AN: hi guys, sorry i didnt upload on sunday but this week has been hectic for me. But anyways I'm just here to tell you that after the land of waves arc which should be up tomorrow around 11pm at night things will begin to deviate from cannon, thought by Christmas is when i plan on finishing the land of wave arc, even now the story will change. I plan on adding quite a few "upsets" in this alternate universe.

Chapter 4: Naruto senju
"N-Naruto senju", Iruka said shocked. The whole class was dead silent. "Here", Naruto said smirking. A few seconds passed and no one said anything. "WHAT", was heard throughout the class. Suddenly the whole class was in an uproar. "How can the Dobe be a senju, the senju are skilled not losers like naruto", kiba yelled.
"I am a senju Mutt, and the reason why no one knew about it was because, Hokage-Jiji wanted me to become strong enough, so that when the world knew that the senju had an heir, I would be strong enough to handle myself", Naruto said in a calm tone that no one had ever heard him use. Shikamaru narrowed his eyes.
"Hokage-Jiji?, Dobe how are you so friendly with the hokage", One of the boys asked. Naruto ignored that question and said nothing. The class waited for him to say something but nothing was said. In the corner the last uchiha was mentally grinning.
'If the Dobe is a senju, I can use him to make myself stronger to defeate HIM. Father always said that the reason why Madara was powerful was because he always competed with Hashirama Senju, both men always pushed themselves to become strong'.
Mizuki on the other hand was nearly shaking with happyness? 'Yes, Lord Orochimaru will praise me if I deliver him the senju aswell as the scroll of sealing'
"Iruka sensei, please continue", Naruto said. Iruka stared at naruto for a few seconds trying to understand what the hell had just happened. After a fee more seconds he cleared his throat and began. "Alright class listen up, you have 2 hours to finish this exam. Mizuki sensei will now hand you a sheet of paper, this is the first part of the graduation exam. You must answer 4/10 to pass", Iruka said while he handed Mizuki the exampapers.
'Jiraiya-Jiji was right, the academy curriculum is a joke, 4 questions answered correctly to pass? pathetic, they wouldn't last 1 second in a real battle', Naruto said to himself.
When Mizuki gave Naruto his test, he smiled at him, which caused Naruto to narrow his eyes before quickly smiling back at him. This though did not go unnoticed by Shikamaru as the young Nara clan head had kept his eyes on Naruto ever since he heard that he was a Senju.
Shikamaru had many questions running through his mind, but the most troublesome one was how the hell did Naruto manage to keep this a secret for years. The Naruto he knew could never ever keep a secret, so how the hell could this Naruto?. This led to another troublesome question. 'What else are you hidding Naruto'.
Naruto could feel Shikamaru silently assessing him and it made him laugh in his mind. 'Sorry Shika, but you'll have to wait after class for me to tell you everything'. Naruto looked at the exam in front of him and sighed. 'If anyone fails this then they dont deserve to be shinobi'.
After 10 minutes Naruto had answered all the questions and decided to take a nap. Iruka looks up at the sleeping Naruto and his face goes red.
"Naruto, will you stop sleeping and finish your test", Iruka yelled. Naruto opened his left eye and looked at Iruka with an emotionless expression. "I've already finished this sorry excuse for an exam. And to be honest with you, if anyone was to fail this 'exam', Then they have no reason to be a shinobi", Naruto said closing his eye. The class was silent for a minute before Kiba got up to yell at Naruto.
"Real rich coming from the dead last, I bet you couldn't even answer any of these questions, and just because you're a senju doesn't mean that you are automatically better than everyone", Kiba yelled.
Naruto flinched at this before opening his eyes and looking at kiba. Cold light blue eyes met dark brown eyes.
"Kiba, you keep referring to me as the 'dead-last', but what you don't know about me is that both my Jiji's asked me to act weak and stupid so that no one would suspect me as I trained to become stronger. If I was to show my real strength, I could no 'would' have graduated when I was 7, and if im not mistaken that was the age Itachi uchiha graduated from the academy at", Naruto said in a cold tone. The mention of itachi caused sasuke to grit his teeth.
"Listen Mutt I dont have time to waste proving myself to you or anyone for that matter, Iruka sensei I'll be back in 2 hours time", with that Naruto disappeared in a shunshin leaving everyone in the class speechless. 'Did Naruto just disappear', was what everyone simultaneously thought.
Naruto then appeared outside the academy gates and headed straight to the hokage tower. As he was walking, he could see the glares of hatred from the village. Naruto ignored them and was willing to ignore them untill someone got a rock and threw it at him.
