chapter 3: training

over the next few months naruto had been training constantly, pushing himself as hard as he could. In those few months naruto had mastered tree walking, water walking and walking upside down on roofs. His fuinjutsu had come along nicely, his taijutsu was now appealing, his already monstrous stamina had increased 10 fold and finally his intelligence had significantly increased due to the fact that tenzo hated stupid shinobi because stupid shinobi were a burden rather than a blessing.

these are naruto's development so far.

AN: /10 = genin level

/20 = Chunin level

/100 = low jonin level

/ 450 = Mid jonin level

/ 1000 = Elite jonin level

/2500 = kage level

Taijutsu - 4/10 (hes broken through to the genin rank, once he gets 10/10 his taijutsu will be considered chunin level)

genjutsu - 2.5/10 (he has more chakra than most jonin, by the time he graduates his chakra will rival that of Hiruzen so he wont be doing genjutsu anytime soon)

Ninjutsu - 5.5/10 (only knows the substitution jutsu, the henge and shadowclones)

Fuinjutsu - 7.5/10 (hes half 3 fifths uzumaki, so he will obviously do better in this shinobi art)

Chakra control - 8/10 (Tenzo makes him train mostly in chakra control since he has huge amounts of chakra that is steadily growing)

Intelligence - 5.5/20 (once his stats become /20 it means hes broken into chunin rank)

Speed - 9/10 (Naruto was always fast in the original, to be able to outrun most chunin and anbu you have to be extremely fast, keep in mind naruto here is only 6 about to turn 7)

"fifty-eight, Fifty-nine, s-s-sixty", naruto says struggling to do the last pushup. "Tenzo sensei, I've done my sixty push ups, pull ups, squats and 10 laps around training ground 1. Can we please start doing ninjutsu training, because over the past 8 months we have been doing nothing but chakra control exercises, taijutsu and reading." Naruto says with a pleadig look on his face.

"Naruto, can I ask you a question?" tenzo said walking over to the boy. "Shoot", naruto said excited. "If I let you start doing ninjutsu right now with your level of chakra control what do you think will happen?", tenzo asked folding his arms. "I'd be a step closer to becoming hokage", Naruto yelled. "No you would die. with your level of chakra control you're only at best mid genin level. To start doing ninjutsu you must have a chakra control of a solid chunin, if not the jutsu will explode in your face causing you to die. And I do not want to be the cause of the death of the next head of the senju and uzumaki clans", tenzo said patting naruto's head.

"But sasuke-teme can use Katon jutsu and he is only 4 months older than me" Naruto said pouting. "Naruto, sasuke is an uchiha, they all have an extraordinary affinity for Katon jutsu", "plus he has great chakra control", tenzo added with a smirk. "fine, but can I atleast know my affinities?", naruto asked. tenzo paused for a few moments before nodding. "Sure, What harm could come from this". Tenzo pulled out a chakra paper and handed it to naruto. "you know how to use this right?" he asked, earning a nod from naruto.

Naruto added his chakra into the paper and it split onto two pieces, then one of the pieces burst into flames while the other got extremely wet before crumbling into dust. "Incredible, you have a strong affinity for fire and water style jutsus while having affinities for earth and wind style jutsu", tenzo said with his eyes wide like saucers. 'I'll need to tell Hokage-sama about this maybe senpai could help with this when the time comes.' tenzo thought to himself.

"Naruto we will need to go and see Hokage-sama about this", tenzo said in a serious tone. "why did i do something wrong?", Naruto asked. "No, we need to tell hokage sama that ypu have 4 nature affiliates, I'll request for my friend to help you", tenzo said as he placed his hand on naruto's should and shinshuins away.

The next day naruto was doing laps around training ground 1. he then went to do his pushups and other forms of exercise. After than naruto went through some taijutsu forms before having his normal 3 hours taijutsu spars with tenzo which consisted of him getting his ass kicked. while this was going on naruto 100 clones working on his chakra control by water walking and sparing. 200 reading a variety of books rangingfrom politics and history to fuinjutsu and music composition.

Another 200 clones focused on fighting on the trees upside down. while 10 shadowclones meditated. This was naruto's trainign routine. After training naruto would go to the academy and pretend to be bad because tenzo didn't want his true skills to be revealed until he was a genin.

