no no" Nagisa repeats, knife falling to the ground, and he turns to the man, growling like a wild animal. Gakuho only smiles, his face threateningly close to Nagisa's, the same smile he makes when his plan is going accordingly.
He moves away from the shocked Nagisa, and over to Takaoka, placing a hand on his shoulder and handing him some papers. Then, as quickly as he came, hes gone, walking back to the main Campus, leaving a confused class, a shocked Nagisa, and a terrified Takaoka.
Nagisa doesn't move, and he lets the monster walk away, (more like stumble). He watches, not even making an attempt to stop him. It was his plan from the start not to kill the monster, and instead let him live with the same insanity Nagisa feels gnawing at his brain, waking him up in cold sweat every night.
But seeing it before him, that chance, that temptation. It was impossible to refuse. He wanted to kill him so badly, but there's something inside Nagisa that tells him not to go against the principal.
The human part of Nagisa, the very little humanity that's left, is scared. No, scared is the wrong word. Cautious. Nagisa isn't scared of the man, because Gakuho won't kill him, and even if he did, Nagisa isn't scared of death.
He just doesn't want a wrench thrown into his plan. And Gakuho is probably one of the only people who could possibly do that.
"Nagisa, what the hell was that!?" Karasuma shouts, finally letting his temper get the best of him. Nagisa isn't drowning in insanity anymore, so he laughs in a friendly way and rubs the back of his neck.
"Sorry, guess I shouldn't have been so dramatic" But he doesn't really regret anything, because Nagisa loves loves loves being dramatic.
"I should probably explain, it's simple really, That monster killed my brother, now I'm going to kill the monster" He says, twirling the knife around in his hand before giving it to Karasuma, who takes it quickly, as if not trusting Nagisa with it any longer than necessary.
He should've expected this. He doesn't blame them, he wouldn't trust someone who went phyco randomly and tried to kill a person, monster or not.
"What about the... fire" Sugino asks, and Nagisa regards the question with a lot of thought, before smiling.
"I aiming to be a fire mage, but the octopus decided to come and make me change classes" Nagisa says, pissed off (Still) because he really really wanted to be a mage. Everyone just looks more confused.
"Wha-"
"Life is a game, and I'm just the one playing it. Now, can we get back to class?" He asks, not that he actually wants to go to class, but he's bored now. He sees Karma staring at him smugly, so he walks to him.
"Wow, I would've never imagined. Wish I had popcorn" The red head says, looking down at Nagisa with... respect? Something that makes Nagisa blush, but he keeps it cool.
"I noticed" He snorts. Karma nods.
"Hey, Nagisa" Karma starts. Nagisa looks up at him, and Karma blushes too. Nagisa thinks that maybe Karma wants to tell him something.
"Yea" Nagisa is lost in those eyes now.
"You were holding the knife the wrong way the entire time" Karma smirks, laughing, and Nagisa blushes even more, before standing on his tip toes, mouth next to his ear.
"In case you hadn't noticed, I was kind of preoccupied" He whispers, making sure to blow it straight into his ear. Then, as he moves, he plants a kiss on Karma's lips, before walking away.
Karna is as red as a tomato. (more than usual).