Naruto ofcourse dodged with ease and appeared behind the man with his kunai pointed at his throat. "If you ever and I mean ever throw something at me again, I'll kill you", Naruto said as he kicked the civilian and continued to walk to the hokage tower. As he made his way people kept their distance from him but still glared at him.
Naruto had had enough of their foolishness and shunshined to the hokage office. When Naruto appeared he Hiruzen and Donzo talking. Immediately the anbu surrounded Naruto pointing their swords at his neck. "Hello to you to", Naruto said from behind them with a kunai aimed at one of the anbu's neck.
The anbu's eyes suddenly widened as the 'Naruto' infront of them burst into smoke. Hiruzen and Donzo both grinned at Naruto's skill with the shadowclone jutsu. "That's enough", Donzo said still smiling. the anbu disappeared. "Naruto, what can we do for you today", Hiruzen asked.
"Jiji, Donzo I want my heritage to be made public.", Naruto stated staring at both their eyes. "Now Naruto you know that we cannot do that", Hiruzen said frowning. "Jiji yes you can, you're the Hokage damit", Naruto said as he crossed his arms.
"Naruto, why should we do it", Donzo spoke up. "I'm tired of people underestimating and hating me for something that isn't my fault. Jiji do you know that on my way here I was attacked", this caused Donzo and Hiruzen to frown greatly.
"Plus you've already revealed my heritage at the school why stop now?", naruto asked sitting down on the chair. "Naruto, if we make your heritage public youll be in da-", "Danger of what Jiji?, I'm a solid elite chunin in power and im close to being a jonin, so Jiji what danger will i put myself in?, without using woodstyle im am elite chunin, when using woodstyle and eventually the kyuubi chakra I'd be mid to elite jonin,", Naruto interrupted.
"Jiji, if you were to reveal my heritage, the village would also become much more powerful, and likely retire anyday now. Meaning no more paper work and I can even get Jiraiya-Jiji to give you all the makeout tactics you want. Heck you could go peeping with the pervert.", Naruto reasoned.
Hiruzen thought for a moment before asking Naruto something. "Naruto you mentioned the village would become more powerful how?", Hiruzen asked earning a nodd from Donzo.
"Jiji, you yourself told me that since Tou-san's death and the uchiha massacre, Iwa and Kumo have been testing our power by sending a squad or two to our borders. And being honest, war will happen soon if something is not done", Naruto reasoned with Hiruzen.
"I've come up with a solution, If you reveal me to the world, Baa-chan will come home. And with her home Jiraiya-Jiji will come back sooner. If we have both the sannin back and the senju and uchiha clan heirs stronger, then Iwa and kumo will back off for a while "
"And that will give Baa-Chan time to train future medic ninja and also for Jiraiya-Jiji to complete training me. And with both of them home either of them could replace you, but it would likely be Baa-chan as me and Jiraiya-Jiji will be training. And by the time Iwa and Kumo try anything to start a war, Konoha will be stronger and ready. And we will crush them.", Naruto stated.
This caused Donzo to grin. "Naruto, You'll make a better hokage than Hiruzen and your ancestors, even your father", Donzo said walking out of the room. 'Sensei, your great-grandchild will lead Konoha to new heights', Donzo said as he continued to walk out of the office.
Hiruzen thought on Naruto's words for a moment before sighing. Maybe Naruto was right, Iwa and Kumo were definitely trying to spark a war with Konoha, and right now they were not at their strongest. No since the kyuubi incident Konoha had gotten weaker, and with the uchiha massacre they had become evem weaker than that.
Naruto was certainly making sense, and with tsunade and Jiraiya back in the village Iwa and Kumo would definitely stop with whatever they have planned. That would definitely give Konoha atmost 3 or 4 years to get stronger for whatever the future had in store for them. And if it was war, then they'd be strong enough to come out on top just like they had done with the last 3 wars.
The reason why they had won all wars were because of their S-rank shinobi. In the first ninja war they had Donzo, Tobirama, Hashirama and Himself. In the second war they had Sakumk Hatake, Orochimaru, Haru senju, Tsunade senju and Jiraiya. In the third war they had wicked eye fugaku, Kushina Uzumaki, His own son and the most dangerous of all, a man on a league of his own, Minato Namikaze or should we say Senju.
By the time the fourth war would come they would need new S rank shinobi, they already were guaranteed two, they being Sasuke uchiha and Naruto senju. Yes both boys would become the next Madara and Hashirama they would become the next Gods of shinobi.
They already had Kakashi Hatake, someone who was bordering S-rank, as well as might guy, who was bordering S-rank with his basic taijutsu and when using the gates he could easily match Hiruzen. But would that be enough?. No they needed both tsunade and Jiraiya to train the next generation.