3 years later

Naruto was walking down the streets of konoha, ignoring the usual glares he got. He made his way to the academy for his lectures. As naruto walked in he sat beside the window and fell asleep. "Naruto baka move, you're in sasuke-kun's seat", A pink haired girl yelled. Naruto looked up at her and smiled. "Hey sakura-chan want to go on a date with me?", Narutl asked smiling. "No you Baka why would I ever go on a date with the dead last", she shrieked. suddenly the whole class erupted in laughter while pointing at naruto.

'I'm the dead last? really? If they all found out that I was the last senju in Konoha I bet they wouldn't be laughing. Stupid tenzo sensei making me hide my true talent. Just wait till graduation day then I'll show you all who naruto senju is and what he us capable of', he though to himself. Naruto decided to ignore their laughing and sleep. As naruto continued to sleep he head someone shouting his name. He suddenly woke up because Iruka hit his head. "Ow sensei what was that for?", he said feeling annoyed. which caused the class to laugh again.

"That was because you did not pay attention or answer my question.", Iruka said annoyed. "I dont care about these stupid shinobi history they're boring and I'd rather sleep like Shika over there", naruto said pointing at shikamaru. "Dammit naruto why'd you have to sell me out", Shikamaru said. "Heh sorry shika but All for one and one for all", He said smirking. "Troublesome blonde", shikamaru said going back to sleep.

Iruka got even more irritated and kicked out both naruto and shikamaru. As both boys walked out of school naruto decided to visit the hokage while shikamaru went clous watching in the park. As naruto walked into the hokages office he saw his grandfather huffing and grumbling away from all the paper work he had been doing

"Hey Jiji, whatsup", naruto said smiling "hello Naruto-kun how are you today?", Hiruzen said "Fine Jiji I just got kicked out of class because i was asleep", Naruto said yawning. "naruto thats not nice.", hiruzen said laughing "Jiji but its soo booring, I already know all the materials, heck i know more about this village than those teachers so i decided to sleep", Naruto said frowning

"naruto but still you have to attend. A good ninja is one who perseveres.", Hiruzen said. " I guess Jiji, then that means you dont want to know the secret to permanently beating paperwork, by Jiji", naruto said walking away. "WAIT, now we can't make such hasty decisions naruto", Hiruzen said in a hurry. "Sorry Jiji but i cant", naruto said walking. "Naruto I'll give you anything. Heck I'll even make you hokage once you turn chunin", Hiruzen said desperately. "Sorry Jiji but you yourself said a ninja is one who perseveres, so Jiji persevere", naruto said walking out of the room. "Naruto I'll do anything", Hiruzen said begging. Naruto stopped for a moment. "Anything?", naruto said. "Anything, " Hiruzen said quickly. A wicked smile grew on naruto's face. "deal, I want 5 B ranked jutsus in all the nature releases i know, i want a whole year of free ramen paid by you and I want you to help me learn lightning jutsus and spar with me twice a week.", naruto said. "Deal, now tell me the secret", Hiruzen demanded.

Naruto smirked and did a cross hand sign and a shadowclone appeared. Suddenly Hiruzen's eyes wided in shock and anger. He suddenly walked to his desk and started banging his head on it. "Baka, Baka, BAKA", he yelled. causing everyone in the room to sweatdrop. "Err Jiji you ok?", naruto said . Suddenly Hiruzen looked up with a smirk on his face and did a cross shalled seal. 6 shadowclones popped into existence and nodded at the original. "lets go Naruto-kun we've got ramen to eat and taijutsu to be doing", Hiruzen said walking out of the room with naruto.

3 years later

Naruto woke up to his alarm clock ringing. "yess today is the day i finally become a ninja", naruto said getting up to brush his teeth. Thirty minutes later naruto walked out his apartment and walked to the academy. Naruto sat down on his seat and smirked. Iruka walked in holding a stack of papers. "Alright class today is the day you finally become ninjas, that is if you pass, i wish you the best of luck. now please be quiet for the role ".

"Sakura haruno", "Here", "Hinata Hyuga", "H-Here", (25 names later), he got to naruto's name and suddenly his blood ran cold. This caused naruto to smirk and the rest of the class to look at him with concern. "Na'Naruto Senju", he stuttered.

The whole class became quiet, so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. "Here",

Naruto's stats after 7 years of training.

Taijutsu - 19/20

genjutsu - 6/10

Ninjutsu - 15/20

Fuinjutsu - 75/100

Chakra control - 40/100

Intelligence - 750/1000 (I.Q 175)

chakra reserves - kage level (Hes a fucking uzumaki and senju)

Speed - 19/20

level: Elite chunin. /he hasn't broken into the jonin rank and he wont until his 3 year training trip with Jiraiya.
