Gamelover41592: You are not the only one who reacted like that my friend, I can promise you that.

Matt (Guest): Sort of. I only left him there because the game did. In hindsight, I should have taken him out. He is on better terms with the girls now.

Guest: Video game logic moved into fan fic logic.

Okay, so like I said, I have a few mini chapters in mind so I can set things up for Pirate's Curse. And as I'm sure you can guess from the title, Bolo and Jasmine are going to train Shantae in the ways of the Badass Normal. Feel free to put on your favorite training music song and let's go!

Once the shock wore off, Shantae was forced to face the facts. She had no powers. While her hair was a powerful weapon in it's own right(as a few boys that didn't know what NO means learnt the hard way), she was nearly helpless without it. As such, Bolo and Jasmine quickly set up a small area near the lighthouse for Shantae to train. Sky helped too sometimes, but she mostly just watched. She was making good progress, but she still had a lot to learn.

"Risky will kill you both if she ever sees that," Sky said with an amused grin on her face. She, along with Bolo and Jasmine, had gone out to set things up early and had decided to start motivating her with pictures of Risky on the targets. Of course, no one was a skilled artist, so Bolo's stick figure with its tongue sticking out caused a lot of laughs.

"What are you talking about?" Jasmine asked between laughs. "It's perfect! Ten out of ten, mate!"

"No, the derp eyes need to be bigger!" Bolo jokingly criticized himself, causing more laughs. Once upon a time, he did kinda have a thing for Risky, but after what she did to Shantae, that killed any feelings he had. Of course, his crush on Shantae was now becoming more noticeable, but he chose to shove those feelings down for now. At least until after training and he could figure out why he was no longer thinking of her like a sister.

"What's so funny?" Shantae asked as she walked in. Everyone wordlessly pointed at the picture, which was now hanging up a piece of wood. She clapped her hands over her mouth, but they didn't help as she quickly collapsed into laughter herself.

Bolo fought to keep his blush down. "Her laugh is so cute!" He thought to himself. But he forced it down yet again before speaking up. "You ready to start?"

Shantae recovered from her laughing fit and stood up. "Ready. So, what are we doing this time?"

"Well, I think Bolo and I have already taught you enough about punching, so today, we are moving to kicking stuff where it hurts!" Jasmine said proudly. Shantae rolled her eyes, Jasmine had always been super proud of her freakishly long leg. She towered over most adults when she was like twelve. And while she did prefer her boomerang and animal necklace, she still had a mean kick.

"Okay, so if you want to throw a good kick…" Bolo began to explain. For most of the morning, he and Jasmine showed Shantae how to really put power into her legs. It also led to Bolo touching her a lot(no not like that, get your heads out of the gutter) and left her fighting to avoid blushing.

Both of the oblivious idiots were equally oblivious to Jasmine and Sky's repeated eye rolls.

After a lunch break, Shantae began trying to break the wood. However, she found that for whatever reason, she couldn't get the force she needed.

"Why can't I do this?!" She exclaimed, growing more frustrated and upset over her repeated failures.

"Give it another shot, I know you can do it," Jasmine assured her. Shantae took a deep breath and decided to give herself a running start. Right as she was getting ready to kick, Jasmine suddenly slammed her foot down on Bolo's.

"OOOOOOWWWWW!"

SNAP!

"What was that for!?" Bolo exclaimed. Jasmine merely grinned and crossed her arms.

"Motivation," She said simply. Bolo was about to question what she meant, only to notice that Shantae's kick had snapped the wood clean in half!

"How did I do that?" Shantae said as she looked over the pieces.

"My guess, you heard Bolo get hurt and it gave you the motivation you needed," Sky offered. Shantae nodded. Something about that made sense to her. But she knew there was something holding her back.

"I guess, but something else I think has been holding me back is that...I already know I'm never going to be as good at this stuff as you guys," Shantae said.

"You don't need to be!" Bolo said. "While yeah, being able to do what Jasmine and I do is really cool and it sucks you can't, you have your own strengths!"

"Besides, with any luck, we'll be able ta find a way to get your magic back for ya!" Jasmine added in. Shantae had gone from wanting to kick Bolo in his hot spot for that comment to pulling all three of her friends into a big group hug. She had the best group of friends ever.

No I am not sorry for the massive amount of teasing in this. Also, if you did, what work out track did you guys play?