Yes Naruto was certainly correct. "Ok Naruto-kun we will reveal your Heritage today after the graduation. And from tomorrow onwards you will start living in the Senju clan compound and all the Senju and Uzumaki assets will be handed down to you. Your parents' money will be given to you by tomorrow's end.", Hiruzen said, earning a smile from Naruto.
With that Naruto got up gave a thumbs up to the Hokage and disappeared in a shunshin. Once he left Hiruzen looked out at the village and smiled. 'Naruto, your will of fire burns brightly, no it Illuminates this whole village. You'll truly surpass your predecessors and become the greatest Hokage'.
Naruto arrived to the hokage mountain and sat on Hashirama's head. He didn't know why but something about hashirama drew naruto to him. Naruto closed his eyes and decided that he would meditate.
Meditation was one of Naruto's way of thinking when something worried him. Tenzo had always suggested that he meditate when he was worried or if he wanted to gather his thoughts before making his next move.
After an hour of meditating naruto shunshined back to the academy. When Naruto appeared the whole class just looked at him. He ignored them and sat down. Iruka came in and said out the results. "In fifth place is shino aburame, in fourth place is sakura haruno, in third place is sasuke uchiha, in second place is shikamaru nara and in first place is Naruto senju", Iruka said.
"WHAAT", that was what the whole class said in unison. "HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE, HOW CAN NARUTO THE CLASS DOBE RANK HIGHER THAN ME, HECK HIGHER THAN SHIKAMARU", Kiba yelled.
"Listen mutt it's either you're stupid or you're stupid, I thought i made it perfectly clear that I was forced to pretend to be the dobe.", Naruto said sitting down.
Before Kiba could respond Iruka started talking. "Alright class can those who failed please leave. Now can the rest of the people here please go to training ground 15 for our spars", Iruka stated.
More than 40 people had left the class because they had failed. 'Pathetic', thought Naruto and Sasuke simultaneously. As the rest of the class made it to the training ground Sasuke walked up to Naruto and grabbed his arm.
Naruto paused for a second and looked at Sasuke. "What do you want Sasuke", Naruto asked. "Just because you're a senju doesn't mean that you're automatically stronger than me, you'll always be a dobe", Sasuke said walking away.
Naruto smiled and replied. "I feel the same way Teme", this was Naruto and Sasuke's way of stating that they're rivals.
when they reached the training ground they were forced to spar. Boyd and girls sparred separately. The girls went first with Hinata being the winner, followed by Sakura and Ino.
While the boys, well theirs was more intense. Kiba had won against a random civilian born. Shikamaru and Choji refused to fight. Shino beat a random civilian born. The last to fight were naruto and sasuke.
"Aright, I want a clean fight strictly taijutsu". Iruka said. "Aright guys begin". But before anyone could start Naruto turned his head. "Jiji? you can come out. now". This caused everyone to look at Naruto confused.
Before Sasuke could say anything Hiruzen, Donzo and the elders all appeared. "H-Hokage-Sama, Honorable elders, what has brough you here today?", Iruka said bowing. "Nothing, we simply just came to see the spar between the Uchiha and Senju", Homura stated.
"Alright boys continue", Hiruzen stated.
Naruto and sasuke stared at each other for a few seconds before they both ran at each other. They were in a fierce taijutsu fight, moving at speeds only low-level Chunin and abovr could see.
'They're fast, I'm even having difficulty keeping up with them', Iruka stated. "Where'd they go, I can't even see them", Kiba yelled. "Incredible, they're this strong? no wonder the uchiha and senju where feared and hailed as the strongest clans in the world". Choji said eating his chips.
'The dobes this strong? He can keep up with me at my fastest. He isnt even sweating', sasuke yelled in his mind. 'Hm, the teme is definitely chunin level, if he were to gain his sharingan he would definitely be able to keep up with me at my fastest. He needs to be stronger, I'll just give him that extra push', naruto thought as he smirked to himself
Sasuke noticed this and frowned. 'What is he smiling about', Sasuke thought dodging a kick from naruto. Naruto decided to take things to the next level and started moving at mid chunin speed. Sasuke could not even keep up, he became naruto's punching bag.
"Sasuke is getting beaten silly", Kiba said in disbelief as all they could see was sasuke bouncing around the training ground. Iruka moved to stop the match when Donzo stopped him. "Lord Donzo, please we need to stop this or sasuke could be seriously injured", Iruka protested.
"That won't be necessary as sasuke will be just fine. I can see what naruto is doing and he is making sasuke stronger", Hiruzen said before Donzo could reply Iruka. "How?", Iruka asked. "Just watch child and you'll see", this time koharu answered.
Naruto kicked sasuke causing sasuke to crash at a tree. "Honestly Sasuke, is this the best you've got?, I'm disappointed in you. Maybe people were wrong about you, no about the uchiha being so great. Honestly you're a disgrace to the Uchiha name. I'm not even sweating", Naruto said Taunting sasuke.
"Shut up Dobe, I'm stronger than you. I am an UCHIHA", Sasuke yelled as he rushed at naruto only for Naruto to punch him hard in his stomach causing him to cough out blood. "You? and uchiha, where is your sharingan then Uchiha, honestly you're sad. No you're beyond sad You're PATHETIC ", Naruto said before kicking sasuke.
Sasuke was thrown back at the tree. Naruto began to punch sasuke vigorously as he began to scream in pain. "Is this the best you've got UCHIHA", Naruto sakd kicking Sasuke again. "You can't even beat me, how can you expect to beat Itachi uchiha", Naruto said sending a kick at sasuke's head.
To his surprise and to everyone's surprise Sasuke caught Naruto's leg. His hand gripping in leg with blood dripping from his mouth. "Dont you EVER say that bastards name in front of me or I'll kill you", Sasuke said looking at Naruto as his black eyes turned red.
His eyes started spinning widly as in both eyes had gained two tomoes in each eye. Naruto smirked. "And again, don't you ever, EVER insult the Uchiha", sasuke said.
"Then sasuke, show me what an uchiha can do, especially since you've got the sharingan", Naruto said jumping back. Sasuke got up and closed his eyes, he took a deep breath in and looked at Naruto. He charged at Naruto with full speed and they engaged in an explosive taijutsu fight. Naruto wasn't holding back.
He was moving at his fastest and sasuke was able to keep up with him because he could see his movements. The more they fought the fast sasuke got until he and Naruto where at nothing but blurrs only visible yo the hokage and his party.
Naruto and sasuke then stopped. Sasuke went throught a few hand signs and inhaled. Massive chakra building in his lungs. Firestyle: Great fire ball jutsu sasuke yelled as a massive fireball rushed at naruto.
This caused Iruka to look in horror as a fireball the size of a small house rushed at Naruto. "NARUTO", Iruka yelled. Naruto smirked and went through 4 hand seales. Waterstyle: Water ball jutsu naruto yelled as a massive waterball rushed at sasuke's fireball.
Both jutsus collided and smoke filled the training ground. After a few seconds the smoke went away. Sasuke was on one knee while naruto was slightly sweating. "I give up", sasuke said before collapsing. Naruto smirked and went over to sasuke.
He placed his hand over him and began to heal him. 'Yes, three years from now, and they'll be the next hashirama and madara.' Hiruzen thought. Hiruzen and his advisers all looked at each other and disappeared.
After 1 hour sasuke had woken up. "It's about time you woke up teme. You passed out from chakra exhaustion, But i healed you", Naruto said sitting down and whiping the sweat from his forehead. "Thanks", sasuke said.
20 minutes pass and Iruka tests everyone with the standard jutsus, being the clone jutsu, substitution jutsu and the Henge no jutsu. Only 42 students had passed.
Around seven in the evening the whole village gathered to the hokage tower. The hokage was going to give an important speech.
"Alright everyone, Im here to tell you a joyous news. 12 years ago, someone was born and that person was discovered to be a senju", Hiruzen began. The villae erupted in cheers. The senju were alive.
"We had kept this person a secret for years and training him secretly so that when their heritage is revealed they will be strong enough to defend themselves. This person is the last of the nobel Uzumaki and Senju clans", Hiruzsn said.
"Please welcome, Senju-Uzumaki Naruto or Senju-Naruto, grandson of Tsunade Senju, Great-Great grandson of Hashirama senju and Great-grandson of Tobirama senju.", Hiruzen said as naruto walked up. The Naruto couldn't help but chuckle at the faces of the villagers. Murmurs could be heard. "You mean He is the senju?, But thats impossible. ", one villager said. "But if he is a senju that means he has the power to control that demon.", another said causing some villagers to agree.
"You're right, Senju-Sama along with Uchiha-sama will protect us from the demon", a few villagers said. suddenly the village exploded in shouts of joy. "Senju-sama, will protect us", They all chanted. "Senju, Senju, Senju, Senju, Senju", they continued to chant.
Naruto smiled at himself and so did the elders. Naruto then looked at the hokage mountain and said. 'Hashirama-Jiji, Tobirama-Jiji, tou-san I will protect your, no my village'.
